    We had a different company come out to check our furnaces for the winter. They end of their checkout and they told us we should really replace both as one had a motor failing and rust and the other he turned off as he said there was a hole in it.Thankfully, we received a recommendation to call LCM for a second opinion. They sent one of their men to our home and he checked both furnaces. His recommendation was that both were fine and to just get them checked annually to keep on top of any changes.Well they now have a new customer. They will contact us in the spring to have our air conditioners checked and cleaned.Thank you LCM.

    Lake County Mechanical has been doing services to my home every year for the last 10 years. If it’s either a yearly boiler tube-up or service check of my AC unit they are timely, reliant, professional and very competent in what they do. Special shout-out to to women I speak over the phone who always sets up our appointments and to home technician Miguel Olague who takes his time to explains to me everything he does and for making sure he delivers high quality work.

    Amazing customer service every single time! Knowledgeable service people, always helpful and I like how they call you when the technicians are on the way to your home. They have a program where you pay once a year and you receive both AC and furnace maintenance. Would 10/10 recommend.

    Have used LCM a few years now. Installed our furnace and service technician comes out for annual maintenance. They send email reminder to schedule and then text/phone to let you know technician is enroute. Today service tech Jacob came out, very personable yet professional, did through maintenance check and change humidifier pad, went over basic condition of the system.

    10/10, WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND SHAUN AND LAKE COUNTY MECHANICAL!!!Shaun, the owner, personally stopped by when our furnace went out.Our funance was 20 years old and went out about 7 PM.We called at 7 pm the night before, and they promised someone by 8-10. She was very polite and professional.Better yet, the same woman called by 7 am and Dan the technician came out to give the furnace a look by 730! He was honest, very easy to talk too and very professional.He essentially gave us a few options, with a new furnace being the best one.Shaun had Dan and his team setup space heaters in our home, out of a courtesy, at no cost, because it 56 degrees in the house.Mike and Jacob were super nice to talk to and great at what they did.TY VERY MUCH SHAUN AND TEAM!!!

    I use LCM for our Spring A/C tune up and Fall furnace inspections every year to ensure everything is running smoothly.During the last inspection, it was very obvious we needed a new water heater and while house humidifier. (I was aware but was putting it off.)LCM gave us options, answered my questions thoroughly, and provided a reasonable quote for services. They scheduled and arrived on time and everything went great!LCM is a great company. Honest people who arent looking to up sell.     The guys that came and cleaned our duct work were, polite, caring, professional, efficient and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to wash vent covers, repaired a broken vent and removed vents that were part of the sealed hard wood floors…without any damage. Pictures were taken of vents before and after the cleaning. They were disgusting and now they look like new! It’s amazing the difference it made in the air quality of our home (since we have allergies), the air flow through all of the vents and the energy efficiency it’s created with the furnace. Can’t wait to see the impact it makes on our energy bill. Thank you for a great experience!

    Lake County Mechanical was wonderful! Professional, courteous and worked really fast. I contacted them through the BBB for a duct cleaning in my home. My wife and I recently purchased a home and found a teddy bear (and a bunch of other things) clogging our duct work. The whole team worked to resolve the issue from the moment I called to the moment the work was completed. I highly recommend LCM. Fair pricing, excellent customer service, prompt and on time service AND NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR REMOVING THE TEDDY 🐻. I will be calling LCM for my duct cleaning from now on.

    Our 20 year old furnace gave out last Thursday night. I submitted a request with Lake County Mechanical on Friday AM a little before 7, and about 10 minutes later they had called to set up an appointment. By later that night we had a new furnace at a reasonable price, and the next day they called to make sure we were warm and cozy. :) Highly recommend!

