Ive been using First Class Mechanical for the past 8 years and they are always quick to respond and do great work when weve had plumbing issues. We had a pipe burst yesterday and they had a plumber at our house within an hour of me calling, and had the pipe replaced and water back on in our house within two hours. I highly recommend them!

I am very happy with the experienced technicians at First Class Mechanical . I needed a water shut off device installed. They were very patient with me as I was installing the app to monitor the device and showed me how to use it. Never had that happen before.When he arrived he inspected where the leak was and gave me a quote which was very reasonable. The repair was completed and verified that leak was fixed. The technicians were very professional and did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem very quickly. After determining the issue, they fixed the system and checked all the major components of our heat pump to ensure they were functioning properly. I am very pleased with the service I received from First Class Mechanical. It was not an emergency and not a big job but I was treated as a priority. For a leak under my sink they dispatched a tech that was in my area finishing a job to come out the same day as my call! Shannon arrived assessed the situation and explained in detail what they believed was the appropriate fix. Got right to work and completed the job and made the effort of cleaning up thoroughly after the job. In my first time using them I was impressed. Thank you!

Ray came out within 2 hours and accessed what had to be done; provided a cost estimate and arranged for a crew to come out the next business day. They completed the job the same day and left the property in good condition, which included putting down grass seed where necessary. I would highly recommend them.

First Mechanical came out promptly the night we found water in our basement. However, they left our house without identifying the problem, several holes in our wall, and not even a guess as to the source of water damage. We then received a phone call the next morning stating they couldn’t help us further because they didn’t have the equipment/cameras necessary to evaluate and a $335 bill for their “services”. As a customer we were disappointed with the lack of transparency of the costs without identifying the problem.*Edit- i changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars. After posting this review they calledme and changed the bill to reflect only the $150 emergency service visit.

They do not upsell jobs and are honest when recommending replacement parts. I want trustworthy workers who know what they are doing and they exceeded my expectations. I know the owners of this business to be ethical and have integrity. That is worth a lot in today’s business climate.

First Class indeed! Returned from the Carroll County dump around 3pm and my wife sez we have no water! Called our regular Plumber and hes on vacation and a quick Google search gives me 3 or 4 names but I have seen the trucks of FCM around and gave them a call! A good luck move on my part(even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while!) John shows up in 20 MINUTES, quickly finds the problem with the well pump, Ray shows up 10 minutes later, and Boom, they have swapped out everything and cleaned up in less than an hour! Excellent work, done well and expeditiously AND at a fair price, they were great and now I will get them to give me an estimate for my worn out AC unit. Very pleased and I highly recommend!

We had an emergency leak in the pipe in our basement in the middle of the night. We called another plumbing company and they did not respond timely. We then called First Mechanical. They returned the call within 15 to 20 minutes. Giuliano Figueroa was our service technician. He was great! He was able to diagnose the issue immediately, turning the water off to the street. He then repaired the pipe. He took us through his process step by step. Giuliano was courteous, friendly, and professional. We plan to ask for him when we use your company related to some future work we want done in our house. Your company came highly recommended and now I know why.

Our water pump failed on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. We called our regular plumber and they came out that day but did not have a pump in stock to install. Because of this they wouldnt be able to do the work until the following Tuesday. Their estimate for the job was $6K. We needed water so we agreed to have the work done. Afterwards we checked online for estimated costs for a well pump installation was between $900 - $2500. With that information I looked for another company on Sunday and found the highly recommended First Class Mechanical, LLC. I spoke to Ray Murray and he said he could come out that day and as a standard they carried 5 varing sizes of water pumps on every one of their vehicles. He was at our home within an hour. Another plumber accompanied him and within 2 hours we had running water. We didnt have to wait until Tuesday and the cost was $2350. My husband is an electrical engineer and watched and spoke with Ray during the entire replacement process. He was extremely impressed with Rays experience and knowledge. I highly recommend First Class Mechanical, LLC to all our friends and neighbors. They are now our go to company for our plumbing and HVAC needs.

We have a well system and our water pump stopped working. We called many places and got price estimates. One of them is R&G watersystems, Inc. company. We called and made an appointment, they said they would come. but they did not come. When we called and asked, they said they postponed our appointment to the next day. We called someone who worked for another company. He came and said something crazy like he could do it in 3 days at the earliest and that the labor plus material cost would be $4000. At the end of the day, we called First Class Mechanical at 03.45 pm. The operator put us in touch with master plumber Will Adams. He listened to us and told us that he would come in 1.5 hours and the estimated price of the job. We accepted. Will Adams arrived at the time he said he would. He checked the problem and replaced the well pump and electrical cable in 45 minutes (approximately 81 feet). He was very kind, careful and his assistant did his job well. At the end of the job, he matched the estimated price he gave. He billed for $2191.99. They saved us from thirst on Sunday. They also gave a 5 year warranty on the new pump. I am pleased with the work they did. They know very well what they are doing. They are true to their word. They are very reliable, professional and efficient. Will Adams is a very good plummer. Thank you for your service on Super Bowl day.

