We were definitely in a bind that Perry Aire got us out of in a timely manner. Had a gas leak on the outside pipe leading into my meter. Very hard finding a company to work at a commercial site but Perry Aire answered the call. They came the following day and fixed the pipe which will allow me to open my business and my team to get back to work. And my technician Ryan was very kind and efficient. I am very grateful to them.

The level of commitment & customer service shown towards their customers is phenomenal.Steve is an exceptional manager who provided detailed information so I could make an informed decision about selecting a water source heat pump. Once a decision was made he ensured the item was delivered & installed as soon as possible because I’d been without air conditioning for over a month during the month of June!!Lee & David, service technicians, worked tirelessly to ensure my heat pump was installed properly. They were not only two of the friendliest individuals I’ve met but they informed me about everything they were doing during the install. They actually took pride in their work as if it were their home being serviced. This selfless act displayed is priceless these days when other companies continuously attempt to cut corners. I can’t wait to see Lee & David next spring when my heat pump has to be serviced!

When the company that installed my Knight boiler sold out to a company your hear on the radio and TV, who then left me hanging in the cold because they didnt know how to work on my system, Perry Aire bailed me out. So when my A/C went out, I called them for a heat pump. It was a complicated install but Perry Aire staff, especially Ray Cantu, stuck with it and got it right. Very happy.You can hire these folks with confidence. Unlike many companies out there, the name on the truck is actually in the house and he will stand behind the work. Thats harder to find than it should be. Here it is.

I had an HVAC cooling issue in early October 2024 at my old home, and I needed a quick resolution. I reached out to Steve Van Reenen, who was incredibly responsive and scheduled a service call right away. Lee Mitchell came out to handle the issue, and he was fantastic—professional, easy to talk to, efficient, and thorough. He took care of the problem quickly without any hassle. Thanks to Lee, I was cooling again in no time.Later in Oct 2024, I called Steve Van Reenen again for help with a PLUMBING issue. He put Brendan Russell on the job to help me repair a non-standard shower diverter in my new home. Brendan first came out on a service call to identify the brand, contacted the manufacturer, and ordered the replacement. When the part arrived, he came out promptly to complete the repair, and I was impressed by how efficiently he got everything working again. Brendan was not only super nice but also incredibly effective at his job. I highly recommend Brendan for anyone needing help!

I used Perry Aire for a plumbing issue I was having in our bathroom. After a few plumbing companies turned us down because it’s a jacuzzi tub, we were lucky to find Perry and the great service of their technician Brendan. He spent a lot of time helping diagnose the unknown issue that we were having with a leak, and we finally got to the bottom of it. He was an expert in his knowledge, thorough in his assessment, and fair and transparent in resolution and cost. We will definitely be using them again as well as calling them for any HVAC services.

This time they helped me with a plumbing problem related to the installation of a new refrigerator. They are easy to reach, quick to respond, helpful and with reasonable prices. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️————-Perry Aire is terrific. Last night — the eve of Labor Day Weekend — I returned from a trip to find my AC wasn’t cooling. The company that installed my AC wouldn’t come fix it over the holiday weekend even though 100 degree temps were forecast, nor would another well known AC/plumbing company. I’m very grateful to Perry Aire (Steve) for promptly returning my call on a Friday evening and for Rich coming out first thing Saturday morning of this holiday weekend to fix it. The technician was friendly. I am still wrapping my head around a rate of 300 per hour and stated the problem was the flapper in the toilet. He did snake and left dirty hand prints and scratch the toilet a good bit. I am sure he would have cleaned up after if I would have pressed him. Scratches I guess is just part of work.Less likely to call a plumber for the expense. I spent 450 dollars to diagnose a flapper issue and not even replace it.

I have an old house, so Im in the habit of collecting contractor information, whether by mail, word of mouth or otherwise. I saw a Perry Aire vehicle around the neighborhood (Marketing teams: vehicle graphics work!!!) and took down the info. When I had several issues in the house that needed different skillsets -- plumbing, electrical, etc -- I called them because they seemed to do it all. I dont regret it one bit. Robin Coop Cooper came to the rescue, diagnosed the problem in each of my issues almost immediately and got to work. He was pleasant, professional, gave me tips for ongoing little stuff to help take care of things...he was just a great dude. I want to take him fishing and hear more stories! But I would undoubtedly do business with Perry Aire again. Everyone from their office personnel were responsive and professional as well and Robin did a great job. Highly recommend them.

