The technician from JAR Services did an excellent job installing our ceiling fan in our living room. He even provided a very suitable wall switch solution to a fan design shortcoming. The work was done in a fairly efficient amount of time given the technical operation issue discovered during installation.

He recommended I get LED panels instead of my original idea of just getting LED bulbs, he was absolutely correct in his recommendation! Im not one to write reviews; however after working with Josue and his team at JAR Services, a 5 star review was nothing but well-deserved. From Josues back office staff to his field Team, figuring & solutioning (an entirely new main power line to my house into the originally placed core power panel, re-location of a previously placed meter and the installation of an entirely new disconnect to the property) in close coordination with Dominion Power & Fairfax County turned out to be a very streamlined process. Josues attention to detail, incredible customer service, and daily coordination across the board got the job done likely as fast as such a job could have been accomplished. Likewise, not only did Josue drive the job to completion, he did so while exceeding expectations across the board. From the customer service, cross-team coordination and quality of all work - I was able to turn lemons into lemonade with the project. Not to mention - after interviewing several electricians for the job, Josue won the job by his honest nature and very competitive structure. Unlike many -JAR Services does not do the typical beltway price gouge at the customer. Save yourself the headache - and give JAR Services a call. Youre definitely in good hands, and likely wont find a more fair price for the 5-star job they will deliver-on. Thanks again, guys.

I am a customer service Guru.I believe in providing the best customer service in the line of work that I am in so I expect to receive it from all businesses I patron. My expectations were definitely exceeded . Superb, high quality, A1 level customer service is exactly what I received.I received a phone call the morning of my appointment advising me that the scheduled technician was going to be late as they had a personal emergency and would not able to make it to work and thats understandable as we all have our own personal lives that may cause to unexpectedly not be available. Its what took place after being informed of that information that kept me smiling the entire day. This organization and their professional team was sure to stay in constant communication with updates on the status of the replacement technician. Even when I was a late coming from my home for the rescheduled appointment they were kind and gracious enough to wait so that I didnt have to reschedule. Upon my arrival to my home they respected my house with their protective shoe booties (+++)thats always a plus and explained things to me in clear/laymans terms to ensure that I understood what the issue was, how it arose and how it could be avoided in the future.Their attitudes and demeanors were always positive and eager to assist, they took the time to make sure I understood the work that they completed and made sure that I had no other questions before leaving.This organization is definitely one I would recommend to family friends and even complete strangers. It was very easy to schedule an appointment with Josue, he was responsive and explains everything clearly regarding their assessment process and expected costs. Our space heater was burning at the outlet and we wanted an electrician to come out same day to ensure we didnt have a potential electric fire. The team was so helpful when I called in panic and Josue made it out shortly.Josue was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He replaced our outlet and inspected more of the electric issues around my parents (very old) house. He was honest about what would last and gave us suggestions for what should be replaced at some point in the near future. He also gave us a solid estimate to work with for future repairs, which helps with planning some of the big electrical upgrades this house needs.Overall, great experience and will definitely be using JAR services for our electrical needs moving forward!

He provided options. He installed new switch panels, and correctly rewired a switch panel. In addition, he gave us his professional opinion on another future home project. We also very much appreciated that Jar Services listed their project prices up front on their website, so that we could be mindful of ballpark fees when getting estimates. My daughter in law and son just purchased a new home that had been renovated. The electrical work was questionable. Since I lived out of town, I researched online and found jAR. They fit us in quickly and did the save work the save day. They were prompt, professional, explained what the cost would be and did a nice job. My daughter in law was very happy when she arrived home from work and saw that everything had been repaired. They feel better that they can trust the electrical repairs were done well.this time. It wasn’t cheap but JAR did warranty their work for three years.I would highly recommend them.

Josue came out on time and was very professional with the work that was done. If your looking for someone to treat your house as it was theirs then I would recommend JAR Services. I had a over the range microwave installed with a exhaust vent cut out through my cabinets to the outside of the house (Vinyl siding). He did a very nice and clean job both inside of the house and out. After they were done with the project it didn’t even seem like there was any work done to the house and that the microwave was already there from years ago. That’s how much of a great job was done installing the microwave with venting out the house. We’ve got a a lot of quotes and JAR Services was the most comparable one. I would definitely be using this company again in the future. Thanks again for a job well done.

I was very pleased how pleasant the experience was and if you get Josue, I know you’ll be getting one of the best. The visitation for an assessment was free, and after you choose what option you want to go with they clearly layout the price in digital format. So no unexpected secrets charged, and I was made aware exactly what was being done. I was encouraged it was easy to talk to them, get updates from dispatch, appox time of arrival, etc. On site, they were very knowledgeable with what to do and answering questions. They also had recommendations with things to look out for as they noticed things. It wasnt the kind of feel of getting that...emergency you need this! It was just simple recommendations. I called JAR Services late Friday afternoon because of a burned wire. I was concerned about the issue and pleased that a rep was available Saturday morning to check out my issue. Josue did everything right. He sent me the appointment info, called before arriving and diagnosed and described the issue to me, then corrected the issue very professionally. He also installed a light fixture that was damaged by the electrical short, what I felt like was above and beyond the stated work. He took his time explaining everything from the remote control to the kind of lights to use with my ceiling fans as well as my Ring system. I learned of JAR via with all of the 5 Star ratings on Google. I tried another company but they indicated lack of manpower. (TBH, I think my job wasn’t large enough) JAR/Josue confirmed my appointment, notified me when he was on the way, was on time. He and his assistant arrived in a professional van, masked up, wore shoe covers and worked very neat and clean. When they left, you couldn’t even tell they were here. I had a new range hood installed and the installation was perfect. They were both extremely polite and respectful. Josue even inspected a few things for me and gave me recommendations. Too bad for the other company, I’m now going to have numerous outlets changed, ceiling fan and chandeliers changed, ring and nest system installed. I’m in sales myself, and usually the small jobs turn into something much larger with a little TLC!

They were fantastic to work with - professional, on-time (most vendors weve worked with on our move in have operated in very wide well show up between 12 and 5 windows which is difficult when you work during the day - JAR Services gave us 2 hours windows and sent multiple updates when they were on their way so we could plan accordingly), and you can tell they take great pride in the work of their small business.We had them install a fairly complex chandelier, a ceiling fan, and two more basic light fixtures. I used JAR Services recently for a doorbell installation. Josue was professional, responsive, and respectful. He was patient with me as I did my research and gathered information. He was not pushy towards any particular service and offered multiple options. During the installation he was clean and always wore a mask. Josue thoroughly explained each step of the process and made sure I was happy with the work before moving on. At the end he was careful and left the work area spotless. Josue does high quality electrical work. I highly recommend JAR Services!

Josue is very meticulous about his work. He’s not one to cut corners while doing your job because he prides himself in making sure the job is done right and you’re happy with it. As a professional contractor he explains every step of what he’s going to do and his prices are also reasonable. He makes sure everything is clean when the job is complete and you’re satisfied. Josue at JAR Services did a really great job upgrading my fuse box from 100 amps to 200 amps! Many other companies quoted a much higher price, several days of work, and multiple days of power disruption/inability to work from home. He got the job done quickly and neatly, and was great at answering questions in-person, through text, or over the phone. He even went above and beyond and covered up the hole in my siding caused by the old meter and helped me to diagnose my wifi problem. Overall, I would definitely have Josue come back for future electrical repairs and recommend him to friends and family.
