Hunter came out as scheduled and did a fantastic job and stayed with it until we had household water again. They are truly customer service oriented people.

Chris called to let me know that he was on his way which is important to know even though he was arriving within the time setup. He was very courteous and professional and spent a good bit of time cleaning the outside A/C units. He checked filters and made sure everything was working well before leaving. Ive had a maintenance contract with Holtkamp for many years and they honor this agreement and fulfill servicing 2 systems twice a year, plus are readily available should anything come up regarding service of my units. Holtkamp is the Best!

Professional, courteous, respectful, with attention to detail. Holtkamp knows their stuff, theyre honest and dont try to cheat you. They stand behind their product and their service is top notch. They dont complain if the call is late in the day. Ive seen them go out of their way more than twice. We had a unique complicated issue last year, and they handled it quickly, professionally andat no cost to us.... Oh and the hot sauce. Ask for the hot sauce.

After receiving my biannual check up, the technician left and said all was good. However, that evening my furnace did not turn on and it was below 30°. I called the after hours hotline and Trey Saxton called me back immediately and came out to my house at 8:30 at night and went and fixed the furnace to make sure that I had heat overnight. I want to commend and say what an amazing customer experience Trey Saxton provided even late at night in the midst of chaos. He remained professional and very friendly to fix and correct the issue that occurred as part of my regular maintenance by another technician. When replacing our entire A/C unit, thermostats and furnace, we had the choice to choose between Holtkamp and another company, and I can honestly say, we made the best choice going with Holtkamp. Meeting our salesman Matt and getting to know him as a person and his 30 years of technician experience made us feel very comfortable. He did not try to push us into purchasing anything which kept the meeting stress free. He simply provided us with the information we needed and was extremely knowledgeable. On top of that, he worked very hard to get us exactly what we needed which made the experience more enjoyable. I cant say that about most big home repairs.Now onto Brandon, Kevin and Angelo....They were our on site installers and were so hard working, Im just blown away. This was not an easy job and they worked very long and hard hours. They were all very professional and fun to have around. I was home working with my very curious 2 year old and did not have to worry for a even a second that something would go wrong and my son enjoyed watching our very patient installers work. I had a bumpy start when I called in with a service need as I have a service maintenance contract so I was surprised and disappointed at the same time when I found out later that the answering service did not forward my concern. It was a Saturday morning and they told me I would have to wait till Monday before someone could come out to service my AC unit. My upstairs unit went out and we were gonna suffer through but I thought I would call again late Saturday night and leave a message for the office manager thinking I wouldn’t get a response back until sometime Monday. My phone rang almost immediately after leaving the message and it was Brandon, the on call tech. Brandon said he could be out within the hour. It was very late but he came out and had our unit up and running in no time. That meant so much to me. Brandon was amazing and so very professional, friendly and nice, not to mention being a life saver with getting our AC unit up and running again as it was an extremely hot night. I highly recommend HoltKamp for your HVAC needs. Thanks again Brandon. You are number one in our book. The answering service is not very reliable but the service you receive afterwards more than makes up for it. Oh, and I hear they have great plumbing service too…I’m planning on contacting them for some plumbing needs. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes.

Our outdoor unit started making loud noise, So I called HOLTKAMP after looking at the reviews on Nextdoor app and Google. And every review was right on the point. From the beginning HOLTKAMP team was very helpful and was ready to accommodate our time. Matthew is one of the most professional, respecting and caring person that I have met in all these years, all points to him in explaining the issue and giving the multiple options. We end up in replacing the furnance, Mathhew came on time and not only changed the furnance but also fix the issues with Thermostats.I would highly recommend HOLTKAMP for any HVAC need. Great job Matthew in maintaining the culture of keeping customer first and foremost.Update (10/21) :- The outdoor compressor started making the loud sound, I called HOLTKAMP and they were able to send the Technician, Kevin, on same day. He was able to identify and fix the problem in few minutes, it was a cut off switch issue. I will give 5 star rating to HOLTKAMP for their prompt responses and customer service.

