    Did you hear the story about the commercial business that had a major appliance that failed and drained out all the water? The Owners just knew it was going to need replacing and cost a small fortune. But when RHD Arrived - it was a simple fix and a small bill? What a great ending! Doesnt happen this way all the time, but it shows honesty and integrity. The could have easily said you need a whole new unit - this one is shot! Instead they made a simple and quick fix.

    Needed a new outside anti-siphon wall faucet installed and I contacted RHD Plumbing & Remodeling to do the job. Very polite personnel for the scheduling process and they were able to accommodate me within 2 days for a non-emergency. Craig arrived on time and completed the task, plus I asked if he would be able to install a shutoff valve for me in the utility room. He said “absolutely, no problem” and within 15 minutes or so everything was completed. They are definitely on my list for preferred plumbers. Thanks again Craig and RHD!!

    RHD is my “go to” now. They are available for multiple different jobs. I had them fix a disposal, a hot water heater and outside water faucets and a full bathroom remodel. Lori was super accommodating with the emergency water heater situation. she was able to get someone out to our house in a very short time frame to get it switched out. The service guys are always prompt and professional. I know I can count on them to help us out.

    RHD plumbing did a nice job for me. I had a broken faucet on my basement utility sink. I was able to schedule an appointment within a few days of my call. The plumber arrived on time. He was polite, explained what he needed to do to replace the faucet. He worked quickly, and didn’t leave any mess. The faucet works great, and doesn’t leak. The price for the repair was reasonable for the job. I would use RHD again.

    Mike did a great job of replacing a valve that I could just NOT get undone. Mike also walked around with me to discuss other plumbing jobs I was interested in getting done. Lastly, he heard the cries of a kitten who had been abandoned and needed help. She is now our 12-week old ‘Smokey.’ We gave her the middle name of ‘Mikehako,’ because Mike helped me find her in the neighbor’s hakone grass bushes.

    Faucet was failing. Decided to replace kitchen faucet, soap dispenser, drinking water dispenser and air gap, all to update and match. I looked up examples of what we may be interested in. Stephanie took it from there, put together a proposal of pieces. No small task with todays supply chains and inventory challenges. High quality, matching with no additional effort on our part. It turned out exceptionally well! The technician was also excellent. Professional and personable, The air gap was still in shipment, he made a special trip to deliver/install it the day before Thanksgiving. All went well, smooth, high quality!

    Okay, quick update on the plumbing situation. We were contacted by RHD plumbing recently, apparently the company changed ownership or management since we had our work done. The manager asked if they could come out to see if they could remedy the problems we had with our work.A tech came out and assessed the install on our hand sink, and agreed that it should have had some blocking behind before mounting. They offered to remove, install blocking, repair drywall and reinstall the sink at no charge. The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient for us (we could not have the restroom closed over the weekend) and completed as promised.I had some difficulty deciding what to change the rating to. Do I average the old rating and the new one? That really didnt seem fair to the new management. In the end, Im as impressed with the service weve received as I was disappointed with the initial process, so Ive updated our rating to a 5. I appreciate the management at RHD reaching out and remedying the issues we had with the initial install, over two years after we had our work done.___For posterity and explanation, Im leaving our original review below.___We had RDH plumbing do the build out on our cafe on Williamson St. and struggled to keep them to their original timeline. The work seemed to start and stop rapidly, with the plumbers leaving projects incomplete for days and sometimes weeks on end. Communication with the office and plumbing staff is difficult - I had the experience for leaving multiple messages with the office staff over a number of days without a returned call.Since the work was completes weve had a few problems with the plumbing, such as our open site drying up and letting sewer gas into the building, as well as the bathroom sink pulling away from the wall.We chose RHD plumbing based on their reasonable estimate and timeline. Unfortunately they only kept to the cost estimate, and delays in plumbing finish work as well as poor quality of work left us very disappointed.-----UPDATED Jan 2019:Hi RHD- Thanks for replying to my review. Its unfortunate that with the purchase of the business youve also acquired the past problems and reviews. Ill post a shot of our lavatory hand sink - installed by RHD plumbing about 30 months ago and is practically falling off the wall. If youre sincerely interested in earning back our business, remedying this issue would be a great place to start.

    We first met RHD plumbing when we did a major kitchen and bathroom renovation. They soon became our go to people: good advice, good products, timely, fairly priced, very responsive via email and/or phone. Even small things get the same attention to detail. When our quiet close easy clean toilet seat needed to be replaced, they searched and searched to find a replacement. The model that I had was no longer available and the new model required a change of hardware. I have severe arthritis and no tools or skills. They totally understood. RHD was terrific and sent a service person to my home to install it the very next day.

After gathering other estimates, we chose to RHD Plumbing based on their price and that they seemed knowledgeable and friendly over the phone.     Called RHD for an emergency repair after our shower faucet wouldnt turn off. The gal I spoke to initially was very kind and tentative to my concern and said an on-call tech would be getting a hold of me shortly. Soon I got a call from the technician, I explained what was going on and he made a great suggestion to hold out until the morning if we could, to save a lot of money on an emergency visit. We did just that and Im glad we did. Taylor, their technician that came in the morning was great! He was very personable, quick and knowledgeable. Ive even gotten advice late at night because I was worried we might blow up... they assured me we wouldnt and had a specialist call me in the morning and someone to my house by 9 a.m. (also we didnt blow up just as promised!!)
