Highly recommend Snell these guys are honest, hard working and quick to respond! Byron and Eduardo from Snell Home Services did an amazing job installing the new Meter panel and disconnect switch. They were professional, knowledgeable and hard working. We had Dominion in our Neighborhood putting our Electrical lines underground and removing our poles. Bryon and Eduardo did a great job on their part of this project, Thank you Sean O, Bryon and Eduardo for being on top of things. I am very satisfied with Snell.

I recently used Snell to perform some electrical work for some built-in shelves which used slim/canless recessed lights as well as a couple of recessed lights in the ceiling above and they were able to come in and start the job and finish it completely and under four hours installing a new switch and daisy-chain connected all the recessed lights on both sides of the fireplace to this single smart switch (which I supplied the lights and switches and cut-ins for lights). This part of the project was crucial to my built-ins to incorporate more lighting with a more modern look from which you can see from the photos of the project in progress after their work. I must admit I was a little apprehensive to use Snell for this work since they recently acquired 4 Service pros which I’ve used for years, but the electrician, Akeem and his colleague were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and perform service with a smile. I highly recommend their electrical work.

We have been buying and installing HVAC systems in our homes for over 30 years and the Snell sales and installation process was an experience that blew me away. Upon arrival technicians took time to go over the order of the day and what to expect. I can tell they are very knowledgeable in their crafts. The way Everything looked after the installation (New ducts, Lennox equipments, electrical components etc), one would think the equipments were installed by AI engineers. Gabe worked me through everything that was done while the rest of the crew cleaned up and left my house spotless. Snell should be very proud of Josh, Garrett, Gabe and Ish for representing the company.GO TEAM SNELL!!!

From the first interaction with the representative that scheduled my visit to the first interaction with our technician, I felt confident we made a good decision between a few other vendors that also seemed promising. Our technician, Alex didnt take shortcuts or try and speed through a resolution. He was professional and very knowledgeable - serious subject matter expert. We’ve been on a membership plan with Snell for two years and have had great experiences. This winter, both of our AC and Furnace units went down on the same day, which we only caught thanks to good work from our technician Joel.Joel and Christian worked extremely fast to get Christian on site that afternoon and size/quote new units. We have young children and they accommodated our schedule, putting a rush request out for next day service.The next morning, Nick, Maximus, Greg, Yao, and Owen were there 10 minutes early and spent the entire day installing and testing our systems to perfection. They were extremely professional and walked us through each step. We could not have had a better experience, and their commitment to the customer was clear and genuine. We will be recommending them going forward as always.

Eduardo Cabrera responded within an hour to my electrical emergency 2 days before Christmas. He quickly located and repaired the burnt wiring and replaced the old outlets. Thanks to his clear explanations of how the outlets function together along the grid, I came away with a good, basic understanding of how some of the wiring fits together. This has enabled me to plan for future upgrades, and he’s the one I’ve requested to do them. I was impressed by his personable, easy, manner. No high pressure sales talk. Just clear explanations and recommendations. He’s a great ambassador for the company.

Akeem our installer was excellent, proficient and very knowledgeable about the standby generator he installed. He cleaned up the site nicely and tweaked the installation of pipes to be sure they were level. He provided information on all the components of the system and patiently answered all our questions. He is professional and very articulate. In the future when service or maintenance is needed we will ask for him.

The install was a breeze, no pun intended 😁 Dan and Gabe were fun to have at the house for what feels like 12 hours they respected our space and house, moving, cleaning, and putting things back. They explained the system down to the smallest part. The electrician didnt meet the amazing job Gabe and Dan did. Highly recommend the HVAC installer Dan and Gabe and Snell!P. S. Put a call into Snell at 2.30 am about a heating problem, the technician ( Marcus ) arrived at 9am and addressed the issue at hand. 20 minutes later my heat was back on . Very professional...Immediate response...reasonable price.....very satisfied customer and hopefully only needed on tune ups on my system. l will be asking for Marcus for my technician here on out!