Holtkamp runs a great HVAC company. The techs who come out are always knowledgeable and friendly, they must track customer things in their system because they seem to really remember my dogs name...little things that make an experience better. This company has the feel of a family run business but the convenience/customer service technology of a bigger company (i.e. appointment reminders, texts, emails, easy to communicate with). Brandon came out to install a control board that he helped diagnose a couple months prior. He remembered everything about the problem and was in and out with the install. Price was fair and they even worked with me on it because I had bought the whole system from them but this board wasnt replaced with the whole system because it was still in its useful life (I appreciated that, less e-waste...keep using whats working). 5+ more years from this Honeywell board and less in the landfill. I highly recommend technician Kevin Krasnicki of Hotlkamp in the Atlanta area. Kevin is VERY knowledgeable of both central heat and air systems and specialty filters. For routine service, he performs an extremely thorough service that ensures both safety and efficient operation, and when my a.c. failed, he was both knowledgeable enough to properly diagnose a low voltage disconnection AND also so skilled that he fixed it himself quickly on the spot even though it required a lot of effort. Hes also honest and does not try to sell you things you dont need yet and will show you parts that do need replacing so you see it for yourself. I always ask for Kevin for my home in the Atlanta area! He is first class! (The Holtkamp annual service contract is a bargain, and you get thorough service.)

Update: 7/18/2024 - My HVAC unit (American Standard) is still running great. I still use Holtkamp to service it twice per year and, although everyone there is knowledgeable and provides great customer service, Brandon Hamilton is a cut above. I always ask for Brandon Hamilton because of: 1. his extensive knowledge gained through years of experience, 2. his ability to explain in a clear and easily understood manner, answers to any questions I might have and 3. his professional yet down to earth demeanor.If you are considering Holtkamp for your HVAC needs, look no further because you have found the best company available. You cant go wrong with Holtkamp.Original Post: I was able to milk my Heat Pump Air Handler unit for a couple more years before it finally had to be replaced. But at that time I had 2 highly advertised well known companies in the area and Lowes provide me with replacement cost estimates for their Trane and Carrier systems. During the process I learned about the different brands, the differences between company warranties and manufacturer warranties, where the products where actually made and the trustworthiness of the 2 aforementioned unnamed companies who each spoke poorly of the other. That type of sales tactic and the high pressure buy now sales tactic did not instill much confidence in me. Plus, I wasnt too impressed with Trane as that is the product my brother owned and had had quite a bit of trouble with it.So when, 2 years later, my AC quit working for good in the middle of summer I first researched on Consumer Reports for the best Heat Pump Air Handler brands and found that Trane and Carrier were not at the top. (This was a few years ago, I dont know where they rank now.) American Standard rated better than either Trane or Carrier and so did a couple of other brands. So I decided to get estimates from 3 companies selling those products and abandoned Trane and Carrier altogether.The best sales experience, the best pricing and the best customer service along with what I had determined was the product I wanted, the American Standard, was all received from Holtkamp Heating and Air. They did NOT charge anything extra because of it needing to be installed quickly because mine had conked out completely in the middle of a hot summer.I have had the unit now for several years and I use Holtkamp to service it twice a year. Installation went smoothly although it was an all day job. For my service appointments, the technician is always on time, there is great communication between the company, their tech and me, the customer. My home has been comfortable ever since the American Standard was installed. And in June, Mr. Matthew Holkamp himself serviced my unit. And went the extra mile to help me remove some used mouse traps and replace them with new ones. My air handler is in the attic and Im a wimp. I dont like going up there. I asked Mr. Holtkamp if he would help me out and he was kind enough to do so. He also setup the humidity control on my thermostat and showed me how to set the Nexia app on my phone for easy monitoring and control.I cant say enough good about this company. Go with them and you wont be disappointed.

