Outstanding Service and Rapid ResponseWe had an unexpected issue with our air conditioning system on a Friday evening in July, right when the summer heat was at its peak. York Mechanical Services came to our rescue with their outstanding service. Despite it being the weekend, a technician arrived within a few hours of our call, quickly diagnosing that our system had lost all its coolant due to a ruptured line. Given the severity of the issue, we were worried that the repairs would take weeks, especially since we needed a complete system replacement.However, we were pleasantly surprised by the speed and efficiency of York Mechanical. John, the owner, provided us with a fair and transparent quote first thing Monday morning. Despite initially expecting a week or two for the parts to arrive, the team returned on Wednesday and worked diligently over the next few days, completing the installation by Friday.Given the complexity of the job and the size of our three-story colonial home, the turnaround time was remarkably quick. The top floor, which gets unbearably hot, was cool and comfortable again by the weekend, which we greatly appreciated. The work was completed exactly as promised and even ahead of schedule.York Mechanical Services went above and beyond to expedite our repair, providing us with top-notch service at a fair price. We couldnt be happier with the outcome and highly recommend them for their professionalism, reliability, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Our furnace went out in our home and York Mechanical Services came out the same day to take a look at it. They went above and beyond to help us get our furnace back up and running. They even traveled far to get the part we needed to be able to have heat the same day. I am so pleased with their timeliness and their compassion on helping us get our furnace working so that we wouldnt freeze. I will forever be a customer of theirs! Cant thank these guys enough.

He also has excellent communication skills, as he answered my questions and addressed my concerns. He even followed up to see how everything was working. I’ve been working with York mechanical for the last three days replacing a 30-year-old air conditioner and 30-year-old oil furnace with a new AC unit/heat pump in a 100 year old house. I can’t recommend these guys enough. They were hard at work the entire time.

John has gone above and beyond the standard to get us the highest quality and most efficient system for a price that is well below the market standard. I called my home warranty company because I had seen water leaking down into my basement, they sent this company out to diagnose the problem. The repairman figured out right away what was wrong but also in doing that found some other things that were in dire need of repair. He went and purchased parts and repaired everything very quickly and efficiently and the cost was very fair! I would highly recommend them.

Also while fixing the one problem we came across another issue which could have resulted in a major problem. I had Neffsville Plumbing & Heating out to my house because I thought I had a gas leak they went over my system and completely missed it they were to worried about selling my other services and a hot water heater then finding the leak. John From YORK MECHANICAL SERVICES was awesome he triple checked my stuff and ended up finding a little micro leak and fixed it definitely recommend.

I have a home warranty through First American, with whom York Mechanical is one of the companies that has been contracted for service claims over the years. I have always been more than pleased with their service, so much so that I not only request their service through the home warranty when possible, but I have also had them come do non-warranty related work. They have always been professional, courteous, and punctual. Theyre a smaller company, which I personally prefer, and as a small business owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to juggle so many hats with so few hands, though Ive never experienced any negative service from them. Ive had other companies contracted through the home warranty to do work, but non have compared to the service provided and received by this company. I now live on the west coast and am grateful to have them in my corner to take care of my property in Southern York County, for which my tenants have also been more than pleased with their service. I ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone and everyone within their service area to use this company!!!

I have dealt with YORK MECHANICAL several times in regards to my American Home Shield policy and have received excellent service and repair. I recommend them, and also a word of advice , they have a few techs, if you’re not happy with the service of a particular tech request someone else. I did this one time and the next tech they sent out was very knowledgeable. It happens and no company is perfect but this company does work with you.

I cant imagine a situation that would warrant anything less than 5 stars for this company. York Mechanical Services has been nothing short of Rockstar for us theyre professional, prompt courteous. We needed their services on 3 separate occasions 3 different issues they came through when they said they would and did exactly what was needed. Our insurance company appointed a different company that showed up late, very unconcerned and seemed almost bothered (understandable with the recent strom). We told the insurance compa,ny we wanted York Mechanical Services and everything got taken care of. This our one stop shop for all our AC, HVAC, sump pump all of the above. Keep up the Great Work!!!!

Used them through 2-10 warranty and was a relatively smooth process. Knowledgeable people and were able to have the initial inspection and blower motor installed within a week (during the hottest point of the summer). They also checked the rest of the system to make sure nothing else was going to fail soon. Big downside was the 8-4 window of arrival.

York Mechanical Service scheduled an appointment with me and I was able to track them on the way to my house, I was able to see them stop at Rutters. Probably for a snack. When they got here I was able to see the truck pull into the driveway. I made them put on shoe covers and mask because you never know where they have been other than Rutters, The helper put his tool bag down and my kids wanted to play with the tools the helper moved the tools, and didnt let my kids have any fun. Saying what if they get a razor knife out. They did fix the problem quickly and seem very polite. Turns out it was my dog chewed thru the wires at the furnace. The dog has problem with chewing the helper gave him a doggie treat. That was really cool just wish he had something for my kids.

They have been working with us for over a year. The owner is honest and works with you. We had a new HVAC system installed this year due to our house having an old one when we bought it last year. He even installed the wiring for our spa and was very reasonable. Then this summer for a few days we noticed it wasn’t blowing cold air. We need more vents for out take but he found a quick solution and saved us money. Highly recommended. Yes they can be busy but they don’t ignore you. The owner and his employees are hard workers and very knowledgeable. I have learned the home owners warranty are cheap and never want to fix the problem. We are a polar bear family... we like it cold.A few years ago, we needed a new/stronger AC system and didnt know where to go. A friend recommended York Mechanical Services to us. York Mechanical installed our new unit and have been servicing it, along with our heating system, ever since. We were so happy with the install and the power of the unit, that we used York Mechanical for other jobs. The owner even came out on a few occasions to talk about maintenance, and help with emergency services. Overall, I find it extremely stressful finding new service companies for our home needs – its nice to have at least one go-to place to just call and schedule, without having to worry if they are going to do a good job or overcharge.

These guys are awesome ,but wish they wouldnt give a time frame like Comcast . for instance we will arrive between 8-12 especially when you have to take off work, and they dont get finished so you need a second day