I have been using First Class for years and cannot sing enough praise for their responsiveness and professionalism. Today I had to call with and A/C issue (it is Saturday in August). After talking to the answering service, I received a call back within 5 minutes from Cody, the technician. He was finishing up another call and said he would arrive shortly. He arrived promptly within the hour and was finished up and on his way 30 minutes later. All in all, an A/C issue on a Saturday morning in August that is resolved in less than two hours is just amazing to me. But, this experience is not at all unlike all the others I have had with First Class. They truly are appropriately named. Highly, Highly recommend!!!!

I have used FCM for plumbing and HVAC needs, I am updating my review to reflect the services received and recommend FCM again for your plumbing and HVAC needs!HVAC:We have two units at our house and have used FCM to service and repair both units (they were not originally installed by FCM). We had a very frustrating intermittent failure issue with one unit that a team of techs and a manager were involved in and they provided top notch service trying to diagnose the issue, which occurred when they were not on the premises. They came out multiple times, and on the weekends, to look at the equipment and diagnose the potential problem. Finally, a compressor went and we decided to replace our aged AC unit. Greg assisted in this and he is fantastic. Cody was one of the servicing techs and came to our house for the install, along with Luke, Ernesto, and Thomas. They did the install and cleaned up as they went, being cautious and mindful of the property as well. Cody and Greg have truly gone above and beyond with us, all everyone has always been honest, knowledgeable, professional, and kind.Plumbing:My experience was excellent. Prompt response time and planning during a small flooding emergency. Fair pricing and excellent communication. Our plumber, Eric, took the time to diagnose the problem and explore options and saved us money, time, and additional headache. I highly recommend their services. Honest and professional! Im a very impressed and happy with the knowledge and service of this company and their technicians! We first noticed our shower leaking last week, used a different company at that time, while it seemed the other company had fixed the issue, they did not address the true problem at all and this week we had water leaking again. Within the first few minutes of arriving, the technicians from First Class Mechanical knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. He provided us with helpful information regarding the issue and did an excellent job on the repair. He also tested our water quality and water pump. Have a oil fired trailer furnace in my bfs apt.. That thing needed some tlc and first mechanical techs provided that. I had replaced the nozzle for the burner and, due to the fact the furnace hadnt been serviced in 4 years due to financial constraints, the electrodes vibrated loose from their hold down clamp and were very loose when i changed the nozzle, they fixed em Then they also had to service doenstairs trailer furnace too. And replaced the electrodes that were crumbling. The techs arrived promptly, were very courteous, proficient and represented their company very well. Reasonable rates too. They contacted me at 6:57 this morning and were here at 8:15 to evaluate and fix my problem.they checked the well pump inside and pressure then discussed with me the problem and solution. Then they contacted AHS to discuss what was covered and how much was owed. Their p rice was fair and their work was done quickly and thoroughly. They explained what they needed to do in the well itself( foot valve replacement) cleaned up and replaced my old pump from 1995. Then they assessed anything else that may go wrong in the future and things that could help prevent them . I am completely happy with the work, courteousness and level of expertise. After 25 years, one of our air conditioning units finally bit the dust. We reached out to several local HVAC folks and made a decision to hire First Class Mechanical to tackle the job. It was scheduled as a two-day install, one day for taking out the old system and the second day for installing the new unit (inside and outside). Due to the horrific wind storm that hit Route 140 on 8/7/2023, the technicians were unable to start as planned and postponed installation by one day. With 3-4 trucks arriving at 8am, First Class Mechanical sent a team of four technicians and planned to have the job completed before leaving.As one team covered the interior area to protect our carpet, the second team removed and replaced the outside unit. It clearly was not their first rodeo! 🤠 They were determined to have us back up and cooling the bedroom level of our home before leaving. The team, lead by Cory, was polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and expertly competent as they continued working tirelessly. After working from 8am to 10pm, the HVAC unit was replaced and we were back cooling our home.We highly recommend First Class Mechanical for any HVAC work you may need. They are competent, courteous, and treat their customers to a “First Class” experience!

