Schoenwalder was our 2nd plumber to address some water pressure issues we were having in different areas of the home. The other plumber, Horner, was dismissive of our problems and without checking the basics said we needed to replace the galvanized pipes in the wall, meaning our walls would need to be opened and the cost over $12k. Mike actually took the time to diagnose our issues and it was a simple flush of the lines and cartridge changes, amongst a few other small things. Our bill was reasonable at $405 for all he did. Had we gone ahead and replaced the galvanized pipes it would not have fixed the problem because the area of concern was at the faucets. Its difficult to find someone who does a good job and Im glad we finally found someone that we can rely on for all our future plumbing needs. Highly recommend.

We had a 25 year old exterior water faucet that was dripping water constantly. Everything else in our house was Mansfield, so I thought a Mansfield repair kit would work. I removed the 16 inch frost free hose bib and replaced the washers at the end with a Mansfield kit from a local hardware store for about $20. Still leaked. Disappointed it did not solve the problem, I took it to Schoenwalders for advice. I had a video of where it was leaking that I showed to Trevor. He agreed a new washer kit should solve the problem. He called me later to say he had a hunch the original was not Mansfield. He asked me to recheck the faucet, and sure enough, ABP was faintly visible on the brass. He ordered the exact ABP replacement of the entire 16 inch unit for around $40. I picked it up the next day, installed it immediately. A few days later, there is no leaking! Thank you Trevor for your help in solving our problem! We appreciate it!!

Our water heater needed immediate replacement and the Schoenwalder team helped us out in a big way. Quick and easy experience over the phone being provided with cost estimate and scheduling appointment for next day service. Brian F came to our home and we had a very positive experience. The old unit was difficult to remove and drain, but Brian was still able to accomodate and did not make a mess in our basement. Once the install was complete we talked through everything and also received helpful advice about the new unit and the plumbing in our home in general. Well definitely be calling them again in the future.

We purchased an old farmhouse a few months back and have been slowly fixing the many plumbing issues throughout the home. We have worked with Schoenwalder Plumbing for each project since we had such a wonderful experience the first time around.They are ALWAYS on-time, professional, friendly, and they get the job done correctly. Even though our projects have been bigger-ticket items, they still have been reasonable (and certainly much better than waiting until we have an emergency or being unable to use any facilities). I also really like that they try to send the same technicians out each time so that they are familiar with the quirks of the house...plus we have dogs and a cat so it is nice that they are aware of and used to our animals running around.We will continue to work with this amazing company for all future updates and maintenance.

Schoenwalder Plumbing recently installed the plumbing on two new bathroom sinks in my condo. The installer that did the work was very professional. He explained what was done and left the bathrooms immaculate. I would recommend this company and would not hesitate to call them in the future for any plumbing needs.I chose to have Schoenwalder Plumbing install a new garbage disposaltoday after my very positive experience with them last year. First time we used Schoenwalder Plumbing because we were unhappy with another plumber we had used for years. Very good experience. Our technician, Paul, was on time and replaced two outdoor faucets as well as installed a new laundry tub and faucet in our first floor laundry room. The quality of the parts was excellent and Paul explained to us what he was doing and why. The cost came in just under what the estimate was and well under what other plumbers had quoted us. Paul was professional and very helpful. Would use them again.

Had a broken garbage disposal and a couple other issues in our 40+ year old house. Gave them a call and they were able to get us on the schedule very quickly. Provided quotes for the work up front and stuck to them! The guys made quick work of the garbage disposal and took a look at some of the other issues we had. Very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable! They didnt charge us anything extra to look at our other issues, gave us some great advice for how we could resolve some of them ourselves, and provided a very transparent quote on replacing our ancient water softener. Couldnt be happier!

He even allowed me to watch him and ask questions while he was replacing a defective shower valve. I was having new flooring installed and they found the toilet base was rusted and needed to be replaced before the toilet could be replaced. I called Schoenwalder Plumbing and Brian was at my house to replace the base within about 10 minutes! The new replacement had stainless steel so it would not rust along with several other new features, and he suggested a self adjusting T-nut kit for reinstalling the toilet. He was done in less than a half hour, was very clean about a dirty job, and the flooring installation proceeded along without a hitch. GREAT JOB!

