MJ electric was unfortunately my second call. The first company called came out to my home and gave me a diagnosis that was not only an expensive repair, it just didn’t make sense. Not having a great feeling with company one, I reached out to MJ electric and was surprised with a human answering the phone. They got me worked in with a quick visit and found some basic connections that weren’t properly done and had them quickly rectified. Once they had my wiring proper they discovered a short in a ceiling fixture!Once that was taken care of they did a thorough inspection of the system and gave me a clean bill of health. All for less than what company 1 had charged for just a bad diagnosis. Very knowledgeable and honest company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is my second time using him to install lighting and fans both in the house and garage. He is roughing in a porch I just had built in addition to multiple fans. He had to troubleshoot and figure problems caused by a fake electrician, and a second Handiman who saw the problem and then caused more of a problem leaving me with hanging unfinished lighting, and no electricity in the second bathroom. Corey was super responsive and helpful for an electrical emergency we had, on a holiday no less. I am very grateful that he was able to come out and see what was going on quickly. It ended up being something the power company had to repair, but he took the time to speak with the power company when I called them, to explain what his testing was showing. I would not hesitate to hire him again and will likely do so soon since I have some fixtures I want to replace and an old alarm system I want removed (the darn thing goes off randomly). I like to think I am a good judge of character and he seems very genuine and helpful. I instantly trusted him. He was also able to explain to me what was going on in a clear manner so I understood the issue even though I know next to nothing about electrical stuff.