Called First Class Mechanical at 9am because my well pump wasn’t working. Never used them before but they were the first ones to pop up on google. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. She told me they would have someone out between 11 and 3. Ray and Corey were on-site at 11:15am! They quickly diagnosed the problem and determined there was a break in the electrical line to the pump. They offered to just replace the line without replacing the pump but the pump was 17 years old and probably near the end of its life. I first came across First Class after having a series of less-than-great experiences with my long-time plumbing company. I heard some good things and saw the reviews of First Class and thought i would give them a try. Last November, I had a water heater problem but figured i would kill two birds with one stone and get my well pressure tank replaced due to age and rust.I called after hours and got the answering service and was PROMPTLY called the next morning by the extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable Tammy. They went out of their way during a busy day to get me taken care of with this more time-consuming job. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and honesty of the technician Gary who took care of the work. Given the late hour, Eric, another tech, came from another job (when he was really done his day) to help out if needed since there really were two jobs in one. The guys were prompt, informative, considerate, clean, and very friendly. They gave me details and prices before doing any work. I checked some comparative pricing and found them to be very competitive Honestly, even if they had been a little higher, it would have been worth it as it was the best overall plumbing experience I have had in my many years of home ownership.Last night, after dinner, we discovered we were without water. I knew it was probably the well pump so I called the answering service at around 7PM and was asked if it was an emergency. Not willing to pay an exorbitant emergency fee, I said it would be nice to have water but it could wait until the morning. She said she would go ahead and have the tech call back. I was very happy and surprised when I got a call within 10 minutes and it was my friend Gary. He said he could come out that night. I said I did not want to pay the crazy emergency fee that other companies charge and he said if it was the pump, it would basically just be the standard price. He would only have to charge the after hours labor fee if it was something minor. With the age of the pump, we were confident that this was the problem. I had not even had time to get the pump specs and depth so I had to call him back with that info. He said he would call another tech and get things arranged and call me back when he was on his way. Long story short, the pump was bad but the cabling also had 4 breaks and needed to be replaced. He made sure to get me outside to show me the specific problems. So, I called at 7PM and by 9:30PM the water was flowing again. Wow! I woke up this morning to the sound of my wife running water in the sink and really had to think about if the pump problem had really happened.Given the nature of this business, I cannot guarantee that it is always possible to get that type of quick service. But, I can assure you that Gary and the team at First Class will take care of you and you will be very pleased with the outcome.

I called four different emergency services on a saturday night after our house lost water pressure completely before i finally found great service with this company. my technician was eric -- both him and his assistant were FABULOUS. they came out around 6pm and went through all the trouble of digging out our old well pump just to find the problem. turns out the electrical line was severed and the pump was 20 years old (so thankful it wasnt the well itself that was the problem) and it took them a little over an hour to replace the line and the pump. from the moment i called to the moment they left was less than four hours. i was extremely impressed and grateful that i had water back in my home the same day and didnt have to wait several days without it for another service to maybe call me back. i highly recommend them! thank you

Let me set the stage. Its 93 degrees out. I have rented a moonbounce with a water slide attached for my sons 9th birthday party set to start at 1pm. I recently called First Class Mechanical when a long time trusted company wasnt able to perform a water heater replacement. The woman that set up the appointment was super friendly and helpful and gave me a comfortable feeling from the start. When they came out to replace the unit, which they did very quickly, I asked about some additional work that needed to be done and was given an estimate before they left. Upon their return, they replaced most of the old piping in my house, installed a new utility tub, faucet, and pump, replaced the pressure tank, repaired two toilets, relocated the washer piping, and replaced an outside hose bib, all on the same day. It felt like a new house after they left, plus the peace of mind after seeing the finished product, well, that says it all. I cant say enough about Ray and his crew, they did an EXCELLENT job!!! The one finally up and died so the team at First Class will be putting a new one in after exhausting every other option to resuscitate this one. Josh took the time to explain the problem understanding that replacing any of the the units was the last thing I wanted to do. They found the issue with my second unit and thankfully it is repairable. 1st of all, love this company. If that’s all you need to hear, USE THEM!This may be a little long winded, but I’ll distill it down as much as possible. 😊Story (read if you have time, it’ll sell you on using them): I had an issue with water in the basement coming up from the floor drain when using the kitchen sink, which had an old pipe that fed into the ground.The first company I contacted (at my neighbors referral) suggested replacing the pipe, digging up the old pipe under the house, etc etc, was going to cost $5k+. I said it’s not a huge issue right now (it was just a little water in an unfinished basement that would discharge away slowly), so I’ll wait on that. He said he would try to snake it. Ok, go ahead (although I already tried that + home remedy pipe cleaner- baking soda & vinegar, boiling water). He couldn’t snake it successfully & cost me over $200, and also couldn’t get the Y pipe cap off to properly snake it. The problem got worse and I couldn’t wash dishes for longer than 3 minutes without surging and standing water.He left accomplishing nothing and I was out the money.I came up with the idea to divert the drain to the main drain of the house (which would be cheaper and quicker than his $5k+ suggestion). Communication was horrible so I contacted another company for a quote on the idea.They came in and said it’d cost over $2k to do. Okay, still seemed a bit extreme. It’s ~35ft of pipe and some logistics to tie into the main drain.Then I called First Class Mechanical for a quote on my idea/project. Ray came by and said it was doable and shouldn’t cost more than $1k. He understood the problem and conveyed his thoughts to me. Great! … as he was fixing to leave, he came back and said “Ya know what, I’d feel a lot better if you let us snake it 1st, would hate to cost you money and time if the project doesn’t need to be done, if it doesn’t work, of course it’d be no charge to you.” Wow! Absolutely, go for it. (I was doubtful it’d work to be honest, but why not). He came back later that day and successfully snaked it (and was able to get the cap off the Y drain to access it better that the other guy couldn’t).Through First Class Mechanicals integrity, professional knowledge, due diligence, and no BS, they saved me THOUSANDS. Ray is awesome, appreciate you!!... I’ll forever be their customer for my plumbing needs now (which hopefully isn’t too soon! Lol), and I’ll continue to refer folks to them.
