Orlando was great at explaining why certain services were worth doing and which ones were most critical. We had a hot water leak and he was able to find and repair the leak quickly. He recommended that we replace out valves throughout the house and our water heater which were all in pretty bad shape. He was thorough and efficient, once they had all the parts Orlando and his partner finished all the work replacing the valves and water heater in just under 2 hours. Afterward he took the time to show us the work and give tips on keeping good maintenance not only for the water heater but for the new valves as well.Highly recommended, will likely be making a call to work with Orlando again for an even larger job.

Have called Barker and Sons multiple times to help deal with plumbing issues at our 1960s residence. They had the best price, service, and response / project time when it came to getting things fixed. We’ve done a complete repipe of the house, had to redo the sewer line to one side of the house, and regular maintenance repair. Each time has been a great experience working with the guys at Barker - especially Peter and Benito.

We had an emergency leak where the PVC piping connects to the copper piping near the shut off valve outside the house and after reading reviews decided to go with Barker & Sons in the Orange County area. They responded as quickly as possible and had a technician out within 4 hours. Josh R. arrived at our house and was extremely professional throughout the process. He presented multiple options to solve our issue and got to work right away, finishing the same day. He also explained what caused the issue and made it very understandable for someone who knows little to nothing about plumbing. I would highly recommend the company and would welcome Josh back out to solve other plumbing solutions any day. Will definitely be using Barker & Sons again in the future.

Our shower had a worsening leak. After several trips to Home Depot looking for parts with no luck due to the age of our shower. We gave and called a professional. I was surprised to see the technician Orlando on our door step within an hour on a Sunday.He didn’t have the parts needed to fix the old valve and recommended a full replacement. He gave a reasonable estimate and made an appointment to return in the morning between 9 and 10. He arrived on time. With everything he needed. He was done in a few hours. Orlando did a professional job and left no mess for us to clean up.Orlando had a great personality was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process in very clean terms.Thank you for a great job.10 out of 105 stars

Corey‘s work was efficient and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to get a hold of the correct valves, even though it was a very old style that was needed to fit my bathtubs handles. I contacted Barker and Sons along with many other plumbers in my area to get estimates for drain cleaning. Right off the bat they were the most professional, cordial and organized. We decided to use their services and were not disappointed. The customer service and communication was fantastic, they were very punctual, and their prices were reasonable and often better than other companies. They are very comprehensive about upcoming appointments and even send photos of the technician that will be doing the job. Shoutout to Ricky, Roberto and Ricardo for their excellent service. A special call out to Peter, truly excellent customer service skills, and Ricardo, that explained each step of the drain lining process and welcomed me to view the work being accomplished.I had drains lined, repiped, and other miscellaneous work done. Nick was great! Called them at about 5pm on a Sunday and within a couple hours Nick showed up. I received text alerts the whole way and before Nick got there they texted me a picture of him and his number. That was a great detail to their service, nice to know who is showing up. Anyway, I thought something major was wrong and literally within 5 or 10 minutes, he had the issue fixed. I felt bad that he came all the way out just for that. I will for sure use this company for any other plumbing issues.

Dec 31, 2024, during our last minute home renovations, my husband accidentally nailed through a waterline! Water was spewing everywhere! We immediately called Barker n Sons! They had an emergency team ready for the NEXT DAY: Jan 1, 2025!!! Yes, the first day of the new year Barker n Sons had people READY and WORKING! Daniel B. was our tech! The estimate was redirecting the pipelines because of so much tar to patch the puncture (house was old and pipes were a puzzle!) and various branches, it would take loads of time and materials to fix the punctured pipe. We were ready to invest time and money to fixing the punctured water pipe. Within 5 minutes, Daniel was on his knees torching, sawing, cleaning, and all sorts of other sounds of fixing and repairing. Then after 45 minutes-1 hour, Daniel came to us with AMAZING news! He fixed the puncture without having to redirect the pipes----SAVING us 6 hours of waiting with no water AND saving us thousands of dollars!!!!!!!! Daniel was hard working to fix the problem, saved us money, saved us time, AND was honest doing all the work! Thank you Daniel and Barker n Sons!!! 5 STARS!!!!

