Michael did an amazing job when we lost power during the storm in November 2024. Ive relied on him since to hook up an EV charger and add more sockets to our basement, and I highly recommend him.Just before thanksgiving 2024 we lost power, like almost everyone else in Seattle. Unlike everyone else, we still had no power five days later. I phoned a number I got on google, and they came to take a look. Our electrical panel appeared to have had long term water damage, to the extent our main breaker was so corroded it had fallen apart. These yahoos quoted me $18,000 to fix the problem, making all kinds of claims about code that turned out to be false. I said No Thank You. I was using a gasoline generator during the day to charge some big Jackery batteries, so we had the fridge working and the hot water pump, but no heat in the house. It got down to 48 degrees. When I realized my neighbors had power, one of them was kind enough to throw us an extension cable, but we still had no heat.I got Michaels number from a realtor friend, and after taking a look he quoted me a much more reasonable number. Michael does great work. Ive seen the inside of our panel and its very neat and tidy, not the birds nest that existed before he replaced it.Michael promised wed have power for Thanksgiving, and true to his word he was here late on Wednesday night finishing the job. So many people were still having fallout from the storm, but Michael got us power back for Thanksgiving. That also meant we got heat back. We are thankful!Michael has since wired up a 60 amp circuit for an EV charger, so my car charges 10 times faster than before. He installed four new sockets in our basement, where I had previously been running far too much off a single socket, like you see in movies right before a fire.All this work has been inspected and approved by the city.Michael got us out of the dark ages after the worst storm hit Seattle, without taking advantage of our situation, and with a super high quality of work. I have no hesitation recommending Michael.

Mike Brady of Brady Electric has helped us out on two occasions, most recently moving three 20A circuits from the back porch wood shop to my “new” inside wood shop location.He got me on his schedule very quickly and accomplished the job with excellent quality in less time than I’d expected. He understood my requests, asked the right questions, and made sure the new circuits/outlets were where I wanted. Like any electrical technician of this high caliber, his work is not inexpensive, but I consider it good value, especially considering the following:I was really pleasantly surprised that he was able to make these changes so that no drywall repair was required afterward by cleverly using existing conduit and junction boxes outside my shop area. He anticipated how I’d likely need circuits in both locations while the shop is in transition. I hadn’t asked for that, but it has proved extremely helpful.He is also great about following up to ensure that the job exceeded my expectations.I will certainly use Mike for future electrical work!

In the end my home needs more work than I anticipated. Mr Brady was professional and helped me answer questions I had about my current electrical setup. Great experience. You can clearly tell Michael enjoys his job. Got great vibes from the first time he picked up the phone. Seemed truly interested in helping me figure out a solution to my problem and didnt talk to me like I was an idiot. Michael is super comfortable to speak to and he involved me in the troubleshooting process (learned a ton!). Will definitely use Michael again in the future for electrical needs!

Very impressed and appreciative of Michael. We’ve had an issue with our breaker in our new build for about two weeks and exhausted every reason for why our dryer wouldnt turn on. Gave Michael a call and he had suspicions of the issue. Texted us that night a suggestion that was spot on and had a fix that night. Brady electric will be my first call going forward.

Michael was a pleasure to work with. He charged a very fair price and when the work went 3 hours instead of one the price didnt change. When he ran into trouble he refused to quit until everything was working the way it was supposed to. I would recommend Michael to anyone who wants any type of electrical work done.

Michael was super helpful troubleshooting an ongoing (4yr old) intermittent problem with a complicated radiant heat system. It took him all of ten minutes to figure it out and another five minutes to fix. Weve had two electricians and one heating and cooling specialist out here but they couldnt find the problem. He also quickly figured out why one of the kitchen outlets would trip the box when it didnt make any sense to us and one other electrician, because all of the kitchen outlets are GFI. Michael also completed a few minor projects really quickly. He is straight forward, obviously doesnt charge for unnecessary work (he could have duped us but didnt), hes really quick and I would hire him again. I definitely recommend him.

I inquired about getting an EB charger installed in my home garage.My experience with Brady electric was very positive and I would highly recommend Brady electric. It was refreshing to see how much pride Mike Brady had taken during the installation from educating me on the best options and recommendations to the follow up.