Zach Rhoades came same day on a Saturday, and was even early for his appointment. He quickly diagnosed the problem (failed outdoor compressor), gave us the cost breakdown, and fixed the problem. We had cold air in minutes. Holtkamp is not the cheapest game in town, but they are always reliable, professional, and we will continue to use their services.

Im adding to my previous post (review). Two months ago Holtkamp (Technician Angelo) installed a NEW heat pump. The heat pump is great. The employees that I dealt with are knowledgeable, efficient and polite. I really like dealing with a small family owned company.I had issue, AC unit wasnt working properly (turn off/on and at one point wouldnt come on). Technician, Brandon, came out and AC unit was working quite soon. Brandon is knowledgeable, polite and nice. I will most likely be using Holtkamp Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. again.

Great group of folks at Holtkamp. This business has lots of competition and I am always fielding calls to replace Holtkamp for less cost and I always say no as I know good service is worth paying for.

The AC unit clicked off and wouldn’t work at all. We got a referral from Adria Harding to use this company. We called on a Friday. We received an appointment for Saturday (3-5 PM).The day of the appointment, our service guy (Pedro) was actually able to check & repair our unit 3-4 hours sooner than expected!Pedro was professional, knowledgeable, courteous & did an excellent job in a timely fashion.We are SO pleased with our experience with this company. I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

I finally had to part ways with my previous annual maintenance contractor, and spent weeks studying the reviews of all the Trane and American Standard shops servicing my area.This was only the first visit - the fall inspection. It appeared that Kevin was VERY thorough. Holtkamp appears to charge substantially more than several other companies I checked, BUT it appears their maintenance inspections are equally more thorough.Kevin did find one item that needed replacement (a pressure switch) and suggested cleaning the squirrel cage - of which he took pics of to show me (!). While I thought the price for doing that cleaning was, um, well, high, I also know that that has NEVER been done since the system was installed fifteen years ago, so Ill take it. Ill add to this review when he comes back to do that work.Well see how they do over the next year, but right now Im VERY pleased with the apparent quality of work.

I was having a problem with my house not cooling down to the temperature set on the thermostat. I called Holtkamp and they sent out one of their associates to check the system. He performed a very thorough check of the unit outside, the duct work in the attic as well as the unit in the attic. He explained what he found and the different options I had and answered all my questions. I ended up getting a new replacement system and also decided to zone my townhouse. The pricing was fair and they did negotiate a little. When it came time to install the new system to my surprise the owner, Matthew Holtkamp, actually showed up and was there the entire day to install the new system along with his associate Ray. This I believe shows a lot about his character and dedication/commitment to his company and employees. Once they were done everything was running great and my house is cool again! I would definitely recommend this company. Also I forgot to mention they have a great warranty also!

Our AC went out on a Sunday night. We called Holtkamp Monday afternoon and they were there within an hour. After evaluating our older system, they determined we needed a full replacement and gave us pricing options. They also offered us short-term 0% financing plans. Even the cheapest option was a great one, which is why we chose it. They started work on a Friday, but were unable to complete all the work same-day because they needed to get a couple of specialty parts. One technician came out the next day (even after closing time) to continue the installation. We now have nice cold AC and a comfortable home again. The only downside was the mud and dirt on our new carpet. They put down drop cloths and wore shoe covers, but there were still a lot of ground-in marks. Special shout-out to Robbie, John, and Brandon. Youll be making an excellent choice with Holtkamp -- we sure did.

Chris came out when my AC died and it was 90° outside. 83° in my house with 100% humidity. I had previously determined by speaking with others that I had a problem when told to check a few things.Chris came out the next day exactly at the time they gave and found that I had a bad capacitor on my outside unit. He promptly replaced that and was on his way in a very short time. I have always used another HVAC company, but I have made the switch, and I am very happy with the service

Holtkamp is always very responsive when I call them. There technicians are very professional and thorough and always explain your options clearly and completely. Brandon was my latest technician and he stayed until my issue was resolved and the fee was very fair and reasonable. Holtkamp also supports our local Aurora theatre and I’m sure other worthy community projects.
