    We hired SB Plumbing & Electric to install electrical wiring and mount/install multiple ceiling fans and a kitchen light fixture. We are extremely happy with the work Shawn, Nathan, and Amy provided and their insistence to completing everything in 1 day. They even replaced a couple broken/worn out outlets that werent part of the original job. They were very polite, professional, cordial and a pleasure to have in our home..     Shawn and his coworker did an excellent job! I actually called him relatively late in the work day and he came to our aid after finishing another job. Our power was interrupted in several outlets throughout the house following a storm. The job seemed a little frustrating initially but with their expertise and persistence they got the job done in great time. Would definitely recommend!!

    Had water backing up into my basement, I wish I had asked his name but he was polite, informative, respectful, and most importantly fast.He also didn’t judge us for the state of our basement considering we have dogs and 3 kids (how it looked despite the water damage)

    The guys with SB Plumbing and Electrical were very courteous and professional. They were easy to work with, and were very up front with costs, where they would come from, and if things were going to cost a little more due to unexpected difficulties. They installed a dishwasher for us, along with the associated garbage disposal, and they have worked beautifully for us. No leaks, and they completed the job (including two runs to Lowes) in an afternoon. Very pleased with the work.

    We called SB Plumbing about a broken kitchen faucet. It was a Saturday, and we were having trouble finding a local plumber who worked weekends. Then we saw an ad about a local 24/7 service called SB Plumbing and Electric. We called, got an answer right away and booked an appointment. The owner and his son showed up next day, a Sunday, quickly diagnosed the problem and drove across town twice to purchase the needed parts. Thanks to SB Plumbing, we not only have a very nice looking kitchen faucet, we also have adequate water pressure. It’s a major improvement! SB is now our go-to business for any future plumbing and/or electrical needs. They’re hard workers, very professional, and friendly. Reasonable prices. We are glad to have found them.

    This was the first time using SB Plumbing and it won’t be the last. We had a kitchen faucet leak and they repaired that and even replaced the old, ugly, limed up faucet that I’ve hated for years. We will be doing a complete remodel of our bathroom next year and hope that they will be able to do the electrical and plumbing for that.We have since had to have our electrical panel repaired….well, replaced. Can’t say enough about Shawn & Amy….professional yet very personable. They finished up in half the estimated time and are so thrilled and don’t feel like we overpaid.

    Our basement sump pump went out on an evening a few days before Christmas. While we managed to get our back up working, we were worried about getting someone out quickly as the water kept coming. I googled plumbers in Troy and this company had great reviews. I phoned at 8 AM and while they were busy, they were at our house at 11AM! Super pleased and will use again.

    Had our water heater go down the day before Independence Day and he was not available. So, had him come out on July 4th to look at, and eventually have to replace, the water heater. He was very timely arriving, work diligently to find issue, and very straightforward and honest with what he found. Had to replace, so off he went to pick up my new tank. He, and wife Amy, returned to finish installing new tank. Ran all the faucets to get air out, lit the pilot light, and away we went.!! He was in and out within just over 2 hours. Great job, extremely friendly, cautious with our house (safe), and would DEFINITELY recommend him for your plumbing job! I know the next time I have something come up I will be giving them a call again!! Thank you so much!!He is also a Veteran, as am I, so I am proud to give them my business!!

    Shawn responded quickly to our call concerning a loss of power to a portion of our home. Although it was not an easy problem to locate, he traced the issue to a garage light that had an intermittent connection, (open neutral), that caused the failure. They came out the very next day and we had our hot water back very quickly. They were so efficient, we got an estimate for them to come back to repair our slow running bathroom sink faucets.They returned and were again efficient and professional. They made quick work of repairing the sink pipes. The faucet runs so well now that we actually had to turn down the water pressure. Even better, the final bill was less than the estimate (how often does that ever happen?)We will be calling SB Plumbing and Electric or ALL our plumbing and electric needs in the future!

    In the process of changing out bathroom sink in my Moms house, I turn off the hot and cold, which of course they dont completely shut off, nothing is easy with plumbing and keep in mind this was on Sunday 1-2-2022. So Monday morning I call SB Plumbing and explain my troubles, this was 8:00am the following day. Shawn said I should be there by 2 THAT day. I get a call at 1:00 saying hes on his way. It took an hour only because he had to go back to store because neither side was same size, image that in an older house. BEAUTIFUL job with great professionalism. I would highly recommend.

    Our first experience with Shawn was a minor electrical job that was handled quickly and completely. A couple of weeks later we woke to a broken water heater with water in our utility room and master bedroom. Shawn showed up within 20 minutes, called a friend who does carpets and arranged for him to arrive in an hour! Shawn called the manufacturer and arranged for a free replacement water heater and had the job complete within 3 hours! Customer service at its best! Will not hesitate to call him again and recommend his company highly!

    My shower knob stopped working this morning and I couldnt turn off the shower. Turned off the water to work on it only to find the internal core went bad but I couldnt get it out. I called SB Plumbing and they set me up with an appointment a few hours later. I continued to work on it eventually buying a core puller to attempt to do it myself. Just before he repair man was about to show up I got the core replaced but it was still dripping. When he called to tell me he was on his way I explained the situation and he walked me through a few possible scenarios that could be the problem. I went ahead and told him to come anyways.He was 9 minutes from my house when I talked to him. I bought two cores so i swapped the new ones out and go figure it fixed it just as he got to my house. Gentlemen came up looked at the shower double checked my worked and said grats you fixed it yourself. He was super nice and explained that sometimes the parts are just faulty. He didnt charge me anything even after looking over my work.I will be calling SB Plumbing for all my future plumbing work based on this experience alone.