One humid afternoon this December we smelled gas leaking from our furnace, called the utility who diagnosed a leak and shut off the gas. Fearing a long stretch of cold nights, we called Snell (as theyd serviced our system previously) and they sent someone out the next day! The diagnostician then spent an hour scoping and detecting any and all problems with our system, eventually finding several cracks deep within the heat exchange. With repairs looking to cost nearly 70% of that of a full replacement, and the system being 16 years old, we decided to look at a replacement. That would have to be handled by a different representative who specialized in determining specific system needs for our house and setup. Good news, though, they could have this next person over to our house within an hour! By now it was after dark and pushing past dinner time, but Aidan Wright was happy to come over and, being a very knowledgeable guy, help us figure out what the options were without being in any way pushy or salesman-y.Then I brought up heat pump systems, which would replace both the furnace and the A/C. Well, the A/C was also 16, which is the expected life of that system, so I know Id be having problems with that in the near future. Aidan explained all about how the heat pump systems work and noted that theres a federal rebate available for them, which should help reduce the cost. Then looked to see what discounts Snell had on offer (they set the price, but they discount the price... still, looks good to the customer). We agreed on a system. By now it was nearly 8pm and I was signing the paperwork. Meanwhile, Aidan was scheduling a team to remove the furnace, ducting, tubing, and A/C system, which would be a 12-hour job.... for 7:30am the next day!Right on time, Alex, and his team of Cesar and Owen, showed up, explained the plan, and got to work. Throughout the day they worked, making sure to keep everything clean and neat, removing, then rebuilding our entire heating and cooling system, inside and out. They worked, to the best of their ability, to ensure that we would not need them for at least the next 10 years (but if we do, its under warranty). By the end of the day, we had a brand new heat pump system up and running, nice new ductwork and venting for the indoor area, and a new leveled outdoor unit, and everything was neat and tidy. Alex also made sure I knew how to use the fancy thermostat that they installed and what app I could use to connect with it.Great service, great teams, great response time, and very professional workmanship.

This is the third furnace Snell has installed for us. The most recent was a replacement of the full furnace and AC they installed years ago. Gabriel and Garrett were the installers and did an amazing job. The unit is on a platform 4 feet high, which made every aspect of the installation challenging. They worked over 12 hours to complete it, and did a very clean fabrication of the pan and ductwork and replaced the gas line, wiring and drains connected to the unit. Were very happy with the installation.

My thermostat quit on me and I needed an appointment quickly as my parents were coming the next day. I called Snell around 9pm and the technician, Italo, showed up around 11am the next morning. He was punctual, polite, professional, and very friendly.He troubleshot the thermostat, and when it became apparent it was the issue, he went to his truck, grabbed a new one, and had it installed quickly. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and always asked me if I had any further questions.I cant speak on price comparison because this was essentially an emergency situation and I did not have time to shop around for different rates. I can only hope that I got the best deal they could offer. However, I was very pleased with the responsiveness and the service I received.

We had a very nice experience as our technician Eduardo was able to troubleshoot problem areas and discover the solutions. He is very knowledgeable and a joy to work with during the process. He is very pleasant and professional in his work ethic. I would recommend him to service your needs.Eduardo came back in a timely manner to install our fan motor for our bathroom and a ceiling fan for a bedroom. He recommended items for us to consider. He took his time to figure out things and installed these items with no complaints. It took an extra hour and a half for the jobs to be completed due to previous work that was done which he ended up fixing. He was so faithful and loyal to complete the job. He is a joy to speak with and has a great work ethic. I would recommend him for any work that needs to be done in your house.

Snell delivered exceptional and professional service like I have never experienced from a business. Michael, the technician, was an outstanding professional. He took his time diagnosing, repairing & replacing the damaged items in my HVAC system that were caused by faulty and improper maintenance by another contracted company that serviced my unit. Michael showed me all the damaged parts and the new parts he was replacing. He answered all my questions promptly and made excellent recommendations as to continued maintenance and optimal operating procedures. Michael covered his shoes while walking on my hardwood floors and cleaned up once finished. I’m highly satisfied with the professional work performed and have acquired them as my HVAC maintenance provider. I upmost recommend their services as their prices are comparable and within reason especially if you find yourself in need of emergency service. Try them, you won’t regret it. I have to tell you how exceptional Joe was at my home today. He was polite, very informative, gave very helpful advice and answered all my questions. He found two shut off valves that needed replacement and performed them with expertise. One was difficult and he had no issue with doing the extra work needed. We had Snell replace our heat pump and air handler and are thrilled with how everything turned out! Pete came out and took a look at our existing system and explained how everything worked and how Snell would go about replacing everything (including a lot of items that others dont). He went into detail with the different options that we had and helped us narrow down which system made the most sense for us. Daniel and George showed up on time for the install and were very friendly and explained everything that they would be doing. They kept us informed throughout the day and were professional and courteous of our home. After they wrapped up the installation, Daniel showed us how everything worked and walked us through all of the details on what they did. They left the area clean and their work looked clean and professional. We love the new system and couldnt be happier with the work that Snell did! We know that the quality of installation matters a lot with HVAC systems and feel like we got the best.

