Great experience with JAB and Son Services, specifically electrician Miguel. Always on time and professional, and always cleaned up after the job. I had him install a new electric box and make multiple improvements to bring everything up to code. Reasonably priced, no complaints whatsoever. We also got recessed lighting installed, bad wiring replaced, new switches, new outlets, and an attic fan. All work was done surprisingly quickly, but always correctly. These guys work and know what they are doing, will always be my first call for any home improvement project.

I highly recommend JAB and Son for timely, efficient and professional electrical services at a very reasonable price. I initially requested an estimate to replace an existing ceiling fan with light on a 12 foot ceiling and received an initial response within about 15 minutes. After further consultation to better understand the scope of work, I received a very reasonable estimate. Scheduling a day and time with Abraham was very easy and they arrived promptly at the agreed to time. Abraham and his assistant were very professional in every way and the end result exceeded my expectations. I also received valuable advice from Abraham before the install on the intended job and while he was there, on some other electrical issues which I will be sure to use JAB and Son Services in the future.

He quickly diagnosed the problem, made a reasonable offer to dothe work, and then fixed the problems in our circuit box and the wiring to keep the circuit from overheating and shutting down our air conditioner. He also fixed a couple of problems in a light switch and the socket for our dryer, for a modest additional fee. I heartily recommend Abraham / JAB & Son for electrical work. Five stars.

JAB and Son Services were terrific! They arrived around 9a and finished around 11a. He hooked up my attic fan to my phone, and I can monitor the temperature in the Attic. Its been thirty minutes post-installation, and its already a lot cooler on the third level of my townhome.In addition, I inquired about a floating fireplace install, price was reasonable, Abraham and his team spent all day insuring all wiring was correctly done and drywall was patched and repainted. I am extremely pleased with his work! He can do everything!

Exceptional service! We just moved to Arlington and brought our washer and dryer, but the wall outlet was 3-prong and our dryer was 4-prong. Desperate to do laundry, I found Jab & Son on Yelp. Abraham responded right away. I called Monday and he fit me in for a Wednesday appointment—amazing. Text messages alerted me to his arrival. He was very professional, wore shoe covers, and provided an exact estimate—which I felt was very reasonable. The work was done quickly and neatly. He uses a tablet to send a receipt and accepts credit cards. I could not be happier to have my washer and dryer back! Thank you!

Not the cheapest but the work he does is far and above better than anyone I’ve ever had do electrical repairs at my home! His level of professionalism is second to none. I have hired many contractors in my life and Abraham is on the short list of those I sincerely trust. I hired a less expensive guy when we first moved to Northern Virginia, but the other guy’s workmanship and professionalism paled in comparison to Abraham’s. Every job Abraham has done for us has been done expertly and on time. We initially had him out to run electricity to our new double oven, but since that time he has also inspected electrical work that was done by a contractor we had to fire, and brought all that electrical work up to code, moved an outlet and a switch, fixed an outlet, and installed new recessed lighting in the basement. Our next jobs he will be out to do soon will be a ceiling fan installation in our family room and the installation of a new light fixture in our basement.If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s to let those qualified in areas like electricity make all electrical improvements to your home. Don’t skimp on things like electrical jobs that need to be done right. Don’t hire a handyman to do jobs that require the work of a certified master electrician. Bite the bullet and spend the little bit of extra money you need to in order to have it done right the first time, instead of cutting corners that can put your life and the lives of your loved ones at risk.