We were in the process of having a new tub/shower combo installed when we found out that our cast iron drainpipe was about 50% blocked. This had to be fixed before we could proceed with the install. I called Barker & Sons and they sent out a technician immediately. Because our pipes are old, I asked him to check out the entire house. He scoped out pipes and we found out we had problems in all the drains. Carlos was great he should us the video and explained step by step what needed to be done and thoroughly outline our options. He got the crews we needed and the work got started immediately. The entire crew was great (Carlos, Garrett, Oscar, Ricardo, Jose M, Bany and David). They kept us informed as the project proceeded and what was coming next. They were respectful of both me and my house, they were extremely clean and made sure everything was done right. I would hire them again. I wanted to do a special call out to Ricardo and Jose, they worked late on the last day to get the job done so they did not have to come back the next morning. They even mopped the bathroom floors!When my neighbor saw we hired Parker & Sons she was concerned because their commercials are not very good. Luckily their work was much better than their commercials.

They were able to send Jason that same day to assess the situation and he determined that my water pressure valve needed replacing. After they were done they ensured that everything was working properly and that my water pressure was within normal range. Ive had great experiences with Barker and Sons lately. Good pricing, great work, and they clean up their mess afterwards as well. Both Mike and Daniel have been great. They answer all your questions, and are easy to talk to. Mike did our water heater a couple weeks ago and Daniel helped us with some water leaking in the walls, new water shut off outside and new faucet in the bathroom. Would highly recommend Barker and Sons and will continue to use them for all my plumbing needs. So far have only had great experiences with their employees.

Orlando was an amazing technician. He arrived quickly at my parent’s house and was super friendly and kind. He gave us expert advice on how to solve our plumbing issue (a leaky bathtub faucet) and was very forthcoming about the different approaches to the repair. He did not try to sell us anything that we didn’t need and was honest about the process and costs associated. He then sent us 3 different estimates based on the approaches. I really appreciated his knowledge, good nature, and sincerity and would definitely call him back for any other plumbing issues.

Thanks for wasting my time.*Update* Mike called a few hours later with profuse apology and offer of $100 to mitigate my expense to have another company come out tonight. He had a couple technicians call out and some emergency jobs causing water damage. I’m a small business owner with employees I get it. I have all day maintenance on my business equipment scheduled tomorrow and relatives arriving Wed morning so I needed this problem solved today. Extraordinary gesture from Mike to offer $100. I met him halfway as I should have given his dispatcher a better reaction when she called with the bad news which I apologized for. This is a very professional, customer focused company who I will definitely call again if/when needed.

Today’s job was a follow up to my backed up drains in house last week. Good ole clog in the main line. Josh G. & Oscar came today to cut out the clogged pipe and install a “2-way clean out” as we only had access to clean themain line through the roof. Needed a better plan. Josh G & Oscar arrived on time and cheerful. Barker & Sons provided the recommendations and estimate and we agreed to the plan. Although it felt like a lot of money it was actually reasonable considering the hard work involved to jump into a 4 foot hole, cut clay pipe , replace and add the 2 clean out pipes. I’m very pleased with the work they provided and the solution for our pipes…today and in the future. The membership with them helped reduce the cost. I do recommend them and especially these two guys….ask for Josh G & Oscar!

Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the technician that came out, but I had to have my gas meter re-piped to accommodate a larger size gas meter as well as increase the size of the pipes overall. It would’ve been much easier job if the gas company could come out at the same time as the plumber however, the gas company cannot accommodate this. The situation had to be an educated guess to predict what the gas company needed exactly. Fortunately, it all seemed to come together today when the gas man replaced our meter with little hassle.

Fast, great service-scheduled the same day! Jason K diagnosed & corrected the problem of our toilet flange being incorrectly positioned & installed by the builder years ago. After other plumbers & remodel contractors tried to address the issue, the band-aid fixes eventually failed, causing leaking at the base. Jason did a great job addressing the issue, explaining our options & repairing the problem. He worked diligently and was very pleasant. Our bathroom was left spotless after he was finished. I have a 3/2. The shower/Toilet in one of the baths stopped draining, no prior issue or indication of a problem. Scary moment. My personality sent my mind directly to, $100k problem. House is going to sink into the earth.B&R came same day. The supervisor, Robert and the technician, Carlos. (The company sends a text/email alert with the member that is scheduled to arrive with their name and picture)Carlos went to work, Robert explained the process. Carlos found the issue, Robert inspected/verified Carlos’ work, and presented the options to fix the issue. After I chose how to proceed, Robert scheduled the work for the following morning.Alex arrived on time as schedule and got right to work. Robert arrived shortly after to make sure things were on the right track and then explained the expected timeline. Alex did the work and fixed the issue that same day/Saturday.The following Monday, Robert arrived to inspect the work and close out the bill. The process went exactly as stated beforehand.Note: there was a bracket which would keep the pipe from swaying if bumped which Alex did not have the material to do. Bany came that Monday morning and did that. He was great.The whole staff was fantastic. They turned a mountain into a molehill. Thanks!

