Great service. I highly recommend this company. We had a water leak issue in the water meter pit. I contacted several chain companies for plumbing service. I got quotes that blew my mind. I spoke to my neighbor and he recommended Joseph Frederick and sons plumbing service. I contacted them and the crew showed up in 30 mins. The Service professionals are friendly, polite and honest. They diagnosed the issue quickly and repaired the pipes in an hour. We thought it was a miracle because the companies I contacted before were incompetent and inconsiderate of my family’s plight with lack of water. F&S understood our struggles and restored the water supply in my house within an hour.

Thanks to Andrew and Cameron for an amazing job installing our new ceiling fans!In the 2 years weve had this house weve had to call a ton of different contractors to get work done, but finding a good electrician in particular has been strangely challenging. We tried a few different companies and always had issues, from cleanliness to incomplete/incorrect work (and I swear, we arent extremely picky - imagine paying to get a light switch added, and after they leave, you discover greasy finger prints all over the wall AND the light switch somehow doesnt work!!)So its been such a relief to finally have found someone thats reliable and professional to take care of all of our electrical work. We first called a few months ago to get an outlet installed for an electric oven, and Andrew came out, investigated, and delivered the great news that we already had the power hookups we needed and no work needed to be done. His honesty and professionalism in that scenario stood out to us, so we were eager to call again when we decided to get ceiling fans installed throughout the house. Andrew came out again, this time with Cameron, and they did an incredible job from start to finish. They were clean, efficient and professional throughout the entire process. Whenever they ran into obstacles (and this house presents many), they presented a few options to us, let us choose how they should proceed, and got right back to work. And they didnt leave a trace behind when they were done. What more could you ask for?Were already cooking up more projects for them to come out again. Thanks fellas!

Our technician was down to earth, knowledgeable, professional, had an enjoyable personality, and didn’t try and upsell us, or scare us into thinking our unit had little life left, which was a big problem with our previous company. Aaron’s explanations were clear and he answered our questions concisely. He showed us what he was doing and how things worked when we asked. In short, great service. The customer rep told me the tech would be out at my house between 12 and 4. The customer rep called me on the day of the appointment to say the tech was on his way. Kevin Betts came out to do maintenance on my heat pump and to resolve a humidifier problem. Kevin did an excellent job of explaining what he did, why he was doing it, and what I could do in the future. He did an excellent job! If youre going with Jos Frederick & Sons, I would recommend asking for Kevin to be your tech. Great communication, great work, very friendly!

The beginning of Summer woke up and had no AC. Have 94 year old Grandmother living with us. Called 4 24 Hour Service companies. 2 left message no answer never heard back, 1 called back next day and Joseph Fredrick & Sons I left message and had a return call in under 10 minutes and Tech was at house in about an hour. He was able to fix problem unit was frozen up. Had to let unit sit to defrost told me to turn back on when defrosted and if any problem call him back. Was very impressed when I got a follow up call from him latter that day to make sure unit was back on and running OK. A lot less then I expected to pay for a Service call on weekend and Tech was top notch.Last Night had no hot water went to water heater and it was leaking on floor. Call Joseph Fredrick & Sons 7:30 in am spoke to very nice lady that said she would put me on the schedule for today but not sure when they would be able to get out due to call volume and they would call when on their way. Got a call at 9am saying someone was on their way was there a few minutes latter. He wrote up an estimate for new water heater and install and started job immediately.Excellent Customer Service and Workmanship will never use any one but Joseph Fredrick & Sons in the future. Great service for a very reasonable price.

My 15-year-old AC began to fail just before the beginning of a predicted long and severe heat wave. After doing some quick but extensive research into repair vs. replace, and into the various makes, models, and installers, I decided ultimately to purchase a new Carrier AC from Jos. Frederick & Sons. My decision was based in large part on my having had the pleasure to work with Mr. Bud Thompson, who I found to be very professional, knowledgeable, and forthright. I felt that he was truly advising me rather than just trying to sell to me. The AC was installed in just a couple of days and it has performed flawlessly since. Thank you Bud, for all your advice and help, and thank you Jeff and Rudy for doing such a great job on the installation!

