    Joe with Midland plumbing and sewer came out today to replace our hot water heater. he was very professional and knowledgeable. Measured the space to ensure the unit was was best for location in our closet in condo and would meet all our needs. He showed up on time, answered all out questions, explained what we needed, cleaned up after himself. I am very impressed and will definitely use them again ! So glad they were recommended to us and we will also recommend to our friends and family too.

    Amazing service. Friendly. On time. Great price.Our job was quoted in the spring and I was hesitant to book because there was so much work that had to be done to fix the issues. But Midland worked with me to fix the immediate issue so I didnā€™t have to spend all $2k+. Tommy was so friendly and Darlene was super quick over the phone.Eventually all of our pipes will have to be replaced and I will use midland most definitely. Thank you for fixing our leak issue in the meantime midland!

    Best in town. I had several companies come out to inspect an obstruction in main sewer to street. Every time and before really looking they want to dig up your yard and do a $10K+ new line...which is suspect. Joe from Midland took his time to assess the issue and realized a much more cost effective solution that worked perfectly (a hydro jetting of the line). I trust these guys - and I have had experiences with many others - Midland is the only one I would recommend. Many other companies will use your crisis to cash in/easy button (put in a new line rather than unclogging the old one). Not Midland - they are honest brokers.

    I had a clogged drain and called Midland Plumbing hoping I could get some help that day. Within a couple of hours a very nice guy, David Colpo, arrived and unclogged the drain. The experience I had with Midland was wonderful, I would use them again.

    One of our 50 gallon water heaters wasnt working right and we were not getting the right amount of hot water. We called Midland and Karen dispatched a team promptly. Tommy diagnosed the issue, and one of the heaters needed to be replaced. He provided us several options and we decided to replace both heaters with a tankless system. Tommy and Chris came out the very next day, once parts were received, and did the install. They did an excellent job and we couldnt be happier. The site was cleaned up once they finished, and they explained the new system to us. If we ever need work done again we will be using Midland. And wed be very happy with Tommy or Chris doing the work!

    What a great experience! After another company wasnā€™t able to clear our plumbing issue and wanted to upcharge us for what they said the next steps should be the folks at Midland took a fresh look at our simple sewer problem and took care of the issue quickly and with care.     My mom needed help with a secondary bathroom toilet in her condo, so we called Midland. We read the outstanding reviews and checked references then decided to give them a call. From the moment Darlene answered the call, my mom could tell that her experience would be a positive one! Darlene was very kind, caring and helpful. She sent Joe to the condo and he was also an amazing plumber! He was very kind, knowledgeable, hard working and communicated very well! My 85 year old mom felt great relief to work with such a friendly and respectful company! Joe identified her problem, fixed the issue, checked another toilet when my mom asked because she felt very comfortable with Joe and told her what her next steps would be for the future. We felt like family and extremely comfortable with working with them. Additionally, the price was outstanding, especially for a senior on a fixed income! If you need an outstanding plumber and in town company, Midland Plumbing and Sewer is the place to call!

    Iā€™m writing this review on behalf of my husband for Midland Plumbing. We woke up Saturday morning with no hot water, we called Midland because we had previously used them and they quickly sent out 2 technicians and told us that we needed to replace the gas control valve. Unfortunately the part had to be ordered and was not available until Wednesday! Tuesday we received a call that Midland would be out early the next morning. Early Wednesday morning David was at our door. He replaced the valve and made sure all of our faucets were clear and ready to go. He also made sure we had no leaks and that we had the original amount of water pressure! David went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Thank you for such great serviceā€¦

    Midland Plumbing did an excellent job removing our lead service line from our Depression Era home and replaced it with copper using directional boring. They also did a very nice job repairing the tile floor in our basement, drywall, and carpentry around where the service line came in our home. I highly recommend them.

    Midland was recommended by a family friend and Iā€™m so glad I used them. I called about getting a patio door replaced. Bill and Don came out to measure my door and give me a quote. I live in a condo which has an HOA with a ton of rules and regulations and it was not a problem.They ordered my door and upon installation, you wouldā€™ve thought that nobody was even there, the place was spotless.     We had water coming into our basement from the ground and I got several quotes, Midland was the best in price and they did great work installing a funneling system, waterproof wall membrane and sump pump. They were very easy to communicate with as well. Everyone who works there is very respectful. Hope we donā€™t ever have to use them again but definitely recommend for everyone in this area!

