I had recently purchase a sauna for my house. However, after completing the build process of the sauna, the sauna heater needed to be professionally installed by a licensed electrician. So, my friend who was helping me build it, called Allied Electric, inc. and talked to somebody in the office. What I didn’t expect was for them to be available to come take a look at it that same day and rather quick as well. I needed them to give me a quote on how much it would cost to hardwire the sauna heater (it’s an 8kw heater) to my house.Alex Maclean (the electrician) came out to my house and was super friendly and very personable, awesome guy and very knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He explained everything very simple and gave me an estimate that day. Of course, the estimate he gives his clients may of course fluctuate by the end of the job being performed, be it extra materials, unforeseen and/or unexpected whatever it may be. However, he told me he would give his thoughts to his boss and get back to me via email with a quote.Later I got the email with the estimated quote for two electricians for 6 hours to install and hardwire my sauna heater (which was lower than what we had expected). And they said they could come out just 3 days after my initial call and same day quote. That is impressive.So, three days later, they showed up on time and completely ready and equipped to do the work and finish the work that day. Not only did they do a fantastic job hooking up and hardwiring my sauna heater to my house. They finished the job flawlessly in, get this, HALF the time they estimated. So, that in itself, speaks volumes.Alex and his partner work for Allied Electric. They put in the time and effort to learn and train for their skill trade and it shows. Alex is an impressive electrician. He knows what he’s doing and he does immaculately. Need I say more.Thank you Alex and thank you Allied Electric. -

Ive had Allied Electric do work for us a few times. First, after we bought the house, I had one of their electricians come out and check out the electrical to make sure everything looked okay. He also helped troubleshoot an outlet and worked quickly and efficiently so billing was very reasonable.While there, I had him give an estimate for upgrading our original fuse box to a breaker panel, with a higher amperage service. They quoted a very reasonable price and even though things took a bit longer than they expected and they had to use some more expensive parts because multiple circuits had been tied into individual fuses, they stuck with the original pricing.i recommend them to my friends whenever they need electrical work done and will be having them back out soon! -

If you need an electrician, look no further, call Chris at Allied Electric! Excellent communication, follow through and the best prices in Reno.We have an older home, that was in desperate need of more lighting. Chris sent Trinidad to the rescue! He installed seven ceiling canned lights and new switches. Also, changed light bulbs in our sky lights. Trinidad is Wonderful! He works fast, efficient and has tons of knowledge. He was on time, left our home cleaned up/organized while he took his short 40 minute lunch, vacuumed up the entire work areas when finished and he even had fun with our 122 pound dog and 9 month old grandson! PS....this is my first ever Goggle review! It proves how much I appreciate Allied Electric! Thank you Chris & Trinidad!!! :) -

Allied electric is a great company to hire, not only is Chris the owner a professional and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Alex and Trin are highly qualified and great at their job. They’re fast and efficient with high quality work and standards. I would hire this company to work on any of my jobs. -

Used Allied to have outlet installed for hot tub, and so glad I did! We had a couple other quotes and ran into some odd/off putting personalities in our home. When Trinidad from Allied arrived, he was professional, kind, honest And efficient. Got the job done in half the time estimated. Also all email interactions with Chris were answered in a timely and professional manner. Definitely a trustworthy company and I would use them again. -

Wonderful service! I had Allied Electric work on my property 6 months ago- they were fast, friendly and skilled. Fast forward to this summer, when some installers from another company incorrectly installed a range and blew out the power in my entire house. Chris had someone at my house within 2 hours to inspect the damage, turn the power back on, and confirm that it was the installers negligence that caused the damage. Not only did he offer to reduce my bill if I was not able to get a refund from the installer, he wrote a statement and emailed with the installers on my behalf to help me get a refund from the poor installation. I will never work with another electrician in Reno! -

They have done a couple of small jobs for us. Chris was very nice and helpful when discussing what we wanted. Alex did the work for each of our tasks - he was on time for each job, did fantastic work, and is really nice. They go out of their way to make sure the job is done right and you are satisfied.I highly recommend Allied Electric. -

My electrician was Trin Borrayo, and he got me the part-exhaust fan for my bathroom-he was on time, explained everything, the parts place ordered the wrong part, but he wasn’t at all outwardly upset, just ran down to HD and got the fan, took him5 minutes, and plugged it in❗️I’ll use Allied for every job I need taken care of as long as I live in Washoe County. I needed a new electrical outlet on a wall without one, a new light fixture installed and a dimmer switch added to my home. Getting around to these jobs can be tough, not knowing who to turn to. Chris arrived at my house with a friendly smile and well prepared for my tasks. I had been hoping to install an automatic light in my laundry room, and he even solved that problem for me with the installation of an occupancy switch that turns on when I enter the room. Who knew? He worked quickly and efficiently, and left me a very happy homeowner. I would definitely recommend Allied Electric. -

A huge thank you to Chris, Trin and Alex! What an adventurous 2 days. Trin was out at the house the same day I called and gave it his best shot in fixing our electrical issue, but unfortunately, as he worked on the repair, he determined that out issue would be a breaker box replacement and with fried wires became an emergency! With half of the power out in our house, we safely waited until morning. Chris contacted NVEnergy for an emergency shut-off, obtained the permit and had Alex out at the house first thing in the morning. Chris, thank you for your vigilance in trying to get NVEnergy out to the house, just to find out someone from NVEnergy kept cancelling the call and re-routing their technician elsewhere... after 4 hours we finally got someone to actually stop at the house for an Emergency Shut Off! Alex, your patience in this whole endeavor is noted and we appreciate you sticking around while NVEnergy finally decided to swing on by. You spent the whole morning trying to keep busy while you waited. We are sure that was very frustrating. After Trin completed his calls for the day, he came by to help Alex complete the transition from an old fuse box to a new breaker box just in time for the day to end. I do not provide reviews often, but there was no way I could not. Chris, Alex and Trin went above and beyond and we thank you for that! They have placed the bar high for other electricians. Keep up the good work. -

Excellent work and service! Today was the second time we used Allied Electric to install ceiling fans in our home. Trin was the electrician both times and he is very professional, personable, and does a great job! We will definitely have Trin and Allied Electric back to do more work for us. We would highly recommend them for your electrical work.