I called Jos. Fredrick & Sons for an emergency electrical problem on a Friday evening. Steven O. returned the on call message and was polite when I spoke to him on the phone. He was upfront with pricing and made sure I was clear about how the emergency service call would work. He arrived within 30 - 40 minutes from the time I spoke to him on the phone. He was able to find and fix the issue without it going to a next level service call where he would have had to run test to find the issue, which would have cost more money. Our heater wasnt working Wednesday night. I had called 3 other 24-hour service places. The earliest they could come out (if I talked to anyone) was the next day after noon. I called Joseph Frederick and Sons, spoke to an operator who took my info and I received a call from the technician on call, Aaron, within 20 minutes. While on the phone he walked me through some troubleshooting and sure enough, it was a just a switch on the furnace that needed to be turned back on. Aaron took the time on the phone and saved us the huge expense of an emergency visit just to flick a switch - and as a bonus, he was very kind and pleasant! We have had a service contract with another company in the recent past; however, we will not be going back to them. We will be using Joseph Frederick & Sons from now on! Their electrician, Steve, came out to my house after his work was over for the day, replaced the broken component causing the sparks, and got all of the lights in working order. Tim R installed our hot water heater in 2017. Since then Tim has responded to our house several times to tune up and repair/maintain our aging HVAC systems. Tim is very punctual, friendly and courteous. Tim seems to be an expert in the installation/repair of hot water heaters. He will also try to help you save money in the future by offering tips to help in maintaining your existing equipment. I have relied on JOS. Fredericks & sons for all my HVAC needs for over 20 years and would recommend them and Tim R for all of your HVAC needs.

They are just the best. Why? First their prices for skilled labor are absolutely fair and the time estimates reliable. No surprises. They don’t jack up the prices when your sweltering or freezing and everybody else’s units are breaking down too. Second, they are honest and stand behind what they sell. My unit 9 years old and needed a fancy new DC variable speed blower motor, read expensive almost $1000 just for the part. It was even my own darn fault for not changing filters often enough. One call and all taken care of under warranty, when another company was quoting me over $2500 to replace motor and Fredrick charged me just $571 for the labor part, which was out of warranty. A 5-10 year warranty that I had forgotten about. So the other company was quoting me double on a fair price for parts and labor if out of warranty! So yes, Fredrick is honest. I don’t know why I didn’t call them first. You think it’s because they don’t spend a fortune on advertising, so they don’t have to charge twice the fair price? Thank God I had that, I rarely buy warranties, but expensive high tech units I used for the top floor of my house I did. Gas furnace and single speed AC for main house, heat pump with variable speed motor for top floor since air handler in attic space. That unit you can set not only temperature, but humidity too. This is great because humidity wicks through your whole house fast. Controlling humidity makes for greater comfort for less energy. That’s why some AC’s can make you feel cold and clammy, you dropped the temperature, but still have too much humidity. Instead, the unit will run at an optimum rate to drop the humidity without over cooling. Like a giant dehumidifier, you are more comfortable at a higher temperature. Third, they know what they are doing and are at the top of their game. This is so important and getting harder to find in businesses. The system they sold me 9 years ago is still tops for efficiency and high tech features. If I replaced it today, the latest and greatest wouldn’t buy me much extra efficiency. The units, most advanced at the time, have stayed up to date. I can run the bedrooms and shut down the lower part of house at night saving me huge in energy cost. We spent extra money for these features, but we spent it where is counted and made economic sense as well as high performance. Very pleased with the system they put together for me. I’m an engineer, so I know what I’m doing too. Forth, they are all very nice people! From the phone to the service techs, they are warm, friendly, cooperative, skilled and willing to work with you. You can tell your dealing with a family owned business that has happy employees.

I have now used them for 3 separate repairs/maintenance in my home including Heat, AC and Plumbing. All have been speedy, extremely reasonably priced and accompanied by polite knowledgeable service providers - Sean (HVAC) & Justin (plumbing). I am usually a do-it-yourselfer and hate spending money on repairs (especially when I am getting ripped off) but the service and bang for your buck with these guys is undeniable.

I found Aaron to be highly skilled in all manner of his trade. As a tradesman myself, I saw some things that he did that were easy on the equipment while very safety oriented at the same time. I have over 40 years of experience and still learned a thing or two from this fellow. I’d have him work on my hvac, or for that matter, anything mechanical in my home or shop. He and his assistant got to sign my “heater wall of fame”. That honor does not get bestowed on just anyone who works on my home.The Frederick folks deserve high praise. The professional attitude and workmanship has proven to span multiple generations. Excellent experience. First Bobby came to service my furnace. He was friendly and courteous. Given the age of my furnace, we discussed installing a new one. No pressure. I was the one who brought it up. The new furnace was installed in a few hour and at a MUCH lower cost than my other bids for a brand-name unit. I highly recommend this company.

These folks are unbelievable!They installed a new gas furnace for me a few years ago. There were some performance issues because of the existing duct work in my home. After repeated adjustments to try to get it to work, they upgraded me to a more expensive model that would work for me at NO EXTRA COST! Who does that right!Cant say enough good things about this company top to bottom.

Many years ago Frederick & Sons installed our top of the line heaters, air conditioners and humidifiers in our home and we have been very satisfied with their customer service ever since. The technicians are courteous, knowledgeable, prompt and most respectful not only of the client but the clients home.