    Had Midland out for a leaky tub filler and a shower head change based on recommendations I found on a neighborhood FB group. Really lived up to the review expectation. Tommy was our plumbing tech and he was professional & knowledgeable, remedying every issue. Fee was surprisingly reasonable. Originally thought a part needed replacing, but when it wasnā€™t readily available, he improvised with a deep clean that seemed to do the the trick. They are definitely on my go to list from here on out. Wish they did electrical too!

    Wow! We can not say enough on how pleased we were with Midland Plumbing and Sewer Inc. We had an emergency sewer line back up and called Midland, thinking it was just a rodding issue. Joe came out to rod and assess the line, which turned into identifying a broken pipe. He assessed all sewers around our home to correctly gauge the problem. We were deemed an emergency situation. Midland got our town permit and was out that Monday to dig, replace, jet, and install a cleanout. The precision of the dig, hole, dirt, and especially the skill of the Midland employees is beyond amazing. Everyone sent out to work on our issue had great attitudes and were a pleasure to work with. Midland met the town inspector the next morning and closed the hole on our front lawn. Excess dirt was removed, leaving a clean looking and manageable pile to deal with. This is a 3 generation business, which shows in the knowledge and care they put into their employees and work. We couldnt be more pleased with the job from start to finish and will definitely only use them in the future!

    Highly recommend. After a faulty sump pump repair by another company that resulted in basement flooding, Midland came out to access the situation and the same week was able to replace our sump pump system.     I would like to offer an absolutely STELLAR review for Midland Plumbing & Sewer Services out of Villa Park, IL. Over the long Memorial Day weekend we had a lot of family come in to town to spend time with us and stay at our home. By 9:30 a.m. the Friday heading into Memorial Day weekend, we realized we had a plumbing problem. I called a local plumber initially who is in my town and they were too busy to get to us that day and would charge double overtime to have arrived the next day. I recalled I had recently met George Benes Jr who works for Midland Plumbing and so I called him. He sensed the panic in my voice and immediately calmed me. Although he himself was booked on jobs all day, he took the time to ask questions and pinpointed who from Midland Plumbing he could guarantee would get to my home before lunch. I was so relieved!! Midland Plumbing came through in a BIG WAY. Joe Coates of Midland Plumbing arrive at my home just before 11:30 am. He was pleasant, professional and ready to get to work. Joe did due diligence in determining the source of the problem and how to best correct it. We did have a house full of guests and the bathrooms had to be off limits so time was of the essence. Joe tackled the problem and at every opportunity he had to interact with us, he was kind and keeping us up to date. Joe had us back in business by 3:30 pm and were not charged one penny of overtime like the initial plumber expressed. My husband and I were so impressed and so thankful for Midland Plumbing & Sewer Services. I can refer with confidence!!

    We highly recommend Midland! We contacted for work on our bathroom drains/faucets, toilets, water heater piping, and install for new kitchen sink. Office is friendly and responsive. George Jr. gave us estimates and came out himself to complete the work. The work was scheduled and completed timely, and George Jr. was awesome to work with.     George and his team were wonderful to work with. We were having an issue where our pipes that lead to the main sewer line had settled, so sewage was not flushing out as it should have been and was actually impacting our ability to use water in our home.George was very prompt and was able to come out same day once we called them to assess the issue, and were even able to get the work done within a few days which required getting permits with the town, getting a small backhoe, and bringing his team out to help him complete the work.The team ended up working on it for 2 days because the sewer was much deeper the anticipated, but they did a great job! Willie and Nathan even went out of their way to get a smaller backhoe excavator that would mean we would not have to take down our fence, and were even kind enough to re-plant a tree they dug up while fixing our sewer line.We had a great experience and I would highly recommend this company should you have any plumbing issues in the future!