Barker and Sons team--Orlando, Ivan and Bryan--were a marvel. Orlando came promptly to my call, carefully investigated the leak and its source, considered the possible options for solving it and clearly laid them out for me--no pressure. In the end, because Ive had a summer of leaks from the plumbing, I chose to repipe the entire house, which was no small endeavor. Orlando and Ivan did the plumbing, and Bryan protected the spaces and did the clean up. They finished the job in a day and a half, working constantly and carefully, and for a reasonable price. Theyre just good professionals, skillful and trustworthy, and very nice. They couldnt have done better and Im very grateful.

Nates a champ! He arrived on time and was very polite, answering all my questions about our homes water system with patience, knowledge, and depth. He explained (and demonstrated) step-by-step how to monitor water pressure and the workings of our regulator/pipe system so I can keep an eye on them in the future, catching issues that can be fixed at home or called in before they turn into catastrophies. Solid service from him and everyone else I was in contact with at Barker and Sons.*11/23/2024: Sometimes... Sometimes it seems like yall have a monopoly on great service techs. I just had Clayton come around to check a leaky bib in our garden and he was amazing. He explained everything, from what the issue was, how it happens, our options, etc. As we opted to replace the bib entirely, he took the time to talk through every step it involved and let me observe the work being done (because lets be real, welding or anything involving a blowtorch IS fun to watch). The end work and product were fab, with the bib perfectly fitted and confirmed functioning. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of it all, too. Another fantastic experience.

I had a leak in my main water line which was an older material and could not be repaired. Nate responded to the call Saturday and walked me through the process of what needed to be done which included digging a trench and using a boring machine to get under the sidewalk to the city water line. It was a difficult task and Nate gave me confidence they could do the job. Nate, Jerry and Corey showed up Monday morning and by the end of day the job was finished including cleanup. What really impressed me was Nates attention to making sure I had water until they came back on Monday to do the repair. he ran a temporary line so I was not out of service. He also noticed my water pressure was extremely high and went to get me a water regulation on Saturday so I would not have a potential problem over the weekend. Overall they were a professional and competent team. I will use them again for my plumbing needs. Thanks again guys!

Outstanding service. We had a gas leak that required the gas co to shut off our gas Friday night. We called and Clayton came out promptly Saturday morning as promised. He was courteous, professional and explained everything very throughly and showed us the problem. Our problem required tracing the line to see where they could repair the line.Clayton came back Sunday morning with more equipment, found the line and completed repairs.We were able to get the Gas comeback Sunday and we were back in business.Everything done timely and as promised.They will be our go to plumber for the future.Highly recommend

I want to express my appreciation for the awesome teams at Barker & Sons Plumbers that came to fix my plumbing when the pipes broke this week, and would greatly recommend them. From the very first contact, Barker & Sons wee professional and gave me the assurance that I would get the help I needed. Everyone on their team was refreshingly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were willing to spend time to find solutions, explain things, and show me their findings. They presented options that were fair and gave me choices based on my circumstances. The whole team was stellar, including Zach, Josh, Ricardo, Jose, Ivan, Oscar, and Luke. Zach and Josh impressed me with their ability to work through the project, and still seemed to keep me, their client, in consideration. This hard working team was devoted to getting the project done, each contributing their part well. They brought together the teams, equipment, and resources needed to complete the project immediately. To.me, they were like angels with plumbing gear. And they did have some neat techy tools that made the work seamless and quick. They installed some new pipe and then lined the entire remaining houses waste pipes out all the way to the street connection in one day. Incredibly, in addition to this, they generously took on fixing my door knob, just to be helpful. Ivan did an awesome job installing it after Zach purchased it. I am very grateful to then for this thoughtfulness and assistance. In 3.5 days, they completely restored my waste pipes which will be good for decades. They proved that they are ready and capable to handle a lot on short notice, and from start to finish, they went above and beyond. Thank you.

