A long overdue review of our fantastic contractor team! We’ve worked with Rich and team to add an addition, remodel our kitchen and gut two bathrooms at our home. Rich Rebecca, Bill, Steve, Jack, and Ruben are an incredible team to work with. Their communication and ability to problem solve, stick to a schedule, and budget far exceeded my expectations. They were also a pleasure to have at our house - keeping things super neat and clean! My toddler loved seeing Jack and Reuben, she still asks about them or says we should call them when we need to fix something! My dad who was a contractor for 30+ years was also impressed by their work. I continue to refer Rich and team to our friends and neighbors. In April Advantage did a complete remodel of our main bathroom. My wife and I were so happy with their quality of work, responsiveness, and professionalism that we immediately had them do a quote for a full kitchen tear out and remodel. We were on their calendar for our kitchen before they even finished our bathroom. Advantage recently completed our kitchen remodel and we are over the moon happy with what they have done! Everyone that we dealt with at Advantage was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend Advantage! Our first job, a bathroom, was in 2001 and our most recent, the kitchen, was in 2024, with several jobs in between and we have been satisfied every time. Every job has been on time and on budget. The crew is very professional and always leaves the site clean. We go back to Advantage time and time again because we have never had a problem. Five stars all day!!

These guys were in our house every day for all that time and they and all their subcontractors were professional, courteous and respectful of us and each other.

My husband and I have never had anything in our home remodeled, but our bathrooms were out of date and in serious need of an upgrade. From start to finish Advantage helped us remodel both of our bathrooms. We had no idea what to pick out, what to go with but their designer helped us greatly! We highly recommend using Advantage. Both the staff and construction professionals couldnt have been nicer. They paid attention to every detail and did such a professional job. The entire job took as long as they said it would. Ive heard horror stories from people who were told their jobs would take 4 weeks but ended up taking 4 months as one example. We thank you Advantage for being so great. Ive posted some photos and where you see a tall closet, that was where our old stall shower was. This closet has multiple shelves and the storage is abundant! We LOVE our new bathrooms, thank you ADVANTAGE!

Advantage did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen! At this point in time it is so difficult to get materials but Rich did a fantastic job in getting our materials much faster than we thought. Once materials were in, we were put on the schedule immediately! His men came on time for the days that were expected to work. They were professional and friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Each day was cleaned up so nicely! On the last day we were so impressed at the work that had been done! We now have a beautiful kitchen to enjoy thanks to Advantage! Rich and the entire team are incredible. They did beautiful, quality work, quickly, neatly and at a great price. We had major damage to our home which wasnt covered by insurance so this wasnt a fun renovation project but they made it stress-free and as easy as possible. Rich was in touch throughout the entire process. He was very patient and took all of my calls and crazy questions. The team was always polite, very organized and we couldnt believe how fast they worked. I highly recommend them! We had a floor collapse. They removed the damage, rebuilt the structure and flooring and repaired the entire crawlspace, sump pump and drain that caused the collapse. The new flooring is beautiful! I can honestly say they went over and beyond to help in this terrible situation. Thank you Advantage, Rich and team!

My wife and I hired advantage to do several projects on our house including new roof, skylights, siding, portico over front door, new kitchen and new bathroom. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with in terms of planning and communication as to when the work would start, the timeline for ordering fixtures, and making sure everything would work in our space. Steve led the work and did an amazing job all around from coordinating other subcontractors, making sure our requests were met, and giving open and honest ideas and answers when we had a questions during construction. When there was one minor miscommunication about bathroom counter top selection/availability, Rich the owner came out and apologized for the mistake and made sure the correct quartz was here the next day for install. All levels of the organization were so professional and courteous and they were a pleasure to work with. We’ve already recommended Advantage to several other families and one of them is already working with Rebecca on redesigning their kitchen. The last thing I’ll note is that everything is planned out so well. Supplies, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc. were all ordered and delivered well in advance of install day so there were no delays. They did all our work in a matter of about 4.5 weeks which was just fantastic.

There was nothing I DIDNT like about this business. From the first meeting with Rich, I had a good feeling about working with the Advantage team. The contract was specific, the project started and ended on schedule, and Frank and Tim (among others such as the electrician, plumber, and painter) were at the top of their game. I am in awe of their craftsmanship. They also treated my home-and dog!- with the utmost respect.I am already looking forward to our next project with them!

I used Advantage Contracting for two projects: (day 1) replace my front entryway with a Therma-Tru Doors entryway with a Reeb Finish and (day 2) repair my front steps. The staff from Advantage Contracting arrive when they say they will and perform an evaluation of the project to provide a detailed scope of work with a competitive quote. When they arrive at the worksite to begin work, they describe what they are going to do, perform topnotch workmanship, inspect the work with you after they are finished, and lastly clean up the worksite after they are finished. I would definitely use Advantage Contracting for my future projects.

