Great experience all around. Ricky called to discuss with me what I needed done and quoted me a price before we met up at the property. Once there he told me again what he was going to do and got right to work. The house was vacant and he prepared it for winter. I was very satisfied with the service provided by Ricky and Mr Rooter.

Called with a clogged toilet line issue in a bathroom, and they were able to come out after lunch and got my issue resolved. Garret was a very polite and professional young man. He was methodical in his approach to evaluating the issue up front so as to insure the proper form of service was applied and provided the cost for approval before starting the work. He even cleaned up the tub where some water had backed up into it during my attempts to unstop the blockage. 100% satisfied with their service from Bobbi the receptionist who booked my service to Garret who came and performed it. Will definitely use them again.

Called Mr. Rooter Amarillo as my HWH has leaked and there was standing water in the pan. Its a 14 year old gas HWH and they do have a lifespan.The plumber that arrived was Ricky and he was on time, polite, in uniform and ready to take a look.I am a renter and my landlord has the final seal of approval.Ricky, came in, assessed the situation, told us the process, gave us a price and my landlord chose to get a 2nd estimate. Which, isnt the end of the world and I think well end up with Mr.Rooter but I dont get to make the call on it. I will say, they did show up in less than 24 hours and were willing to come the same day as my call but I had a scheduling conflict.At the end of the day we havent selected a plumber to do the job, yet as the landlord wants 3 estimates. Which isnt unreasonable. Getting other plumbers out to do an estimate can be frustrating as only 1 other in town has returned the call.I do think Ricky was informed and knowledgeable and prompt and could not have asked for better service. I will let you know if we chose them to do the HWH replacement.

Within two hours of my call, Gage, a drain specialist, arrived at my address. Gage was very kind, and professional. He assessed the situation and started working to remedy the problem. He performed the drain cleaning services, and diagnosed the problem was in the city main. He was 100% correct in his diagnosis, and the city was contacted and came to clear the main in the alley. Ive used Mr. Rooter several times and have always been very impressed with every plumber they send out. Theyre courteous, as they remove their shoes or slip covers on to protect my floors. They placed a mat down under the area they were working as to not cause a mess or damage to my floor while working with heavy machinery. We had to have new sewer drains placed they took care of it promptly and left me very happy with the work they did. Every time I call the office staff is quick to respond and takes care of my all my needs. Plus their red vans and logos look awesome!!

I dont have a complaint about the workers or the staff. They were super friendly, respectful, and hardworking. In fact, I LOVED them, and I would probably still recommend them to others, but I do feel like this recent project was botched and Im the one paying heavily for it.When I received the quote for the $18,000+ tunneling and yard line, I knew that if there was extra tunneling needed, I would need to pay for it. However, I didnt know (until they had dug the initial tunnel under my house) that when they said whole house tunneling on the quote, that somehow didnt include my bathtub (one of my main issue areas, so I had to add it, which I feel like they knew I would have to do from past plumbing calls from me that they had expertly handled). I also didnt know that this 3 days max job would become 3 weeks. If I had know before that this would ultimately add $7000 to my total cost, which will take me 3 more years than was expected to pay off, I definitely would not have started this to begin with and just sold the house as is.Unfortunately, right now, Im wondering if the discrepancy between what was quoted me and what was charged me is something I need to put in a formal customer complaint. I FULLY appreciate their hard work and their positive attitudes throughout a difficult project, but a clearer, itemized estimate would have helped me make the best financial decision for me, and I dont want anyone else to lose money to pay for actions that they feel were already included in the quote price.

Update on Mr. Rooter:My mother-in-law had plumbing issues Thanksgiving weekend. Mr. Rooter was on site before noon on Friday. The visiting relatives were able to enjoy their time without having to worry about using the toilet. I have been using, and recommending, Mr. Rooter for better than 10 years and they have remained consistent the entire time, excellent & professional service at a fair price.Agggggh! Discovered we had no hot water after 8:00 last night. We have a tankless water heater so that added to our dilemma. I called Mr. Rooter and within an hour I received a call from Jonathan who said he was on his way. Fortunately, Jonathan knows about tankless water heaters. Jonathan determined the problem was with an automatic shutoff due to a leak. He was able to get us working again so I had a hot shower this morning. Parts have been ordered to prevent this from happening again. Oh, and he told me how I could fix a squealing kitchen sink faucet myself. Score!

I had a pipe crack with the last big freeze and called a different company the next day. This other company started the work, then told me they would come back the next day to finish, but wouldnt be able to give me an estimate until then. After he left, I got a call telling me they dont work on manufactured homes.So I called Mr Rooter and Johnathan came out. He spent more time under the house to determine the problem and gave me a reasonable estimate. Then completed the job. When checking another leak, he discovered a much bigger problem that we hadnt seen and he tried to correct it as well. Unfortunately, to completely fix it, hell have to come back again with an extra charge, but the quote for this part is not bad, and understandable since it is beyond the scope of the first job.Before he left, Johnathan also put my skirting back on that the last plumber had removed and left off!Very friendly even though he got soaked and muddy under my house.Ill be using this company for all my future issues.

On a late sunday afternoon Mr Rooter plumber, Mr Sandoval, gladly came to my rescue to repair a broken turn off knob and water line breakage on the hot water side of a bathroom lavatory. We finally got the water turned off to the water heater but had a 15-30 minute ordeal with flowing water flooding the bathroom floor. Came here on a Sunday morning when my faucet fell off and hose extension slipped all the way to the cabinet floor. The man was kind, professional, and punctual. He easily was able to get the hose extension back in the faucet neck. He could only do a temporary fix on the faucet head itself. I will have to buy a new unit eventually, but there was no charge for this. Prior to this visit, I had another company look at the problem. They charged me $69 just for coming out, and the man did not even try to get the hose extension back in. He just wanted to sell me a new faucet system, a new soft water system, and a club membership all for over $3000. Needless to say, I will always use Mr. Rooter from now on.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Amarillo performs excellent work. In October 2019, Sean and his assistant came to perform a reroute of the water piping that was leaking under the slab. They had a plan for the reroute when they arrived. When the reroute encountered an obstacle, Sean had a good proposal as to how to work around that obstacle. The reroute went well and Sean kept me informed throughout the process of what was occurring. The portions of drywall were removed in a manner so that it was easy to make repairs to the walls. In addition, the repair has a five year warranty, which provides peace of mind. Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Amarillo should be consulted and considered for any plumbing work a homeowner might require.