Daniel came through for us again. When he came to our home a few months ago, I had already purchased a faucet to replace the one that was broken. Our kitchen is older and it was difficult to find a faucet that could even be installed. I didn’t love it, but it we would at least have a faucet. Daniel asked a few questions, then started researching faucets in France. He found our faucet! The faucet took a few months to be delivered. Daniel came today, the faucet was delivered with no instructions on installing it. Once in, the faucet would not work. Daniel figured out what was wrong, took his time, took it apart and got it working. He was a joy to work with. If you need any plumbing work done, you need to call Baker and Sons! Had a gas leak on our water heater and am I glad that we found Barker & Sons Plumbing. Our tech Orlando did great and was upfront which I appreciate. We didn’t feel pressured that we HAD to buy a new water heater and he gave us many options with a price range. We choose to go forward with the new heater and installation was fast and they left it nice and clean for us after. We highly recommend using their services.Edit: it has been 4 months since our posting and several techs have coming out to help us with various problems while still providing us gold standard work and treatment every time. From Garett, Jerry and Ricardo doing an excellent job epoxying our pipes to Corey helping us out with a little leak, all of Barkers guys know their stuff and are great people.

Above expectations! This was a major sewer line repair/replacement. Orlando and his crew worked in brutal heat 10-12 hours a day for 3+ days excavating and replying two sewer lines then on the 4th day relining the remaining sewer lines. Alway courteous and consciences of the home and occupants. Cleaned up daily and completed the job in a timely manner. Good plumbers are hard to find and not cheap! I feel I got excellent value and a great job done right. P.S Sammy and Julian and the rest of the team were top notch. Sammy dont forget your hat ,)

The bathroom sink drain in my 1950’s house was completely backed up. Josh R came on the same day that I called to fix the problem. I thought it was just an easy fix but Josh had to unsuccessfully insert his equipment several times to remove the blockage. A section of the drywall was cut, the cast iron T was removed and replaced with plastic T followed by a mini jet of the drain line. A video camera inspection was done. It showed issues like scale buildup through the years and underground tree root problems. What followed was hydro jetting and sewer relining which I have to say was quite expensive but I am relieved by the high expectation that I won’t ever have drainage issues again.Josh R was a very nice person to work with, professional, courteous, clean, explained what was happening to me in detail, and very patient with me with all my questions.As if my drainage problem was not enough, my tankless water heater broke down at the same time. Josh R did an excellent job in fixing it too, installing isolation and temperature and pressure relief valves that my tankless water heater did not have.I’d like to give a big shout out to the rest of the team: Alex, Zachary (video camera inspection) Bryan (very neat and outstanding drywall repair), Ricardo and Josh C (hydro jetting and relining).Thank you for a job well done. Will recommend your company highly.

He figured out the problem and fixed it when another plumber service who came out couldnt help me. I would highly recommend Nate and Barker and Sons plumbing. They were a little bit more expensive than I was expecting but they were very transparent about pricing once the problem was fully diagnosed. Our kitchen sink filled up with water and would not drain. We called Barker and Sons to come out. It was late but Tony made a stop for us and tried to snake the drain. It got blocked so they came back the following day to hydrojet the pipe. That cleared it but with the camera we could see the damage in the iron pipes. It was so easy for them to add epoxy to the inside wall of the iron pipes and completely solve the problem for us. Tony came back and installed our new garbage disposal at no charge. If you have iron pipes epoxy is the way to go even though it is extremely pricey. Not going to lie its over $5,000. But they gave us a 10-year warranty and peace of mind. Tony and the entire team including Garrett gave us five-star service. I recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Julian and Robert did an amazing job clearing our blocked drain. Julian was first to arrive. He was professional, polite, and efficient. He made cleanliness and clear communication priorities as he first explained what steps he would be taking to attempt to unclog our drains, what the cost would be, and what all would be included in the cost including the drain camera. Then he cleared the drain!!! Yay! Robert then arrived, assessed Julian’s good work and explained he would be feeding the camera down our pipes. Robert was also very professional and polite. He very clearly explained what he found, used clear analogies to explain what could happen in the future, and stated he and Julian would provide a summary of the work completed and futures options to flush the pipes. Our bathroom sink was backed up which caused the facet under the sink to leak. Originally, we made a call to our home warranty company and the vendor they sent out said that we needed to do a clean out and wanted to charge an excessive amount of money which we said no. I found Barker and Sons Plumbing online to diagnose and unclog our drain. I was able to get an appointment the same day and the technician Chris was wonderful and did a great job in diagnosing and explaining the issue. He fixed the problem quickly. He then called his partner Roberto to put a camera down the pipes to make sure there wasnt anything else. We were able to see the calcium buildup and they provided with various options to prevent future issues. Both of them were very professional, friendly, and cleaned the area before they left. They did an awesome job explaining everything.

