I highly recommend Philips Electric. I hired the company to rewire two floors of my house and they did a superb job. Jeff and his assistant were meticulous and very hard working. They walked me through each step of the project along the way and were very easy to have in the house. Yes it was expensive, but I’ve always believed you get what you pay for and I would not hesitate to use Philips again.

I have had two very positive experiences with Phillips Electric. The first was in 2023 when we had a hard to diagnose arc/gfci breaker tripping issue in a renovated area of our home. The technician examined all connections and tightened and cleaned the receptacles and the problem was solved.The second was today, when I called to schedule an inspection of a dead receptacle and Phillip talked me through checking out the possibility that another gfci outlet may have been the cause. Bingo, that saved me the cost of a house call.I recommend this company.Thanks Phillip!

I am a property manager in the Boston area and I deal with many vendors. After a fiasco with another company at one of our buildings I found Philips Electric. He’s prompt, clean courteous, knows exactly how to handle difficult residents and his work is top notch. He can handle commercial, residential complex work and I intend to continue to work with him. He has a keen eye for design and has done some really beautiful sconces and pendants on dimmers and he’s worked in both my newer and older buildings. I prioritized professionalism and clean work over everything and Philip and his team does this without me having to ask. Highly highly recommended.

I had called Phillips electric out of the blue looking to see if I could get some help on a small project changing a ceiling light that was constantly intermittently blinking on and off. I was surprised I got someone on the phone rather than set an appointment to come out. He helped me a great deal to figure out the problem. Eventually, everything worked. I can’t say enough about the type of Service I received. If I ever need electrical work done at my house this is the company I’m calling.

In searching for a new electrician to upgrade some outlets in my restored 150+ year old house and barn/garage, I was lucky enough to call Philips Electric and speak directly with the owner. He sent someone out promptly for an inspection of the site, provided a fair estimate and followed through a few weeks later with a top notch job. The two electricians who came clearly knew what they were doing and treated my old walls and wires with care and attention to detail. When one of the outlets needed reconfiguring a few weeks later, they again responded promptly and knew exactly what to do. I highly recommend Philips Electric!

Philips Electric has replaced two ceiling fans, a bathroom exhaust fan, installed an outdoor light, and repaired several outlets in my condo. Both times Ive needed work done over the past year, theyve been on-time and very professional. Also took the time to answer my questions/concerns and explained an electrical panel issue with me - very friendly and helpful. All of the work done has been great and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know who needs electrical work done in their home or business. I will certainly call them again whenever I need some electrical work done in my home.

Philip and his team were amazing. We needed a quick kitchen fan repair while we worked out a first floor rewiring and panel upgrade plan. They did an amazing job with both and provided high quality work for a fair price. They show up on time, provide updates along the way, kept the downtime to a minimum, were friendly and safe, and provided suggestions and recommendations to save us money and improve our home. They follow-up and showed up when we wanted a few updates after the work was done as we added some smart switches after the fact. They came in well within the range of their estimate and because they were under we were able to add a few bonus items we wanted. If youre looking for a smooth, hassle free, honest and professional electrical team, we couldnt recommend Philips Electric enough.

Philip sent out two gentlemen (Jeff and his intern) both were professional, on time, and accurate in every way. They texted me when they would arrive and came on time.They took the time to explain to me what the problem was and proceeded to repair it. Thank you for such great service.

Philip has handled a number of electrical jobs for me for the past several years. Outlets, circuit breaker, smoke detectors are a few of the areas where he has helped me solve and take care of important problems. Good experience with Philips Electric - would definitely call on them again. We had an issue, during the covid crisis, where one of our light fixtures was flickering erratically, where we wondered if there was some sketchy wiring. They were able to quickly resolve the issue for us, and happy with their honesty and professionalism.

I was in need of a new electrician when the business I use regularly wasnt available. I prefer to work with local companies (I live in Arlington, MA), and Philips did not disappoint. The team he sent did a FANTASTIC job, and this is now my #1 electrician for the area (and the bar was already very high). They not only showed up on time, but a wee bit early (which I appreciated), and they were professional and courteous throughout the 7 hours they spent installing 4 ceiling fans w/light fixtures, programming them, and rewiring various associated outlets, too. Efficient, neat, fantastic work, and they cleaned up so well my home was cleaner than when they started! I especially appreciated how they checked in with me with each installation to make sure they were installing the fans and associated remotes where I wanted them. If ten stars instead of six were possible, thats what Id choose. First rate company.
