From Bill Jr. coming out to survey my site and needs personally, to John and Andrew doing an amazing job of completing the work, and minimum down time to my operations; I cant adequately express how satisfied I am with the service. They are truly Master Electricians! For my particular needs (an outside 50amp and 20amp outlet), they provided thorough, honest, and reasonable solutions to my needs. Bill came in and gave a very knowledgeable quote and was able to point out concerns that would have put me in a very difficult position had I have gone with a different company. He was able to offer alternatives and set me up with exactly what I needed for my house for now. The crew that came in were incredible did the job quickly professionally and left me with exactly what I asked for. Even in a difficult situation where they had to fit something into a shallow wall kept any drywall cuts or anything to a bare minimum.When I finally have the ability to remodel in the future, Ill definitely be reaching out for the final things I wanted done that couldnt be done now!

I contacted Root Electric Services to get an estimate for a partial power outage. When Mr. Root called me he said based on what he understood about my situation that it was most like the fault of the power company and I should contact them first as there would be no charge for that. So, I did and he was correct and I appreciated his honesty up front. He could have just dispatched a team, charged me for their service, only to have them tell me it was an external problem. So his honesty and integrity is very much appreciated. The other company I called was ready to dispatch their team right away and did not bother to alert me. I am glad I waited for Mr. Root to respond before I called anyone in. I would certainly recommend Root Electric Services. Thank you.

Just had a great experience with Root Electric. The two technicians, John and Casey, were very professional and experienced. Work went smoothly and was completed in a timely manner. They even replaced a light switch in the kitchen that had failed recently at no additional cost! Work completed was installation of a circuit breaker sub panel so I can power key circuits with a portable generator during outages, a common occurrence in my neighborhood. The entire process, from project description to payment, was painless. Fair prices as well, and the technicians arrived early for the appointment. I will definitely be calling Root Electric again for my future electrical projects or emergencies.

I needed an technician to replace my outside laundry room light) so I called Root Electric, texted them a picture of the current light, They gave me an estimate and scheduled a day and time for someone to come out and replace it. Root electric got the replacement light. The guys showed up on time, replaced the light, made sure it worked, wrote up a ticket for me. The amount was right on the estimate. Yesterday had Root Electric install an EV charger in my garage. They showed up at the appointment time and completed the installation in less than the estimated time. All the work was done as per the prior walk-through and at the original estimate. Loved the fact there were no surprises and the work was done professionally and the work area was very clean upon completion. Their pricing was also in line with other bids I had received for the same work.Several years ago I used them to install new pendant lighting in kitchen. I happily give them highest rating and will continue to call them with any future electrical needs.

I hired Root Electric to restore electricity in two bedrooms and my dining room outlets in my older home in Arlington. Bryan analyzed my issue very quickly and let me know exactly what needed to be done and why. The project consisted of a partial rewire as the original wiring from the 1940s had deteriorated. Bryan and his team quickly took care of the problem as scheduled with the utmost professionalism. I could not be happier with Root Electric and will certainly be using them for any future electrical issues. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially those who own an older home in the area.

Losing power in the middle of a hot summer is horrible. Our main breaker failed in the late afternoon. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I called Root Electric the next morning. I highly recommend Root Electric. We initially hired them to install ceiling fan/light combos in our children’s rooms. Previously the rooms had no overhead lights, and my kids had had to rely on table lamps. We live in an older town house, and to get the upper level/third floor comfortable and cool enough in the summer, we’d have to crank the AC up, which resulted in the lower level rec room being super cold. I have to say the early returns from both my children are great. The overhead dimmable light provides plenty of light for them, and that fan helps keep them cool. Brandon and Noah of Root electric were timely, professional, and respectful of our home. They completed the job with no disruption and left no trace that they had been there! My only regret is that we didn’t do this earlier before the kids’ virtual learning started.Bill Root, Jr. came out the same day to speak with us and to provide us estimates concerning several other electrical projects we were considering. We appreciated this personal touch and Bill was informative and answered all of our questions honestly. We were so impressed that we hired Bill’s team to come out a week later to install recessed lighting in our living room (eight lights total). As with the bedrooms, there was no overhead light fixture, and we had to rely on the ambient lighting from the adjoining dining room chandelier as well as some light bars I placed behind the flat screen TV.Prior to the day of the job, Bill sent a detailed proposal with the caveat that to properly install the recessed lights (eight of them), there was a possibility drywall would need to be cut, and that drywall repair was not included within the scope of the proposal. We understood this, and started looking for drywall team to patch up the holes.On the day of the job, John and Andrew from Root Electric showed up five minutes earlier than the stated time. As with Noah and Brandon the week before, John and Andrew were extremely professional and respectful of our house, and explained how they would go about measuring the lights. They placed patterns on the ceiling allowing my wife and I to see and approve where the lighting would be placed. We let them get to work, but before they started, John told us he might not have to cut any holes in the drywall. Our living room is not a perfect rectangle, as it narrows on one end due to a bulkhead. Well, this bulkhead turned out to be our saving grace. The electricians were able to thread the wiring up and through an electrical switch on the opposite side of the bulkhead. It was tough going and at one point they thought they might have to cut at least one hole on the side of the bulkhead, but they didn’t give up and were bale to get all the necessary wiring through the opening. My wife and I were extremely happy with the final product (as well as the fact no holes needed to cut, saving us money on the back end!).We’re extremely satisfied with the work Root Electric did for us, and will be reaching out to them again when we decide to add recessed lighting to our kitc

Great service! I had worked performed in the bathroom to remove a baseboard heater, cap off the wires, replace and install a fan light combo unit with independent switch legs. They also installed a new outlet dedicated for power tools in the garage, which involved installing new wire from the basement panel box. Root Electric has done a lot of work at my house. When I renovated my kitchen, Bill did all the electrical work and upgraded my service panel. The inspector commented about what a great job he had done. He most recently installed a couple of outdoor circuits for my outdoor lighting and added additional recessed lighting in my kitchen area.Bill is of extremely good character and highly competent. I cant recommend anyone more highly than Root Electric. I fact, they will be doing work on my daughters house and additional work on my house.
