We worked with Nick who helped us remove and replace our old water heater that had burst. The work was done very quickly. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Nick gave us options on where we could save on costs by getting things on our own. He also gave us lots of tips and advice. I would highly recommend working with him. We also have had the pleasure of working with Amar who helped us with the mitigation process where he removed our carpets, set up a dehumidifier, and used anti microbial spray to help with mold. He is also very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend working with Amar as well.

Ask for Freddy ( Fairfax/ PWC) 2nd time he came within 30 days. He is like a detective, will find source of problem and find the most cost effective way to fix it. He is polite, patient, thorough, efficient, cleans up afterwards. The best part is he doesn’t try to scare you because you have an older home and sell you a bunch of stuff you don’t need. He just does a great job solving the problem at a fair price.

David showed up right on time & got to work immediately. I had a slow running / partially clogged shower drain on a house built in 1905. As hard as he tried, he was unable to get the snake to follow the drain pipe. It is cast iron & probably has 90 degree angle before it heads to the street. (They don’t do that anymore) It’s so old that it may change over to clay pipe on its way to the street. It appears that because of its age, the entire drain pipe will have to be dug up & replaced. David left very frustrated that he could not clear the drain, and did not charge anything for his effort. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter!

The two guys that came to my house were on time, polite, professional, and efficient. They reviewed the job and provided a free estimate based on their price book which was important to me. I never do business with a contractor without getting two or three counter bids so free estimates are a requirement for me. After reviewing the scope of work and the estimated price I agreed to the service. They began right away, wore little boot covers while indoors, and completed the job to my satisfaction. The price was a little high but when compared to the companies that wanted to charge me 60 - 80 bucks just to tell me what it would cost to replace a toilet flange I am glad I chose RotoRooter.

I cant say enough good things about the second tech that came out to our house. We had issues with our toilets and it was causing back-ups in our tubs/showers. We placed a call early Saturday morning and had an appointment for a few hours later. The first guy came and there was some definite broken communication. I was not comfortable having him continue his work so I placed a call to Rotor-Rooter again. I had to wait a few hours to speak to a manager (Steven) and we discussed what was going on. He recommended a new guy to come out and investigate the issue but he said this guy wouldnt be available until the next day. I asked if this guy knew what he was doing and was told if Steven needed work done and couldnt do it himself, hed call this guy. This guys name was Nick. He came out around the time we were told to expect him. He looked around and got to the bottom of the issue and fixed it all. We are just waiting on the dry wall to be done now. Nick was caring and understanding. He was friendly with our kids. He was knowledgeable and explained all the issues and just made things less stressful. There was a few things I would do differently with the company as a whole, but I will be requesting Nick as our tech from now on.

Arturo came promptly to help us deal with a terrible plumbing emergency. He was courteous, respectful, and very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him. He is also a very honest person who did not try to up-sell us on unnecessary services. He provided information so we could make informed decisions and did not try to push services we didnt care to receive. This service was done during typical business hours, but our insurance company told us that the cost was very high and wondered if it was a night/weekend or holiday call. They said the typical cost for the camera investigation option is around $300, we paid $589, so the company charges quite a bit more than other providers. For that reason, I only give them a 4 out of 5 stars. Cost should be competitive, and we didnt have time to call around under the circumstances. The only thing I would add is this, make sure your doors and gates are secure at the end of a service call. I had indicated how important this was because one of rescue dogs is an adventurer who will run if she gets out. After the call was finished and papers were all signed, my daughter put the dog out, not able to see that the gate had been left open from the doorway, and the dog ran. Fortunately we were able to quickly find her and she didnt get out onto the busy road, but it could have been tragic. That was something that could easily happen, and we all should have been more careful, but I mention it to hopefully protect others from a terrible potential accident that could easily be avoided.

After our ceiling started to leak, I frantically called around to find someone to help us. I called Michael and Sons, and FH Furr, both claim they have 24 hour service. However, was not able to get anyone to come out. Then it came to me to call Rooter Rooter, was so pleased when they told me someone will be out in 45min. The servicer, Donavan arrived in no time. What a awesome young man. He is professional, friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. File this under “you get what you pay for.” While they weren’t the cheapest, by far, they were the most capable. I’ve had three plumbers clear our clogged drain over the years and they are the only ones who took the time to explain things to me, outline options, and guarantee their work! Omar and David were the service techs on the job and they were highly professional. Left the site cleaner than when they started. Highly recommend.

For the past week or so, our kitchen sink has been plugged up and no amount of Drano has worked. Cesar from Roto-Rooter came out today exactly when they said he would, and fixed our issue in a snap. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, cleanly, and was great around the kids too! Overall, wonderful experience! Its nice to find a company and folks who arent just there because its a job. Would highly recommend! :-D

Very happy with service. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day at a time that worked for me. The technician, Henry G., arrived as scheduled. He was very polite and professional. Used booties before walking on my carpet. Explained the problem well and gave me the price before he started the job. Completed the job and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely use again for our plumbing needs.
