The team did an awesome job converting our unfinished basement room into a livable space! Although they were more expensive than other quotes I received, the quality of work and their ability to pivot or adjust mid work-stream was worth the extra cost. Definitely going to use these guys again for complex jobs that need a high level of quality! -

I would give MJK six stars if I could. They completed a beautiful kitchen makeover. MJK was professional, courteous, prompt, and did great work on everything. The team helped me realize a long-standing vision of changing my kitchen and dining area to an open floor plan, and making better use of the space. I highly recommend MJK Improvements. -

We just got our first house and wanted to get rid of the carpet, in the photos you can see the before and after.Marlon was sooo responsive and flexible, was able to find THE perfect match to the existing floors in the house and was super quick and efficient on the installation of the new flooring. My husband and I are very particular about details and these guys work was amazing, totally recommend and if we have any other work in the house we will definitely will call again. -

We could not be more pleased with our experience working with MJK Improvements. The price was reasonable but more importantly the quality of the craftsmanship was excellent. Fantastic attention to detail. They were very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to keep our house clean throughout the project. Marlon does a fantastic job of communicating and coordinating. A great experience. We will certainly be using MKK Improvements for our next project. -

I have worked, and am still working with MJK Improvements on multiple properties; my primary residence as well as rentals. They have been fantastic to work with. Many things requiring many trades needed to be done, and they coordinated it all with their skilled professionals and network. All of their prices are competitive, and their work and communication are excellent as well. I plan on working with them for all our home improvements needs. Highly recommended! -

The customer service and quality of work are top tier. Ill continue working with MJK Improvements for other projects in my home. Marlon Sr and Marlon Jr renovated parts of our main floor and finished our entire basement. A lot of work done over 3 months, and we couldn’t be happier. The work was great, any small hiccup they handled with grace, and the result was what we had dreamt of. They are a true pleasure to work with and provide the best customer service of any home construction firm I’ve seen. I will definitely be using them again and referring them to our friends. -

MJK did a phenomenal job! We had interior trim removed / replaced / new installation, our stairwell painted, drywall repair, tile work in a bathroom and a bulkhead installed for a dryer vent. The communication was excellent during the estimating process, as well as during the job. Marlon Sr. and Jr. were so patient with me when I went back and forth on how my trim work should look, and were so professional & friendly in handling all of my one million questions. Jamal did an amazing job with drywall/ painting too! I appreciated how detail oriented, friendly and professional all 3 men were. They did a wonderful job with cleaning up each day, were always on time, and the finished job is exactly how I wanted it to be. There were no hidden costs - the price was exactly what the contract stated before the job began. If I could give more stars I would! This is the only company I will call for future work and recommend to others. -