This company was great. Within 2 hours of calling with my busted water heater emergency they had Nate come out to inspect the damage. This was all in the late afternoon. Nate dated my WH to 1998! The next morning, Nate and Bany installed the new and then lugged up the old. This was on a steep grassy slope down about theee stories, in the heat! They gave me a good price, high quality and installed within 24 hours of me calling. Amazing!

I recently called Barker and Sons Plumbing & Rooter to help with a small plumbing emergency. I had a small leak from a damaged valve that occurred near the end of the workday (around 4pm). I called a variety of plumbers, left a few messages, and the only one that actually helped me was Barker and Sons. I called at least five, and none of the others even responded. It took a little while for their plumber to arrive but they did a good job of keeping me in the loop regarding when I should expect help to arrive. Clayton was the plumber that arrived to fix the problem. He was personable, professional, and very helpful. I was very satisfied with his work and professionalism. Based on my excellent experience Ill definitely contact Barker and Sons if I need any plumbing help again in the future.

Our whole house was backed up. Barker & Son answered our call and sent out a technician, Zachary within a few hours, Zach scoped the problem, showed me video of the blockage and gave me an estimate for three different solution and their estimated price and described in detail the costs, benefits, warrantee, etc. Once I made my selection, work began immediately by other technicians, Carlos and Luke who dug the hole exposing the clean-out. Then Jose and Ricardo installed the sleeve and finally Luke and Bany filled the hole and replaced the artificial turf without a hitch. The entire crew were extremely considerate, knowledgeable and articulate. It was my best experience in dealing with plumbers over the last 50 years. Clayton was awesome! He is very detailed oriented, great personality, provides excellent customer service. Problem is Barker & Sons over commit their employees. I feel Clayton had more than one job assigned to him. If Barker & Sons is going to do re-plumbing, they need to do better project Management. Create a division that does only re-plumbing. Teams of no less than 3, each with a special task assigned to them at the job. The team should include a patch/drywall team. We were told (& I know from another experience) job would take 3-4 days. Its been 14 days and job is still not complete.

Our favorite plumber is James Kelly of Barker and Sons Plumbing. This time, we had purchased a rather expensive European bathroom faucet. In attempting to install it, James discovered that the associated hoses were incompatible with U.S. standards. He sought help from the local dealer, but could not find anyone there too helpful. After calling several people who James thought might have knowledge of what he might do immediately so he could complete the job he had begun without waiting to obtain new parts at some later date. He finally was able to solve this dilemma and finish the installation the some day. James is impressive in that he is always very tenacious in pursuing a plumbing solution where others might give up.

Last night we discovered water leaking from the ceiling near our family room. It was a continuous stream. We thought a pipe burst in the ceiling that lead to a bathroom. After turning off the water we called Barkers and Son. They were able to send a senior technician, James Kelley. He was phenomenal. It turned out it was not the pipe but after investigating the situation determined the leak was from the bathroom in the master bathroom. He removed the toilet, changed out the cracked rings and resealed it. We are back in business. He was patient and took his time to determine the root cause. He was professional and extent knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I highly recommended him and the Barker and Son Plumbing company. I used them multiple times and have always had great experiences.

I had a plumbing problem and was unable to get an appointment with my usual plumber. On the recommendation of a friend I decided to try Barker. They were able to schedule me right away. When James came to our home he listened intently to our description of the problem and went right to work. After some troubleshooting he identified the problem. He was able to quickly tell us what was wrong in understandable terms and also what the exact cost would be. I can say that while Barker may not be the cheapest plumber available I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The work was done expeditiously including cleanup and the problem was solved. The entire staff from scheduling to worker to follow up are friendly and really care about solving your problem. I strongly recommend them (and especially James Kelley) for any plumbing work that you may need done. I will certainly use them in future.
