Ryan x 2 from Mr. Electric were simply amazing. Ryan Kosloski walked with me around the house after a horrible estimate and experience with Mr. Sparky. He showed me that I didn’t need the GCFI outlets that were suggested by the other company and that I do have full coverage all over the house. He showed me my panel and specifically pointed out what didn’t look right due to age of the panel. He only suggested things that needed an upgrade due to safety and code. I (it was my suggestion) also opted for the whole home surge protector and to change all my switches and outlets. When I tell you both these men were amazing let me explain. They were not pushy and made my family feel comfortable. They also quoted us a price that was 3k below Mr. Sparkys. Everything was shown the break down of what each item costs and even gave a military discount. They were more than willing to help me move around some furniture and put up with my very talkative 9 yr old. I could go on and on about the professionalism of the dynamic duo. All in all I will never ever call another company to my house even if they quote less!

I called Mr Electric and an electrician, Elijah Jones, was here about two hours later. Elijah tracked down the source of the problem and the next day was able to repair everything. I recommend Mr Electric wholeheartedly for electrical problems.

I decided on a whim that I needed a new outlet and Mr. Electric amazingly had someone available to come out the same day.Ryan arrived and inspected all breaker boxes and outlets near water as part of their safety checks. He was super nice and professional.Turns out our 1979 house needs a new breaker box and I can see why after he showed me. Wires are jammed in there and all the breaker switches are very old. I can’t believe the inspector didn’t flag it when we bought the house.Anyway, Ryan installed my new outlet and it’s perfect. He’s super OCD about getting everything aligned perfectly, which after just recently having had our house remodeled, seems like a rarity in the construction world.When we do get a new breaker box, I’m requesting this guy because his attention to detail was on-point.

UPDATED EDIT: I received a response from the owner that was both respectful and well thought out. I believe that this was an uncommon and unintentional issue that will be remedied going forward. I was impressed with the integrity and professionalism. For this reason I have raised my star rating from 1 star to four.ORIGINAL ISSUE: We hired Mr. Electric to install some lights and reconnect some outlets in our office. We paid half up front and the electrician came out and started the work in a timely manner. My project manager called their offices sever times to coordinate a time to come out to complete the work and never received a call back. Today I decided to get involved and called the corporate offices and spoke to a receptionist who told me she left a message with the local Mr. Electric franchise office owner. I asked to speak to someone in the franchise management group and was told that would not be possible. About an hour after that call I received a call from a representative with the the local Mr. Electric who apologized for not getting back with us and said there was no excuse. He also told me that obviously there would be no refund because some of the work was done. When I signed the agreement it was to have all of the work done, but since we could not get anyone at Mr. Electric to return our calls I had to pull in Phos Electric to finish what was started. Our project is now behind schedule and the time wasted going back and forth with Mr. Electric is more than the cost of the partial work that was done. I do not see how dropping the ball, failing to communicate to your customers, and wasting our time is a good representation of the Mr. Electric franchise. I also do not see how its obvious that I would not receive a full refund for incomplete work and zero communication or responsiveness to the point I had to pull in a different electrician.For the record, all that Mr. Electric had to do was answer our calls so we could coordinate and schedule the work. That alone would have been more than sufficient to maintain customer satisfaction. Failing that the second thing Mr. Electric should have done was fully refund the initial payment for an incomplete.See pictures of the work that was done and left incomplete.NOTE: Initial call was on a Friday. A total of three calls were made by my PM and not responded to. I made a call today (Friday 7 days later) and finally received a call back.

We had several quotes from companies some where higher and some were just slightly lower. We needed a whole new panel box and wiring. Which we knew wasnt going to be cheap. Our box was super old !! (which we had NO idea how bad our box was until Jeremy came out ). Jeremy was the only technician that had actually taken the time to take paneling off inside of the box and told us how bad it was. We had wires that had melted !! and we were not grounded.Not one other technician did any of that. All we kept hearing from them was how many years they had been doing this and they do this kind of thing all the time. Which is good and all but we wanted someone that was going to give us a quote and not get us with additional charges that needed to be done that they didnt catch at time of quote. I called for a quote late in the day and they dispatched a technician early the next morning. I was hoping for a workup & quote for several near term projects. Instead several items were completed the same day for a reasonable price. Trevor Cartwright is quite the young professional. He knows his stuff for sure and I will be asking for him on future projects. Type of work completed was extending power outlets to a new area in a large workshop, repairing an unsafe/burnt outlet, and fixing a damaged pool pump electrical system. Trevor was prepared for anything thrown his way!!!