The technician Gary, from Snell in Fairfax VA, arrived exactly on time and was very professional. His inspection of our A/C was very thorough and he explained everything with the right amount of detail. He noted the unit was very clean with no debris and advised us on a good schedule to change the filters. He also noted that our basement drain was emptying slowly and helpfully suggested how to address that. I should also note that Snell’s communication with us was great. They reminded us about the appointment the day prior and texted in advance to let us know when Gary would arrive. All in all, extremely happy with the service.

Joel ( Rolando) is an enormous asset to your business. We hope he is as appreciated as much by the company as he was by us. One doesn’t run into a representative often who is both as technically proficient and interpersonally sensitive as he turned out to be. He dealt technically with diagnosing our heating problem in a way that instilled confidence and was able to communicate effectively with two senior citizens with only the most rudimentary knowledge of HVAC functioning. By the time he left we were comfortable that his “work around”would assure us of a comfortably heated home until a more permanent solution could be arranged. Kudos to Snell for retaining him!

The service was excellent. I had a lot more work done than initially I thought I would do at one time. The new pressure valve resolved the horrible noise when you turned on any water source. So, I decided to go ahead and have the hot water heater replaced since it was 20 years old. All repairs were made on the same day, and everything is working great. It feels good to have no worries for years to come with plumbing.

I got a few quotes when looking to replace the HVAC system in my old home. Due to the construction of the home, it seemed there were limited options for better air flow but Snell suggested an approach which hadnt been presented by the others and it sounded the most promising.Dan, James and Gabe arrived early on installation day and answered all of my questions before they got started. They were friendly and polite and kept me informed about where they were in the process throughout a very long day of work. Nearing the end, they helped me to understand the new thermostat and reviewed general maintenance tips for the system. They were respectful of my space and left it in good shape. Overall, a great experience.

Snell has been servicing my home for over 10 years now. They have replaced both furnaces and air conditioners in my home and I trust their knowledge on my systems. Jimmy, Loyd, and Vince have all been out in the past year or so to either complete my annual check ups or replace a part that needed to be replaced. They have all been professional and timely and I would have any of them back out if an issue arose.

Technician was great and efficient. I am not fond of your new notification software that reminds me at least once a day to make an appointment when it is made a month prior. That is quite an annoyance to manage. Even called to make sure my appointment was on your books and, indeed it was but was told to just ignore the reminders. I shouldnt have to. When an appointment is made, my email and text should be tagged, not continue to rotate in your automatic messages.

My comfort advisor, Christian Cho is an extremely knowledgeable advisor. He spent over two hours with me and my wife and answered every question we had. We were very nervous as we had never made a purchase like this before. But he made us feel so much more at ease. We had gotten two other quotes and each of the other advisor spent no more than 20 minutes with us. I highly recommend using Snell. Ask for Christian. He’ll do right by you.

Snell replaced 2 systems in my home. I had some difficulty when initially installed. The first installers made a huge cut through a section of wall, cutting a stud unnecessarily! It was a most ridiculous error. However, an installation manager came out, reviewed the install and agreed that it needed a ”re-do”. A second team that I’d call the “A Team” came back and made quick work of the necessary details. Nathan Owsley and Howard Shifflett are the best. They are detailed, knowledgeable, professional and creative. Snell still needs to send a drywall repair to correct the initial install snafu. I’ll update my review once that’s complete. Stay tuned.

I got very lucky and Byron to check power cabling and replace an old fan the same day. He is very experienced and was able to diagnose wiring to correct breaker box and that previous installer did the work correctly. what i liked about him was his friendliness and professionalism. He walked me through my options and i agreed to have him remove old fan and install the new one i was planning on doing myself. since his quoted price was fair, and i wasnt sure when i would get to do it myself, i trusted him to do it on the spot and he accommodated and made it work instead of rescheduling. now i have a brand new fan with lights and remote control. very grateful and happy with installation and will request him for future work.top notch service, almost felt like a VIP.Thank you Byron and Snell team

Rolando came out for an AC tune up as part of the annual care plan. I told him about a problem I have been having with water accumulation on the drip pan. The problem was not solved after Snell came out twice. He immediately identified the problem, took ownership of it and took care of it. I was a bit leery of the visit because of a bad experience I had with a different company that I will not name whose technician secretly sabotaged the system so that I will call them back for service. Roland was very knowledgeable and trustworthy in the way he communicated with me. I had no reason not to believe everything he said about the condition of my unit. This experience has helped me build some trust about Snell as an honest company. One star deduction is for not correcting the problem previously. Overall, I recommend. Give them a try!

