Our overall experience with Generac Supercenter of Tulsa was positive. During my initial visit to the office located on E. 41st Street in Tulsa, I saw several displays of equipment. Anissa at the front desk alerted Garrett to my presence, and he soon came from the back. He explained in laymans terms what I was looking at and how it all fit together. I asked for a home visit by a sales consultant. Kyle, the sales consultant, came out in August. He spent an hour or so answering my questions, surveying the property for location of the generator, as well as the gas and electric supply. Kyle recommended the 22kw generator for us. He said that a new electrical panel would need to be installed, which I knew already since it was a vintage 1959 Zisko panel. Kyle put a pencil to it all, even including an extra $300.00 in the event that I chose to bury the gas line as opposed to mounting the pipe to the outside wall. We agreed on the price, choosing the 22kw over the 20kw because the larger unit was on sale and cost less. Installations were booked out several weeks, so the installation didnt occur until the last week of September, 2024.Diego, the journeymen electrician, was in charge of the installation. His crew of young men worked well together. J.W., an apprentice electrician, worked on dismantling the old Zisko panel, while Hunter wired up the outside. Cameron assisted ably, as did Brad and Aaron. Tyler, the plumber, and Tré, his helper, were both low-key individuals who willingly accepted my decision to locate the generator in a spot farther from my living room, thus requiring more work for them. Generac Supercenter pulled the required permits from the city of Sapulpa, the cost of which was figured into the total price. The inspector seemed pleased with what he saw, and slapped a green approval sticker on the gas pipe and left. After the unit was installed, a follow-up appointment with Michael came last week. He installed the monitoring unit on the Generac since we opted for the continual monitoring program. Michael did the job and told me that Id be able to download the Mobil Link and connect to the system thereby enabling us to monitor our system wherever we are. I didnt do this immediately, as I wanted my wife to be with me so that we could both see how the app works. Well, it didnt work because the monitoring unit Michael installed was faulty. That necessitated another call to the office. Anissas telephone skills have improved since my first few calls. Shes more vibrant and sounds more invested and willing to help. She transferred me to Ashton, Garretts brother. Ashton was affable and set us up for someone to come out today, Monday, October 7, 2024, to replace the faulty monitoring unit. The window was noon to three. Sometime after 2:00 p.m., I called the office and Anissa connected me with Garrett. I explained that I wanted my wife to be able to monitor our new Generac on her phone using Mobil Link. Garrett, as patient as Job with my questions, explained that my wife would have to log into Mobil Link using my username and password. We had that done by the time Aaron, yes, the same Aaron, arrived to replace the monitoring unit. After replacing the unit, Aaron patiently explained how we would activate and use Mobil Link to monitor our Generac.I have but two recommendations for Generac Supercenter of Tulsa. First, tell any hands crawling under a house in a crawl space to beware of cables and landline telephone lines. Mine got pulled loose. Caused a few days of needless grief with Cox Communications. My second recommendation is to instruct the person installing the monitoring device to make sure it works, and assist the customer with setting up Mobil Link before leaving. For the price you pay, itd be a decent consideration. Besides that, it would eliminate phone calls to the office as well as requiring another truck to roll back to a residence. You asked for a review, and I promised you a thorough, thoughtful one. You told me to call with any questions or problems. I will. Thank you.

After the service he cleaned the generator to the point it was spotless & he picked up after himself! If you are considering the whole house generator. let me tell you about Sunday July 7. I was watching outside as the storm hit and the neighbors tree fell. My generator kicked on before the tree finally settled on the power lines. The neighborhood was without power for 8 hours. My house was without power for 30 seconds. Peace of mind!!

Trent Lewelling answered my call at 9 pm on a Friday when the power went out in my neighborhood and my generator did not come on. He was here in 20 minutes as promised, rapidly identified and fixed the problems, was very professional and provided advice on regular maintenance. The service he provided was excellent and the fact he arrived so quickly on a Friday night after hours was incredible customer service that is hard to find today.

I have two Generac units, one at a rental (came with purchase) and one at my personal home (had Generac install). Both Juan (phone) and Brice (phone and on-site) were so helpful when I reached out with service questions after both units had been running for days during the Fathers Day storm (your supposed to check the oil after 72 hours of continous running, oops). I can only imagine the pressure they were under, neverthless, they were both repeatedly professional, polite, helpful and patient. Thats high praise for any business on any normal day but gosh in the middle of the storm chaos it was so comforting to be on the receiving end of that level of support-I was very impressed.The units themselves have operated flawlessly. I had Generac service the older one that came with the house I purchased after I closed and signed up for the annual maintence and monitoring. Its worked perfectly via the Moblelink app. The unit at my personal home I had installed during COVID and at that time the world was deep in supply chain issues. For that reason there was a wait of roughly six months, completely out of anyones control. Other than that wait Ive been very impressed and happy in every way.
