    I called Jared and Crown Electric Services for an issue I was experiencing with power going to my garage. After calling two other places with long lead times to come out and even diagnose the problem, Jared quickly shared that he could find a way to dispatch someone that day to support my need. He then went above and beyond and asked what specifically the issue was, and recognized that it was something that he could help me troubleshoot over the phone for the first steps prior to dispatching. The suggestions worked, and I was able to be back with power to the garage within minutes. His support of understanding the problem, and finding quick solutions rather than charging to come out and do the same thing goes a long way and Ive now found my Asheville go-to electrician.     Jared from Crown Electric is a great business owner and a great person to work with. He replaced a ceiling fan for me in my living room in no time at all and added a dimmer switch to its light on my light switch. While many dimmer switches begin to flicker at their lowest setting, Jared was able to make it so that mine does not.After he was finished with my fan, I asked him if he could replace my thermostat. He was honest and said he wasnt familiar with the old one I wanted replaced (it was a mess) but said he would take a look. You can tell Jared loves to problem-solve and finish a job because once he got the old thermostat pulled off and the wires exposed, he was adamant about getting the new one on. He ended up calling the manufacturer to get help navigating the process, which I thought was above and beyond. He charged me a very reasonable amount for both services.The last thing I want to mention about Jared is that I called him with power out in one of my bedrooms to see if he could replace a fuse, and instead of setting an appointment and charging me, he walked me through how to reset it properly over the phone (I dont claim to be a handy person). I thought that was incredibly generous of him, as he easily could have charged me $150 to come reset it.I will continue to use Jared for all of my electrical needs. Thank you!

    As first-time homeowners in Asheville, we bought a house that needed every electrical outlet to be rewired, live wires to be dealt with, and a light fixture to be replaced to match the capacity of the dimmer switch.     Jared, Kenneth, and the rest of his crew do top-notch work at a very reasonable price. I had a 1970s home with some real funky wiring and they came in and accomplished everything we wanted done both inside and outside, on time, and were extremely pleasant the whole time. Jared was also very responsive when needed. There was something (not their fault) that went wrong after they left and they promptly came back and fixed the next day. Would recommend hands down.

    I used this company to install a pair of wall sconces, and I honestly dont think I could be more pleased with my experience. I called at about 11:00 on a Monday and got the owner, Jared, on the first try. Over the next couple of hours, Jared fielded several calls from me while I waffled over what exactly I wanted to do. When I finally made my decision, Jared had me on the schedule for the very next morning.The journeyman who did the work, Luke, was at my house at 9:30 on Tuesday, less than twenty-four hours after I first made contact with this company. The work was done within three hours, and it was done for an incredibly fair price. The sconces are precisely where I wanted them and perfectly level with one another. Luke cleaned up after himself, even using a hand vacuum to remove the drywall dust from where he cut the boxes into the wall.Ive already recommended this company to my father and a friend of mine, and I will be calling them again in the future should I ever have a job to do that Im not prepared to handle myself.

    Jared was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a new GFCI box installed in my laundry room for a tankless water heater. He was able to get in the same day and hook everything up.     Jared and his team from Crown Electric did a great job with a diverse list of projects in my home. They were professional, efficient and respectful. What I was really impressed with was their persistence in resolving an issue with my under cabinet lighting and its performance with the dimmer switch. I have dealt with contractors that would claim there was nothing that could be done and I would have to live with the imperfection. Crown Electric was committed to resolving the issue which ended up being defective lights. No fault of theirs. They installed the new lights for me which are preforming as designed. I highly recommend them!

    I have used Jared and his team for five years, first on the electrical associated with some remodeling and then on and off for improvements, etc. associated with my 1920s home. He is honest, highly competent, and never tries to oversell. In fact, when I have recommended or requested changes, he will tell me when they are unnecessary as opposed to others who frequently will do whatever you ask or recommend things you dont need. Best electrician I have ever had across all four of my homes owned.

    What a fantastic experience! I bought a 1920s bungalow in Asheville and my realtor Tracy Dew called in Jared Crown with Crown Electric to inspect the wiring prior to purchase as there was some old knob and tube wiring still in use in the house. It was over the Christmas holidays but Jared and his crew came out to replace all the wiring. Jared was great about calling with progress updates as Im still out of state, he also made some solid suggestions on correcting previous placement of fixtures and wiring. He pulled the permits and met the inspector to assure that everything was handled and signed off on by the city inspector. Jared and his crew made the entire experience a piece of cake, which is much appreciated.     What a team of pros! A simple renovation of a 100yr old house in Montford exposed errant wiring requiring a complete redo of the electrical.     I couldnt recommend Crown Electric Services more to anyone looking for electric work. My AC went out on a Friday and the HVAC team wanted me to confirm that it wasnt an electrical issue prior to sending someone out. I have a one year old and being without air in the heat of the summer would be very difficult. Although Crown Electric had a full schedule, he took time to walk me through what I should look at to know if it was an electrical problem do that I could get someone to come out and help me. I will be using this company for all my electrical needs in the future.

    I cant say enough about Crown Electric. During a recent storm my neighbors tree took out a power line which pulled down the power pole in front of my house yanking out the power lines from my house. The power company informed me at 2:30pm on a Friday that I would need an electrician to come repair the line at my house before they could restore the power. I called Jared and he came over right away, assessed the damage, pulled a permit and repaired everything by 5pm. He called the city to get it passed so Duke could come back out that night and get my power back on. With temps in the 20s I cant begin to tell you how grateful I was to Jared for working so quickly to get my power back up! Thank you so much!