I have lived in Fairlington Villages for over 20 years. In that time, I have used every HVAC company in town. From the ones who advertise on TV, to the operation that used to be housed in the complex. Perry Aire is, without question, the best of the bunch. Moh came to access the problem. He was friendly, clear, helpful, and honest. Brad came to do the repairs. The fist time Brad came, he did the five hour repair in the pouring rain. He had to then do one small thing to the unit inside the house, but he asked if he could come back because he was soaked and didnt want to mess up our house. The air conditioning was working fine and the last thing he had to do was not going to stop the air. He then came back and finished the job wonderfully. Susan who answers the phone is also a gem and a great professional. She was willing and able to work with my busy schedule. I will always use Perry Aire.

I only wish I had called Perry Aire first. We have an older mini-split in a town home that stopped working and was giving a strange error signal. 2 of the big DC companies were unable to diagnose the problem and tried to convince me that it was a leak and I would have to replace the entire system for around $25,000. I called Perry Air in hopes that they could somehow fix the existing system. After an initial visit, Steve sent his best mini-split guy, Nelson, to work on the system. He came and was patient and listened to me describe the issue (it was a flashing red light on the indoor units that would appear after a few minutes). Nelson ran some diagnostics on the outdoor unit and was able to determine the error code and order the required part. He returned a few days later to install the new part (it was the thermistor) and the unit is working like new for only a few hundred dollars that I was more than willing to spend after thinking I may have to replace the entire unit. I was so pleased I purchased their twice a year service plan to make sure the unit stays running. If you have mini-split issues, call Perry Aire and ask for Nelson!

I had the distinct pleasure of dealing with Jorge Ventura. Extremely personable and went above and beyond to explain the ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ of my HVAC issue. He went into my attic, basement, outside and diagnosed the problem which also prevented a premature purchase unlike the competitors who wanted me to get a monthly payment plan and claimed a pet wasn’t working when in fact it was.

Last week during the heat wave with over 100 degree indices, our A/C stopped cooling. The fan was blowing, but it wasn’t cool. We live in a high rise with a water cooled system, units that not every HVAC company can service. We called Perry Aire Services, Inc. and Mr. Brad Boyd was our chosen technician. We can not say enough great things about this man. Not only is he a true professional and master of his craft, he is of great character. This salt of the earth man fixed our problem and became a friend in one afternoon. If you have an issue with your HVAC, do not hesitate to call Perry Aire Services and ask for Brad Boyd.

I cant say enough good things about Perry Aire Services. I undertook a renovation to our 1940s colonial home last year. I wanted to enclose our screened in porch and convert it into an interior media room using the existing concrete slab. This required tapping into our existing boiler and hvac unit.After contacting a number of heating and air conditioning companies and after a number of contractors told me it couldnt be done, I was lucky enough to meet Steve Perry. Steve is a master electrician and plumber and is extremely knowledgable and helpful. I hired his company to do both jobs and am very pleased with my results. Perry Aire did what others said or didnt want to do, and both jobs passed all of the Fairfax county inspections.Steves employees are very knowledgable, courteous, professional, and are excellent problem solvers, who are willing to go the extra mile for you. Thanks especially to John and Willy who did difficult duct work.I highly recommend Perry Aire Services for all types of heating, air conditioning or other plumbing work, especially if you have a difficult residential or commercial job.

I had a new home built in Arlington, and Perry Aire did the installation of the geothermal system. Before I had them do the installation, I spent a lot of time on the phone with Steve getting information about the various options, and I was impressed with his knowledge of geothermal systems. They did the install and I am very happy with the work that they did. Steve took complete ownership of the entire HVAC system and has been onsite to tweak the system several times since we moved in (some times before I knew that there were any issues.) If you are thinking about geothermal in Arlington, Steve Perry is the guy.I also had recommended Perry Aire to a neighbor who was having issues with his 1980s era AC system in his home. His company with whom he had his annual maintenance contract, told him that he needed to replace part of his system to the tune of about $1,000.00. I told him to have Steve send over one of his guys to take a look (without even knowing about the previous estimate), and the Perry Aire guys came out and fixed the problem for $80 worth of parts and labor. Crazy. Steve and his team are now definitely our go to guys for all things HVAC related.
