Two days to complete, second day the city inspector came out and blessed their work. Second day the cement went in. Very pleased with everything. Great team. Highly recommended!! He took extra time prepping the floor, which was in bad shape. He helped me pick out a beautiful slate grey color for the finish. Had a pretty big leak in our basement during a major rainstorm. Reached out to a friend who recommended SAS Home Services. Mark Fetting got us all sorted out, and honestly, we cant thank him enough. Its been holding strong for a good while now and survived multiple major storms that have hit the Macomb area. The super quick response from Mark and his ability to get our basement all buttoned up basically made SAS our first and only choice for any future basement waterproofing endeavors. Highly recommend if youre looking for someone to help get any basement leaks sorted.

We had big water issues to solve for the entire house. Our project incorporated gutters, crawlspace waterproofing, sump pump work, french drains and concrete work. SAS services was the only company that could handle the entire project at a reasonable price. Its been nearly 4 years and our crawlspace and front yard drain and remain dry and no issues with the concrete driveway. Steve and crew were efficient and addressed any questions or concerns we had throughout the project. Highly recommend!!

We had leaking in the basement due to a long crack in the wall. We hired John and his team after a bad experience with another company, who failed to resolve our issue. SAS injected the wall with a mix of epoxy and polyurethane and provided a lifetime warranty on the work. There has been no leaking or signs of water anywhere in the basement since the work was done despite heavy rainfall. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the fix and the service that was provided. We will absolutely hire them again for any future basement concerns.

We have had several heavy rains and our basement is dry. This is a finished basement and they had to cut some drywall and remove some vinyl flooring but kept it to a minimum.

They waterproofed our basement with digging around the perimeter of the interior of my home and installing a sump pump 4 years ago. We have been bone dry ever since! We had another company auger our sewer line for tree roots and a backup. They broke the PVC line from sump pump and said they cant fix it. I called SAS and they were out within days to assess and fix the issue, despite them not being the ones who caused the break. They are courteous and efficient. I will call SAS first in the future. So happy with this company.

The job I needed done was complex and unique. I researched at least a half dozen companies. None were able to take the comprehensive and holistic approach that Steve at SAS Home Services took. This job required not only needed waterproofing, but needed excavation, sealing, tar, anti leak seal products, sloping of the grade, sump pump relocation, and more. Steve and the crew at SAS were on time, extremely polite and professional, executed the job quickly and efficiently. They wasted zero time, were prepared and organized, showed up ready to go. Honestly, they nailed it. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they did all the little things that pop up along the way that most companies would skip or pretend they don’t need to be done. They cut no corners and didn’t try to avoid any work. How was the cleanup after you ask? Most companies barely clean up, while Steve and SAS cleaned everything and even cleaned the street in front of my neighbor’s house to remove leftover dirt and mud.Simply put - HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don’t waste your valuable time getting multiple quotes. Steve came in at a lower cost and executed the job better than anyone else would have. Steve and SAS get the job done and get it done well.

The salesman came to my house on time and as planned. He was very thorough and explained everything. He even brought real samples of shingles to my home and the roof was done swiftly (within 2 days). We had water leaking through our basement walls and had SAS handle it. From start to finish they were extremely professional. The owner of the company did our initial inspection and was thorough, knowledgeable and fast. We had a Hansons come out before SAS, and their quote was almost twice as much and would have involved twice the work. SAS instead personalized to fit our need instead of Hansens one size fits all solution. A week after Hansons home improvement gave us our estimate, they called us back saying the owner of the company took a look at your estimate and says he can do better. We are willing to lower our price. So compared to SASs estimate which not only broke the price down, had no tricks like that, we had the actual owner shaking our hand and explaining everything start to finish. When he was done I felt like I could have fixed it myself, the guy was just that thorough. We hired him and a year later havent had a single drop of water leaking in. The guys that came out for the work were extremely professional and courteous. They put down paper for the floors and hung up tarps to keep the dust from broken concrete away from the rest of the house. They didnt wander around, just worked hard and respected our house. When they left everything was removed and clean without a single issue. SAS seriously impressed us with their professionalism and no nonsense approach. Definitely hire them again with hesitation.

Edit: Steve the owner contacted me directly and we spoke about the concerns that I had. Glad we could work it out. I updated my review based on his integrity for reaching out and wanting to make things right.They came out last minute for a roof leak repair that another company messed up, bad.... Price was fair, but it still wasnt repaired properly. You could see daylight around where they were supposed to repair. I was told that there was no warranty, which I get, but the repair wasnt done properly to begin with; we shouldnt see daylight through the roof. After a couple of round and rounds with the tech on the phone, we just said forget it. We got a new roof from someone else a couple months later. Everything seemed fine up to that point, maybe it was an off day or something. I dont know if roofs are their forte.

This company is wonderful. Our basement in our previous home would always leak water from the base of the foundation anytime it rained. We also had structural issues with our foundation. SAS did great waterproofing repairs on short notice when they had plenty of other jobs they could have been doing due to so many people needing their services right after that bad rain flooding. The house was on the verge of an upcoming scheduled inspection with a buyer and the water leaking issues would have delayed or potentially derailed the sale and SAS was thankfully understanding of the circumstances and fit the job into their schedule.On top of that there was a funeral for one of their employees being conducted that afternoon and I would have accepted a rush work situation expecting to clean up concrete debris from the repairs, but things were cleaned up as if they never jackhammered or re-cemented. I’m a electrician and see other trades half clean job sites and was impressed and thankful to see SAS obviously practices customer appreciation no matter the circumstances.

I was looking into buying a house in Chesterfield that I really loved buy there were some issues with unlevel floors and when I talked to my real estate agent she convinced me to get the advice of a foundation professional. While I wanted to just pull the trigger I listened to her and ordered a special consultation with Steve that the seller approved and he came out on a weekend, even though it was a weird time on a Sunday that we needed to make the timing and stuff work. He got into the crawl space and actually found that waterproofing had been done before and, apparently, the water had caused a section right in the middle of the house to sag. What I really appreciated about what he did was he took the time to explain exactly what it would take to fix everything, why there was an issue in the first place, gave me a quote on fixing it if I were to buy the house, and then explicitly told me not to buy that house. He was able to explain that the house had basically been built on a marsh, and there there was other issues with broken sills in the house that indicated that the house was basically folding in half and that there were all these other issues that he immediately noticed. So anyways, long story short, he saved me a HUGE problem and didnt try to just get me to spend my money on something that would ruin my life later on, lol

It was extremely good fortune for me to find SAS Contracting business on Yelp (of which I am a member) I contacted Mohammad in late Fall and we exchanged messages to set-up the meeting. As he visited my home for the estimate I immediately knew that I was going to have the best contractor for the job. Mohammad walked me through the work and as to how the job was going to be tackled.
