We had a great experience with the Brian and Anthony, team that came to help us out. They were able to come out quickly to solve our issue, they assessed the damage and gave us a fair quote. They did not try to upsell us, and were very honest in their assessment. Brian is very knowledgeable in his profession, he was able to explain it to us in a way that made sense, and he was so patient with my many questions. Anthony was helpful and was supporting Brian throughout their time here. I appreciated their professionalism, and that they didnt leave behind a huge mess for us to clean up. We will definitely be reaching out to them again for pluming and gas services.

Brian and Anthony were absolutely great! I called them out for a issue where I wasnt sure if a fix was needed or not, and they carefully investigated the issue, talked through diagnostic options and costs, and then talked about a proposed fix. Ultimately they explained that a fix would likely solve the issue (a gurgling toilet), but explained why it likely wasnt necessary unless I really wanted to fix it. They had plenty of opportunities to recommend unnecessary work and declined: I really appreciated their honesty, inquisitiveness, and knowledge base.This is one of the friendliest and most professional service calls Ive had in DC, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber.

We recently had an exterior line break out front and this company did an amazing job repairing the line professionally and in a timely manner. In addition we had a separate issue with our irrigation system that they also took a look at and quickly repaired as well. Brian (the owner) was very professional and went so far as to come out at 9:00PM once to make sure that things were going well with the repair. Great team!

I needed a plumbing company to stop the water hammering problem at my home. I previous had a bad experience not getting this fixed by another company. The operator for Affordable Plumbing took my info and wanted me to send pics what the previous company did. I had a tech Monday morning at a reasonable time, operator gave me a courtesy call to let me know the technician was on his way. The tech who came was Carlos, he explained to me and showed me the cause of the problem, he was very informative. Techincian did some repairs and fixed the problem. Going into two days after, I dont hear any water hammering. I wish I called them sooner, I feel they value their customers. I have recommended a co-worker of mine to call them in case they have plumbing issues.

I was really glad I called them. Brian was professional and went extra mile to diagnose my garbage disposal, someone else might have said need new disposal but Brian pointed out it was only 4 years old, and actually just had some small pieces of glass in it from when I had accident in the kitchen, he didnt stop until all of them were removed. He only charged me half the usual diagnostic fee, I really appreciated that.He apprenticed with another large plumbing firm that Ive used in the past. I was happy with them but not so much their prices, feel they gouged me last time they came, to be honest.Even though he didnt replace or install any plumbing items, I feel Im in capable and HONEST hands, so Ill use them from now on, I already told my brother if he needs plumbing to call them.

I had a gas leak on my house line detected on Sunday afternoon and the gas control (matrix system) needed to be replaced. Gas was shut down, so no heat, no water.I called Affordable Plumbing & Gas LLC late on Sunday. Montiel called me back quickly understood the issue and scheduled a technician for Monday morning between 8-10 am.At 8:10 I got a message that the technician was on his way. He did a great job, checked everything, especially that there was no more gas leak. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions/concerns.The price was exactly what I was told.Very satisfied.

I had gotten home from work later than usual around 12:00am I go to take a shower when the water was cold! I was furious but finished my shower anyway I go to my basement to see a huge leak and water all over the basement floor I was furious due to it being about 1am by this time and knowing most companies wouldn’t be able to get out until morning the next day I had my in-laws coming to town and knew that not having hot water was a big no go so I called multiple companies and each of them said they wouldn’t be able to get there until late the next day until I found affordable plumbing. Carlos and Brian arrived within 1hour and immediately got to work! By this time it was 2am and they said that my old water heater busted and was over 20years old and the only way to fix it was replacing it I immediately got furious thinking that this would take a long time for them to source the water heater and actually do the job not only the fact that I’m sure the whole interaction would have costed an arm and a leg. Well I live in a single family home and explained to them that I had my in-laws coming to town the next day they were extremely understanding and knew exactly how much of a pain it would be to not have hot water the next day. They checked they’re truck and found a top of the line 80 gallon tank ready to go they gave me a awesome price and got the job done in no time ! At the very end they took some extra time to look around while they were already there and saw the potential for other leaks and actually found a very small leak under my bathroom sink they gave me a deal to take care of that while they were there. By the time they were done with everything the sun had barley started to come out and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended this company to anyone and everyone these guys will be my first call next time I need any plumbing done again! Thank you guys so much ! ❤️

Absolutely amazing customer service! On a rainy Sunday afternoon, our shower decided to start spraying water everywhere. Quick turnaround from when i called this business , and when Brian and his helper arrived they were very polite and professional. Not only did they provide my service but they also educated me and my family on the service and how to prolong the efficiency and life on my plumbing. I had a shower handle that was hard to pull out and turn , and incorrectly installed to begin with. He fixed it and it’s been an amazing difference on my mom who has bursitis on her scapula. Also my garbage disposal was not working and his technician was able to fix it quickly as well. I also got a new faucet installed and a water heater. All within a reasonable price. We replaced our gas range and found the gas line was IMPOSSIBLE to remove to install the new line. In one call we had an appointment for same day install. The service call fee is reasonable, and rolled into the price of work completed. Carlos was great! He was able to replace the cut off valve and install the stove line in short order. He also took the time to show us our main cut off valve and how to restart the pilot light for the water heater. Carlos put up with my chatter while testing for leaks and making sure all the burners were working. The job was done efficiently, neatly, and with friendly courtesy. Price was very reasonable, too.

This company does great work. Carlos was amazing. Very friendly honest and a fast worker. He came to install a new toilet for me but ended up fixing my bathroom faucet. Then gave me a quote for a new hot water heater which will be installed this week. I’m a busy person and don’t like to wait on others so for them to be prompt and fast and knowledgeable I was impressed. They are my new plumbing and gas company. I will have them on speed dial when needed.