    I have Gold Maintenance Agreements (Yearly Support) with LCM for both my house and for my Mothers Condo. My 22 year old (2002) furnace finally died out! LCM (Jacob and Shawn) replaced my old Amana with a rocking new Lennox Furnace! Kudos to them for removing the old furnace and installing the new one. Me not being mechanically inclined... I was very happy with how they answered my questions and walked through the installation and operation of the new furnace (and even the thermostat) with me.     The office staff was polite and efficient,scheduling an appointment for the same day I called. The technicians were on time, I was notified prior to their arrival. The technicians were professional,were able to diagnose the problem, showed me what they were doing, and did the necessary repairs. They didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, or tell me I needed a new HVAC. I know my unit is older, so I asked to get estimate for new HVAC unit for future reference. Shaun sent me a reasonable quote in a couple days, so now I know what to expect as far as cost goes for a new unit.     My AC went out during the hottest week of the summer and the company I normally use sent some kid out that could not at all diagnose my issue.     Last fall LCM installed a new Lennox AC. Everyone I have dealt with at the office and the installation has been so wonderful. A few weeks after the install I had to get a new furnace, but I went through my home warranty company because it would be replaced for virtually nothing - but they had to send another company to do the work. They were terrible.The first day I needed my brand new air conditioner, now in June it wasn’t working. I called the office at 9am and was very pleasantly told that they would get someone out to check it out that day. She asked what my schedule was and I had a couple of things going on and so she accommodated my schedule.Shaun arrived as soon as I was available. He diagnosed and fixed the issue. The problem was caused by the other company who installed the furnace - they had disconnected the power to the AC and left it that way. Shaun had my AC back working within 30 minutes at a cost that was very minimal.Shaun and everyone in the office have been great to work with. All of my interactions have been very good. I highly recommend LCM - great service by people who seem to actually care about their customers! How refreshing!

    We were having furnace trouble the day before a Holiday, we had no heat and we were having a hard time finding a service company to come to the house. A friend recommended Lake County Mechanical, we called and they dispatched a service vehicle within a couple of hours. The service technician (Sean) was experienced and answered all our questions. We needed a new gas valve and he went to his shop to get the part and was back to our house fixing the furnace within an hour. We enjoyed a warm Thanksgiving, Thank You Lake County Mechanical !

    I called on a Saturday and they came early Monday morning. My furnace gave out after 17 years and they replaced it along with a whole house air filter and a humidifier. Great service. Lots of communication. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a big job and I really liked the way they handled it. The price was excellent compared to other local options. The equipment is excellent. I would absolutely recommend them and I will be using them again when its time to replace the air conditioner.

    Outstanding service, professionalism and extremely prompt response. After being repeatedly ignored by my previous HVAC contractor for my Fox Lake house who failed to return multiple calls and texts, I reached out to Lake County Mechanical on the recommendation of a friend. They brought/wore protective gear (gloves, masks, shoe protection, etc) to make us feel safe.     My wife and I grew up using Rick Kuehn Heating and Air Conditioning in the Lake Villa area. So needless to say when we got our own home we continued since they have always been honest and responsible. When they joined teams with Lake County Mechanical it was a great choice.     I switched to using Lake County Mechanical, Inc, for my HVAC needs for my house and for my Moms condo. Most recently they replaced my home humidifier and I give them 5 stars! Over the summer I did have an A/C issue which they came out on the same day and helped me temporarily until they came back with a permanent fix a few days afterwards. I was so impressed with their service (combined with a lack of response from a provider that was bought out by another company I originally used for support) that I have switch to using them moving forward!!

    Customer Service is incredible with follow through from start, during and to the end. On Christmas Eve and no heat, the temp was in the teens, our Tech person was DeVonte and he was unbelievable friendly, on time and very knowledgeable.     The Company called me a few times to let me know that they were running late, but should be there by 3:00. Again, I was called and told that the technician would be there within a half hour. So good updates on time. The technician was polite, friendly, and completed his check work within about a half hour. He just suggested to cut back as much as possible the bush by the air conditioner to provide more air circulation, which I told him will happen in another week or so. No problems, and I was happy to hear that. Everything worked out fine.

    Trace came out to inspect our air conditioner and comb the fins from hail damage. He was very thorough, explained clearly in terms I could understand and made sure it was in proper working order.     We purchased a home in Antioch in July of 2018. Thru the sales process we knew we would need to quickly replace 2 furnaces and 2 air conditioners. After the home closing we got busy finding the right firm. We had 4 firms out to bid the job, with LCM being one of them. The other 3 contractors came out, looked at the current air-conditioners and furnaces and gave us a bid.Shaun from LCM came out and looked at the current equipment. He then called me the next day to ask about setting another appointment to come back out. Shaun came out and spent a considerable amount of time. He shut both units down, then measured the square footage of each room. He turned one unit on and then went vent by vent, room by room, to really understand what rooms that particular unit was servicing.The results were one unit handled about 1200 square feet of living space. The other unit handled 2200 square feet of living space. Shaun then sized the units appropriately.LCM had a competitive price, and their service has been excellent. I cant say enough about the time Shaun took to really understand the house and sizing the units for maximum efficiency.