Service with 4 Service Pros (now Snell) has always been good for me. Yesterday Rabindra B. came out to do the AC tune-up and condensate line cleaning. He was punctual, arriving at the beginning of the window. I’d received both a call and text letting me know he was on the way beforehand, and it provided a picture of the technician and even a map to track where they’re coming from if you want to see how long it may take for arrival. The tech was courteous and friendly, and he ended up doing a minor repair (he showed me pictures of everything, what the readings were, what they should be, various possible recommendations, and he wasn’t pushy at all). Happy with service as always.

Our experience with Snell Home Services was very positive. We called them to come take a look at a outside heat pump that was no longer working. Upon arriving, Rolando (technician) figured out that the system had not been working for some time, and needed a replacement starter to turn on. After installing the part, and starting the unit up, he ran a diagnostic test only to find that there was a leak somewhere in one of the two coils. He gave us a ballpark estimate of what it may cost to fix. He also gave us an option to have a someone else come out to assess the system and give us replacement options/pricing. After setting up the appointment, Julian arrived at the house a couple hours later to check out the system, and give us options as to what they offer. He was very understanding of our needs, and what we looking to do. He was very knowledgeable, and offered solutions instead of trying to upsell us something that we didnt really want. We ultimately chose to go with a Mini Split system. The proposal was accepted, and the install appointment was made for the following day. The next day three technicians came to install our new system, and remove the old unit. Gabe, George, and Dan were awesome! They were very respectful of our home, using shoe coverings and drop cloths from the front door, up the stairs, and into the master bedroom where the new system was to be installed. The team was professional, courteous, and went over each step of the install process. The install took about day. After the new Mini Split was installed, Gabe gave us a tutorial on working the unit and the remote. He also gave us one last walk through of everything that they had done (with photos) before we signed off on the invoice. I cant recommend this company enough. They were great from beginning to end. I would also like to mention that each time there was an appointment made, Snell showed up exactly on time, which is a huge plus in my book.

Matthew from Snell is a knowledgeable and professional engineer who educated us on our furnace and its maintenance. The folks at Snell’s service desk were phenomenal. I had an HVAC emergency and the system was literally flooding from a clogged drain pipe and broken condenser pump. They managed to fit me in less than two hours later.Let’s talk about the tech: Italo was amazing. He walked me through the whole process, helped me with understanding what went wrong and even pointed out another issue I have coming up with my system (sump pump is dead). He worked very efficiently and was extremely friendly.Speaking of the work, whoever did the draining system on my HVAC before I bought this house did a terrible job. Italo’s work on the other hand is so clean. When he showed me his work afterwords my only thought was “This is how it is supposed to look!” He took extra time to talk me through the age of my system and labeled things that had never been labeled before.When it came to the billing piece he gave me a full run down of what everything costs and the difference if I went ahead and got the service plan. It only saved me about $30 in the end, but if it means I am covered for maintenance by top-notch professionals like Italo, I am absolutely in for the process.Highly recommend, and I will be giving them a call to replace the sump pump in the very near future.Thanks!PS: Give Italo a raise!!! But I was notified via phone on 5/17/24 to see if the window time between 8:00AM-12:00PM would work for me. I accepted accordingly the change of window time. And within the same day I also received a reminder confirmation text of the time change and that a Technician will arrive between 8:00AM-12:00PM. Thereafter I received another text message within the same day for me to confirm this appointment. Then the day of appointment I received another text message informing me that a Professional Technician, Seth Thomas is on his way at 9:33AM. The communication with Snell and the customer (myself) was absolutely fantastic! Seth arrived in a timely manner and approached me immediately with the most friendliness and positive attitude after stepping into my home. I felt very comfortable and confident with Seth’s friendly demeanor immediately as he provided fabulous customer service with excellent integrity, honesty, professionalism, great communication skills, very knowledgeable, detailed and thorough with the maintenance of my heating and air conditioning system. I’ve dealt with many 5- star companies in the past, which really didn’t deserve otherwise. But my experience with Snell Home Services and Technician, Seth Thomas was absolutely great!