I had a problem with my water heater. Another plumbing company wanted to replace the whole thing (and charge me around $3000). The guys from Schoenwalder correctly diagnosed the problem (clogged exhaust vent) and fixed the issue (took out birds nest, put on an extension with a grate to prevent any further nesting). The guys were professional and easy to talk to, they explained my options and everything they were doing. Schoenwalder will definitely be my go to plumber for any future issues.

We had a leaky toilet at our place of business and I called Schoenwalder Plumbing this morning to see if they could come out and fix it. They sent Vince out in the early afternoon and he was very knowledgeable and professional. He found the water shut off and got to work! Actually before he fixed the toilet I asked if he could look at the sink in the break room. Twenty minutes later that sink was finally usable! Great work! Couldnt grade them any higher! Will definitely use Schoenwalder when I need a plumber again!

Weve had a long-standing issue with the kitchen faucet backing up when we run the garbage disposal, and its leaking into the basement where we have belongings. We needed a toilet repaired or replaced. The bowl would fill and then would slowly drain almost completely out. Schoenwalder responded on the day that I called. That was sooner than I had anticipated. The price was much better than I thought it would have been. Ryan did an excellent job. He explained things as he was testing his theories. Confirmed our grey water pump was dead, replaced it, added a silent check valve as well. Encouraged me to watch and ask any questions that I may had. We live in an old house built in 1930, and it was our first time needing plumbing work done, and we were referred to Schoenwalder Plumbing. We learned our pipes coming off the tub were old, galvanized and we had an outdated drum trap set-up. This job wasnt a quick fix because we had to deal with opening up our plaster ceiling, but both Schoenwalder plumbers we dealt with were extremely professional, responsive, and took care to help educate us throughout the whole process of replacing our pipes. If I ever need additional plumbing work, I wont hesitate in calling Schoenwalder Plumbing.

If I could give a 10 I would. Ive used them twice. A few years ago they installed a hot water heater for me because my tank started to leak. They came out same day and cleaned up the mess around the heater. I went there today after being turned away by Menards, Grainger, and Ferguson. I have a 60+ year old utility faucet that is no longer made that was leaking. I couldnt find replacement parts anywhere to fix it and a new set, which is special order, was $70+. After hearing my discussion with an employee the owner, Kory, came out to help. They checked for a replacement part and couldnt find one. Kory took the valve/faucet into the back and came back and said all set. He must have turned the valve on a lathe and then installed a new gasket. I told him that I also need some plumbers putty to put it back on. I asked what I owed him and he said, the plumbers putty is $1.50 plus tax. He fixed my leaking valve for no charge and said, it only took me a few minutes and we appreciate your business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family owner business. Later to find out that it was his son who helped when my water heater broke. Thanks to Kory and his family!!!

With the cold spell peaking on Thursday (Jan. 30th-31st) we already knew our kitchen sinks water lines were having trouble. Sure enough in the afternoon heard a rather loud bang down stairs. Searching for what might have fallen, we see water seeping from the ceiling tiles and the wall panels. Immediately we shut off the main therefore all water through out the house. My wife is a volunteer coordinator at our churchs outreach center in Waukesha. She contact the facilities manager, also a volunteer there, for a referral as to the plumbing services James Place has used in the past. Schoernwalder Plumbing was mentioned so we contacted them to get on the service schedule. How cold the last couple of days have been we anticipate difficulty getting timely service as there may be many emergencies. We were fortunate, Schoernwalder Plumbing had an available window Friday morning. I used Thursday evening to remove a section of the ceiling and wall panels exposing the wet insulation and frozen pipes. When the Schoernwalder Plumbings van arrived in the morning, I greeted the technician, Brian. Brian similarly greeted me with a good morning. I live in a condo known for plumbing issues. We had a clogged tub and called various plumbers for help on a Friday afternoon. Schoenwalder had the soonest non-emergency time slot (cheaper!), which was the following Monday. Soon after scheduling them, Schoenwalder called back and said they had an available plumber nearby, so I jumped at the chance to get the clog removed the same day. Paul came, discovered that the only way to clear the clog was through the tub drain, and then he discovered the poor layout of our tubs plastic drain pipes. Paul was able to completely replace the pipes, which enabled him to better snake the drain and successfully remove the clog (the clog was past the plastic piping). He did all this in 1.5 hours despite the tiny wall opening in which he had to work. And the price was less than I expected. Thanks again Paul!