We have dealt with multiple contractors and quite a bit of home renovation in the last ten years, but we have never had an experience this positive. Advantage has truly restored our faith in humanity! Their integrity, skill, and work ethic are beyond anything we have ever encountered before. We have a small home and every bit of space must be maximized. We are seniors and needed our space to be safe and accessible. We also wanted it to be beautiful. We were actually shocked when they started, to have them show up continuously, day after day, and put in full days of work. In the past we have had contractors start the project and then start coming two days a week, prolonging the agony for the homeowner. There was none of this with Advantage. Their men were so respectful of our home and went to great measures to protect our home from the construction dust getting into the rest of the house. There was communication all along the process. My husband is tall and I am short, and we were called in to the bathroom to try shower fixtures, seat, grab bar, and hand held hooks out to be sure they were all at comfortable levels for both of us. They thought of many things that we had overlooked. When they were done, the results were so gorgeous that our neighbor immediately called Advantage for an estimate on a bathroom renovation. This is the best renovation experience we have ever had and we enthusiastically recommend them!

Advantage Contracting was a saving grace for our family. We had hired another contractor that spent a year doing more harm than good to our home and left many areas in shambles. Although most other contractors would not even attempt to do a job where the primary goal was fixing another contractors mistakes, Advantage came in and did excellent work that involved everything from a rooftop deck, roof repairs, masonry, framing work, trim carpentry etc. They also did new work we added of superb quality and craftsmanship. Sleepless nights have converted to happy memories and I would recommend anyone looking for a contractor to stop their search and call this company!

Update 4/19/24: Advantage once again did quality work with the excavation and digging to install French drains and a sump pump. Soon after it rained and proves everything worked. No more water in the basement! Even more,.all workers were respectful of my home and amazingly cleaned up like they werent even here. Without question, Advantage will work on my next home project!I’ve used Advantage Contracting three times: Once for residing my house; once for fixing a bathroom without having to gut the whole thing; and once for actually gutting and replacing and remodeling a bathroom. They are accommodating: They’ll come give you an estimate at a time that works for you; they’ll stick to that estimate; they’ll work with you through every step of the process; they will accommodate your schedule when work needs to be done; they are responsive and answer every question timely. My husband and I brought on Advantage Contracting to gut renovate our kitchen in the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy. Obviously, this timing put an extra level of pressure on the project! We began the process early in the new year and got bids from 5 different contractors. Advantage was by far the most comprehensive bid and made it possible for us to really understand the scope of the project and what we would be responsible for. Many of the other bids seemed too good to be true, and when compared to Advantage’s well-broken-out bid we saw that much on the others was excluded making the bids not comparable. We felt so confident going into our project with Advantage and they absolutely did not disappoint. Other bidders told us “no problem we’ll definitely be done before you’re due!” But Advantage was honest that a 7 week timeline might be necessary, but that they would do everything in their power to keep the project moving as quickly as possible, knowing we were on a time crunch. The permitting process took a month and it was handled by Advantage. Once permits were in place, they were here every day, moving so fast through the project and keeping us updated on progress and getting our feedback along the way. When small discrepancies came up they were remedied immediately and carefully. The kitchen came out more perfect than we could have imagined, and was finished early (and ahead of baby’s arrival, thankfully!) We can’t thank enough owner Rich, project manager Bill, design consultant Rebecca, and crew - particularly Dennis, Cesar and Chris, who were all so professional, above and beyond helpful, and truly did such an amazing job for us. We will absolutely be enlisting their services again for our master bathroom reno later this year. If you’re planning a project, choose Advantage, no question!

Without question, I would highly recommend Advantage Comtracting. We contacted nine contractors before deciding on Advantage. Their price was competitive and they were by far the most responsive as far as submitting an estimate and answering all questions. This attentiveness remained throughout the entire project. We had the kitchen and family room redone. They began the job as scheduled, did high quality work, were an absolute pleasure to work with and finished on time. As promised, they worked every day from start to finish.When you have people in your home for eight weeks and at the end of the project have as much or more respect for them as when they started ...I believe that speak volumes.