    My boiler went out late on a Friday night. The temperature outside dropped down to the teens. So Saturday morning I called Lake County Mechanical they sent a technician out right away, he was abel to repair my boiler. The price was very reasonable for a weekend emergency service.     Joe has worked on our annual maintenance before and knows all about our furnace. He explained the cause of our minor problem, fixed it, and charged a reasonable price.     We called L.C.M. when our furnace stopped working and the temperatures were dropping. Jason arrived at the house within an hour! He did a very thorough troubleshoot and located the problem in no time. He replaced the part that failed and had the furnace up and running.     I just bought a property in Kenosha with an 11 year old water heater, a 19 year old furnace and AC. I searched HVAC dealers and installers in the area and was impressed with Shaun, Melissa, Milos, Eric and Lake County Mechanicals (LCM) responsiveness, professionalism and value for the entire package. The on site inspection found many issues with the original installation like gaps on the return transition sheet metal fit to the filter housing and on the return boot with poor piping alignment and Milos ensured that it would all be corrected during their install.     ***UPDATE 5/25/21***LCM came in early April and did my semi-annual tune-up and said gas levels were low (but they did not want to load it as low temps could be culprit). Jump to late May and i felt house was not cooling enough, called them up and they came over and added 2 lbs of gas to system. Milos was great and efficient. Still a happy customer.***UPDATE 4/16/20***Got a call from LCM to set up my spring tune-up. The whole process of reminders and texts is how i wish a lot of service providers would work. Got my text letting me know technician Milo was on his way and i was ready when he arrived. He showed up with mask, gloves and booties and it was much appreciated in these COVID-19 stay at home days. He did his job and gave me update and then received my follow up calls from the office.Awesome...glad i switched over to Lake County Mechanical last year.***********************I had called Lake County Mechanical (LCM) and set up an appointment as my HVAC seemed to be turning on / off and my previous HVAC company used had gone out of business.Was glad that i got a txt and and e-mail letting me know technician was on his way. Ben arrived and introduced himself and quickly got me up to speed on what his plan was. He asked on what side of house unit was on, and off he went. Within 5 minutes he had come back with a 100% clogged filter, explained how that could be the cause of my issues and continued with the tune-up process.     Heating system not working, house was 50degress when I got home, they were on site in 15min after I called, and was very helpful in helping me understand my heating system (boiler) and what was wrong, and went above and beyond, also very reasonably priced.     Very happy with the Lake County Mechanical crew.I had 3 - 4 guys arrive on time to replace my 70 year old boiler with a new Weil McLane unit. Prior to signing a contract i bid out 4 other local companies, my supt. / project manager experience took over. I was specific with the unit I wanted ( researched that, too) and I bid everyone apples for apples. Lake County was the only contractor that met and exceeded my requirements. The only extra was my zone valves, which I / we priced out before the work started because we were not sure of their condition until they were removed. Like I said these guys kicked it for me, beat the time frame, cleaned up,hauled away the junk, reviewed the new boiler operation and came in right on budget.     My neighbors pool failed, displacing 15000 gallons of water into my yard and basement. LCM came out quickly. Repositioned the AC compressor back onto its slab, checked the copper feeds and electrical. Also checked my hot water tank to insure no water damage.     I hired this company to increase the size of my undersized ductwork inorder to get the air flow needed to run forced air throughout the house. Initially they made a mistake on one calculation, they went above and beyond any company I have ever seen to rectify that mistake. His knowledge on air flow and ductwork in general was why I hired them in the first place.I worked as hvac service tech for 7 years. I would have done it myself but was missing an extra set of hands. Sheet metal you dont have your friends help you because its like handling razor blades at times, you need an experienced team. They were unable to fix a several day furnace outage after three days, and walked away from the job, suggesting we needed a new furnace.Shaun came promptly at 8:00 am and had the problem diagnosed in 30 minutes. He was able to return that afternoon with the needed parts and completed the job. Plus - LCM has a maintenance agreement available too. I’m a very pleased customer.————-Update September 2024 - Mike Olague did our fall maintenance and was another excellent technical provider. He went above and beyond in servicing our garage furnace, too. I’m still impressed with LCM.
