They were involved in a residential renovation and in new construction, handling all things electric and solar, and phase 1 and 2 environmentals. Seed Solar and Engineering was wonderful. We considered solar panels and the different options for quite some time before Seed Solar came into our lives. They made the entire process a pleasure, from planning through execution. It was clear that renting panels from one of those other agencies was not a good alternative. Seed Solar did the planning, applied for the permits, the state rebates and the financing. They performed the installation perfectly with no mess, an attractive finished product and a clean up with nothing left behind but a beautiful job.

In 2017, Cris and the group from Seed Solar installed a 60 panel, ground mounted array at our place to power our house, barn, and pool house. The array has worked beautifully for us- we are extremely pleased! There was a technical issue a few months after the installation, which Cris addressed promptly and at no charge.Cris has also helped us with the WiFi delivery to our pool house, which was not straight forward. He is very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as being an all around decent human being.

We met Cris about 8 years ago at an Energy Fair. We talked to him about solar panels and immediately liked him and then found out he was from the same town as us-Schodack. My wife and I had been thinking about installing solar panels for some time. We decided to have Cris stop over and give our place a look to see if it was right for solar.If we cut down a few trees it was perfect. We signed a contract, cut down the trees and Cris started work. Cris did all the paperwork from the building permit to applying for the incentives and tax breaks.In no time at all our little solar “farm” was up and running. It’s been 7 years now and we couldn’t be happier. It has saved us a ton of money.Cris is a top notch guy. A former volunteer of the year in Albany, you won’t find a better person. My wife and highly recommend Cris and his company.

Seed Solar saved the day! I needed a new roof and because my solar company closed down I had to find another company to remove my panels( I wasn’t putting them back up ).I was getting quotes from 4 to 8 thousand dollars to remove and reinstall the solar system. I was shocked and was going to cancel my roof job.Seed Solar was a fraction of the cost to remove the panels, allowing me to get roof done. Marcos and his team were outstanding and great to work with ! Trust me you are not going to get a better deal and if interested will help you sell your panels to recover some of your cost. Every roofing company should have Seed Solar on speed dial if similar issues occur. I highly recommend Seed Solar for all your Solar projects!

Im so happy that I found Cris and his team at Seed Solar doing an online search. Last week they finished a roof install of solar on my house. I have a background in engineering so I was interested in their components, plan for installation, and all aspects of the mounting and wiring.