    Over the past few months since becoming first time homeowners weve dealt with Midland a lot, and we definitely will be continuing to do so.     We are on experience 3 with Midland! Today we met Joe and Nathan. Both gentlemen were incredibly patient with me as I asked a million questions, learning the finer points of winterizing pipes, valves, and spigots :).     We had a clogged drain at night during Thanksgiving holidays. I called and George and Joe came the very next morning. They were very friendly and explained every step.     Noticed our sewer cleanout was starting to overflow so we called Midland Plumbing thinking that itā€™d be a day or two before someone could come take a look. To our surprise they said someone would be over in an hour. Master Plumber George was at our home and explained what he was going to do. He had to rod our main line and said the issue might be the roots blocking the water to the main sewer line. George got the job done in less than an hour and no issues since. George was great and very professional. I was satisfied with the work done.

    I had a clogged tub drain that George Jr. was able to promptly resolve. Midland was able to fit me in over the weekend on less than 24 hours turnaround with no service fee/surcharge for weekend service, which was appreciated.     Midland was able to rapidly respond to an issue preventing us from using most of the water appliances in our house, including 3 bathrooms. They were able to arrive same day within hours of calling, promptly assessed the problem and completed the fix in under an hour. This involved unclogging a drain, routing out the piping that had clogged and removing interior pipe rust that caused the clog in the first place. George was very helpful, informative on a couple additional questions we had, and was a pleasure to hire. We have found our default plumbing partners going forward for all of our water work needs!

    We contacted Midland Plumbing in Villa Park, Late one Wednesday afternoon asking for a quote to replace a 30 year old toilet and its shut off valve.Being the end of the day, one Technician stopped by on his way back to the office. His name is Chris Roder. Chris was very nice and pleasant to talk with. He provided an estimate which surprised me by beating another local Plumber by over ,$350. I called the main office and booked the install for the following monrningChris showed up on time and once again impressed me on his knowled, abilitie and speed of work. Chris cleaned up after himself even wiping down the wall behind the toilet and the floor around the base. Then he carried the old toilet wrapped in plastic and placed it on his Truck to take away.I will be a repeat customer.Great Customer Service!

    My experience with Midland has been amazing. We got a new house and the bathroom was a complete disaster. The toilet was not connected to the pipe, the tub was old and had been painted and the paint was chipping. It also looked like it hadnt been updated in years. Midland sent a tech over, and they suggested completely redesigning the bathroom. We ended up doing the work and it looks wonderful. I couldnt be happier. Everyone who did the work kept me updated throughout the process and was very informative and polite. I cant wait to have Midland do more work!

    Every time we tried to use the outside spigot, there was a pipe in the basement that would spray water everywhere. Called Midland for an appointment. Was right before the July 4th holiday, but they scheduled me for first thing Monday morning. George called me Monday morning, and gave his ETA. He showed up on time and was really professional. He showed me right away that the copper pipe on the frost proof spigot had split (even though the pipe was in our finished basement, last winter was brutally cold and the pipe was not insulated). Anyway, he gave me an estimate for repair, including to install a shutoff valve so we wont have the problem again. I think he was done in 30 min. If we ever need any plumbing work, will definitely call Midland and request George. Even after he finished his work, we ended up talking about cars for 20 min. Definitely recommend!

Had to replace the water shut off for our house (two old gate valves) that had lost their packing and held together by plumbers tape.     Our master bathroom was long overdue for a really nice remodel as the shower/tub area was outdated, the tile grout was rotting, and the overall look was in need of updating. We contracted Midland Plumbing & Sewer to not only improve all the plumbing configurations, but also to do the entire remodel. The remodel consisted of pulling out the tub, pulling out the tub walls, tile floor, replacing any rotted sub floors, and removing/replacing all the bath components.They did an excellent job in all areas of the end to end remodel and we were very impressed with how they not only specialize in plumbing work, but all the other aspects of the remodel as well. They pulled down all the tile and drywall that was in the tub area and put up new insulation & Durrock as some of the previous was damaged. We had a more difficult request of adding in 3 12x12 recessed shelving units in the back end of the tub area. They installed these nicely and the tiling job was very detailed and done well. They tiled all the way to the ceiling which in addition to giving it a fresher look adds to water protection as well.Once the new tile in the tub and floor was completed they installed all the amenities such as the vanity, toilet, etc and gave it a great clean new look. We are very happy with this remodel and would recommend Midland Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work or any kind of remodeling job.
