Anthony and MJ came to our townhouse to swap out an existing ceiling light fixture, do brand new wiring and installation for three new ceiling light fixtures, and replace six hardwired smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. They arrived within the scheduled time frame, took care to move and cover our furniture and personal belongings, did a great job on the installations (very thoughtful about minimizing drywall patching difficulty and visibility, also about where light switches and such would be), and cleaned up after themselves. All of this work done at a very reasonable cost. Thank you for helping us make our home look brighter and more cheerful!

What a gem!After researching local electricians in the NOVA area, we found CoreTrade Electric. We needed three ceiling fans (two were high-ceiling with downrods) and several interior ceiling & exterior light fixtures replaced.Anthony came to the house and left a very competitive estimate following a walk-thru. We later scheduled the work, which was also handled by Anthony. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. On top of that, the only clues of his work after he left were the new fans/lights!CoreTrade (and Anthony) is now in our contact list because of our experience. If you need an electrician, CoreTrade should be your only phone call.

I interviewed a few electricians before settling on CoreTrade. John was the only one that showed up and took notes on what I wanted done. We’ve done a full kitchen gut and remodel. I had mapped out what electrical work I wanted done. It involved everything from new outlets and lights to grounding (previously ungrounded) receptacles. He provided some advice based on his experience, which was appreciated. The quote he provided covered everything I asked for. The guy that didn’t take notes didn’t remember all the work I wanted done. Because we were doing most of the remodel ourselves there were several months in between the start and finish of the electrical work. John and crew were very accommodating. Our house is old and it wasn’t easy work. The price was very reasonable. Every time they showed up when they said they would. John was very helpful overall. There was a point when one of the installers was making claims about the electrical and John came by that day to look. He confirmed that the electrical was done right and explained how the installer needed to work around it.

I couldn’t be happier with the job that CoreTrade Electric Co. did. They installed two 20-amp outlets for 1500-watt heaters on the back patio of my townhouse, plus a dedicated breaker panel for the two heaters. The installations were perfectly placed, obviating extension cords, with the wiring cleverly concealed. They also replaced a faulty light switch in our kitchen. The technicians wore masks whenever they moved through our house and showed up when they said they would. Highest rating in every regard.