Weve worked with Richs team at Advantage three times over the past two years, first for a major renovation on about 70% of our home, including a complete open concept remodel of our kitchen, master bedroom, master bath, family room and the addition of a new bedroom. Second time for a new, larger deck, and third time for a remodel our second full bath. Couldnt ask for a nicer, more professional, skilled and trustworthy crew!Advantage was mid- to high-range in pricing compared to the five other quotes we received, but we liked that there is a designer on the team and we had a good gut feeling about Rich. In hindsight, Im positive the quality surpasses what we would have seen from the others. I believe Rich provided an honest quote up front so we wouldnt be surprised down the road with hidden costs. On top of that, they handled any issue that popped up (air conditioner needed replacing once they started looking at the duct work, weird placement of duct work in a wall they knocked down, need for replacement of a lot of crappy plumbing, etc.) like a pro and kept the costs in check.The first time we hired Advantage included knocking down two walls, completely shifting kitchen, custom cabinetry, doubling the size of our bathroom, a huge walk-in shower, new oak flooring throughout upstairs and new wood-look tile flooring downstairs, new stair railing, new french doors in family room, moving windows and much more. They did an amazing job - from design (thanks, Rebecca!) through to execution and finishing touches. They kept us updated throughout the process, and were more than happy to come back and do some touch-ups as needed. They were incredibly clean and super nice about our very loud beagles who barked incessantly for the 8 weeks they were on site.The Trex deck was also a great experience - finished in a week and looks amazing. We had one issue a year later and Rich is taking care of it with absolutely no issue.The bathroom remodel turned out great - complete gut of original, removal of tub, installation of amazing walk in shower and custom cabinetry. Steve (who did our master bath remodel two years earlier) and Chris did an amazing job.Im literally looking for more work so I can hire them again.

Working within a limited area, the design maximized the space, while providing for the desired walk-in shower and modernizing all other fixtures and décor. The Advantage Contracting crew completed the project within the estimated 18 workdays, that involved taking the walls down to the studs and the flooring to the plywood. Their staff was skilled, courteous, friendly and efficient. A complete clean-up was performed at the end of each day. Any questions or issues were quickly answered and resolved.Two months earlier, I had Advantage Contracting replace all my windows with similar good results.I am really pleased with the final results and offer special thanks to Bill, Pat and Cesar for their on-site work ……D. We had our bathroom redone, some windows replaced and some outside trim work done. They did a phenomenal job. The bathroom came out beautiful (every detail was perfect), as well as the other work. Once they start the job they are there every morning for the whole day until the job is finished. Also, if you have any issues at all, they will come back until you are completely satisfied. I cannot recommend them enough. You cannot go wrong with them.

We hired Rich and his amazing team (Advantage Contracting) last summer to do a major renovation on a fixer-upper that had been occupied by renters for 2 decades. We needed to redo the kitchen, all bathrooms, and laundry room, replace the 1st floor flooring with new hardwood, replace 75% of the windows, redo the fireplace, open up some walls, and do some minor repairs along the way. They were a dream to work with! They were incredibly responsive to our texts and emails and their team was very respectful and cleaned up after themselves. They are transparent about costs throughout the entire process so as to maintain that you stay within budget. They take pride in their work and arent happy unless youre happy. I would gladly use them again. If you have a project to do, big or small, do not hesitate to call on Rich and his team.

We had a great previous experience with Advantage Contracting for our roof fascia repair. So when we had a ceiling repair job as a result of an unleveled air handler in the attic we decided to call Advantage for this job too. From the quote to the completion of the job, Advantage Contracting was always punctual, professional and communicative. Their price quoted for the job was also very transparent and reasonable. The work Jack did with the ceiling repair was high quality along with the added bonus of him caring about the cleanliness of our house afterwards by vacuuming and Swiffering our floors both days he was here. The finishes and painting done by Dennis were meticulous and superb as well. The end result of all of Advantage Contracting’ fine work was a ceiling where you’d never know anything was damaged or replaced at all. Thanks Advantage and for the piece of mind knowing who to call for any future jobs in our home.

Extremely Pleased!I had a 21 wide double wall oven (from 1959) in a solid brick wall. Of course, 21 wide ovens are no longer manufactured--hence, my dilemma.At least 3 different contractors reviewed my problem, and they all said the rough opening could not be expanded to fit todays ovens. I decided to try Advantage based upon their local reputation and their expertise renovating kitchens in my area (which is loaded with 1950s homes).I have a very little flexibility with my schedule. Project Manager Bill was able to come over at a time convenient to me...in fact he showed up a few minutes early. He carefully assessed my problem, and also was not optimistic the job could be done, BUT...rather than just wishing me good luck with my project, he had their mason come over to further assess the problem. Together, they determined the job could be done to my satisfaction!Bill provided me with a written estimate and referred me to a contact at a local appliance store, who was amazing. I decided I should also replace my vintage dishwasher (to match my new oven), which also needed additional work to install due to the old plumbing. Bill was able to add the dishwasher to the oven project with short notice.Bill coordinated with the mason, electrician, and plumber to get all the work done in the only two days I had available in my schedule. Communication was superb. They showed up on time and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. There was the potential for some additional expenses, but the team was able to complete the work without incurring those costs. They took great care to minimize any mess and did a decent job cleaning up after the job.Overall, I found Advantage Contracting to be competent, affordable, and professional. I am extremely pleased with the work they did and plan to use their services again!
