We highly recommend Solterra!We recently built a garage with a roof designed specifically for solar. After interviewing six companies, we chose Solterra because they are a small, locally-owned business; because their price was competitive; because they had the best warranty; and because everyone we met really really knows what theyre doing.Kendall and Paige are great; more than once Solterras schedule had to change to accommodate the other contractors on our project and they were a breeze to work with. Every person who showed up to install every aspect (electrical, actual installation, fire compliance, etc.) was highly professional and clearly enjoying their career.And surprise! After our signed contract (yet well before installation), the panels we had chosen had a price drop, and Solterra passed the savings on to us. Unheard of; thanks Solterra!Our installation has been online for a week now, and even on a cloudy November day in the Pacific Northwest we love seeing those panels make energy from the light they get. So happy we did this; so glad we chose Solterra!

After a terrible experience with a national solar company based in Florida, we were connected with Aimee and the Solterra team thanks to a referral from our neighbors. And we have to say, the experience with Solterra was like night and day compared to the other company. Aimee herself was amazing to work with. She and the team were thorough, clear, respectful, and responsive. Solar is a little confusing at first, but she really took the time to make sure we understood all the seasonal and energy generation and billing nuances. And most importantly, they were meticulous with our design. With 25 panels going up on a roof with multiple skylights, we were really concerned about how it would look – and so was the Solterra team. Careful planning, conscientious layout, with focused attention on the aesthetics resulted in a layout that we dont even notice, now. It looks like its always been there and we couldnt be happier. The onsite team was amazing, efficient, respectful, punctual, and got the job done with minimal impacts on our day to day. All in all, we just cant recommend Solterra highly enough. Excellent business and one I strongly recommend to anyone looking to add solar to their homes. Kendall made the process seamless from start to finish with excellent communication, and they made sure I understood exactly what I was getting and how everything worked. Most importantly, this team makes sure youre getting what you want and need, and does not attempt to oversell or overpromise, which seems like a common problem in this industry. They take every precaution to understand what makes sense for your roof, for your houses location, and any obstructions that might adversely affect your performance.When there was a small supply chain hiccup (not their fault - it was a manufacturer issue), they offered to keep the schedule on time by instead using a superior product for the same price. This is the kind of customer relationship you should look for when youre investing in a 30+ year product. Based on what weve seen so far, were getting more performance from the system than promised, and everything is super easy to use and looks beautiful. Were really looking forward to this summer to see what solar harvest we can bring in for the year.(34x 410W panels)

We had our solar PV system and batteries installed during March 2024. SolTerra was the best value and did a fantastic and impeccable job. Marvin and his team did a great job with our project. He genuinely cared about doing a clean and precise job and treated our house like it was his own. Communication with SolTerra was clear and the process was smooth. They handled all of the planning with permitting and inspections, including with our utility company. Overall we had a great experience and have high confidence in our system!

I was amazed by SolTerra at every step. I was contacted immediately and handed a plan for solar panels, including placement, choices, cost and benefits. Since no one else gave me a hard copy, I compared every other proposal to SolTerra, and no one came close. Communication was excellent and I knew what was happening from start to finish. Installation was fit to my schedule and 24 panels were on my roof in 3 days. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They have my highest recommendation.

Ive since blocked them after they kept calling me and they continue to call me. Ive since received 11 calls. At the same time they started calling me ive been receiving Spoofed calls from the Federal Department of Energy(apparently a current scam as told by Chat GPT) those calls self terminate after a few seconds.Huge red Flag for this company IMO.

Solterra did a great job overall with our backup battery system installation, it is a wonderful system that has been working flawlessly and provides peace of mind knowing that if power from the grid is lost we will still have power. I appreciate everything done by Marvin, Aaron, Tim, Kendall, Paige, Neil and Rochele. They thoroughly explained the operation and answered all our questions. We already have a solar panel system from Solterra which was installed in 2018 that has worked great so adding the battery system was icing on the cake.

They installed our system ahead of schedule, in 1 less day than expected. There were no permitting or inspection issues, the inspector even had some positive comments about the installation of a cutoff breaker next to the car charger not just inside at the main panel.PSE was even quick to approve us to power on. The whole process from start to finish was only a few weeks. Better than the horror stories I had heard from neighbors.Its been 1 full year since power on and we are pleased. We have had no issues. We are above our production expectations and above our offset target.I rate them 5 stars for communication, ease of installation, price to performance, they quoted me systems within my stated budget, they were on time and a little ahead, and they hit production and offset targets.

The experience was very good, start to finish. The company was excellent at communicating schedules, expectations, and next steps. They have very professional project management, who did a great job making sure nothing (permits, inspections, electrification) fell through the cracks, and who kept us informed of the progress right through to project completion. We had a full electrical service upgrade done in conjunction, and the electricians were top-notch. The installers were prompt, pleasant, professional, and tidy. And our system starting exporting electricity as soon as PSE energized it, even on a short, cloudy, foggy day! I cant wait for summer, to see the production then!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Solterra for the installation of 32 solar panels, two batteries and upgrading our electric panel at our home in Redmond, WA. Their service was exceptional thanks to the outstanding efforts of two individuals in particular: Service Manager and Project Coordinator Paige, and Electrician Tim.Solterra’s initial explanation and subsequent installation of the panels was painless and their team was great. We got quotes from other companies but went with them as their approach is professional, clear and they were up front about when they might be able to start work (good solar installers are backed-up). They quoted a start date in April but were able to start in February. We had major problems with PSE who delayed our project considerably despite Paige personally chasing them (sometimes daily) to get our project back on schedule, which was truly appreciated.Tims expertise and dedication to our project was also clear.Our solar system went live in July and we’re now having fun tracking our production online with the Enphase app.In conclusion, our experience with Solterra has been outstanding and we highly recommend them to anyone considering the installation of solar panels.

The whole process from initial sales negotiations, contract signing, installation through initial operation went exactly as promised. There were no surprises. All questions and/or concerns were addressed satisfactorily in a timely manner. The high quality of installation work was quickly validated by county inspectors and subsequent connection to the power grid by the power company.All 27 panels are now working as advertised and producing electrical output even on rainy, cloudy days. On clear, sunny days they easily produce more electricity than we can use during daylight hours, so were able to export energy to the grid for which we get financial credit.If you are considering the installation of solar panels to supplement your electrical power usage I highly recommend contacting SolTerra.

Working with Nick was very easy. I had done my research on Solar and wanted to get them installed. Nick was very patient with me and after a few weeks(on my part) I was able to finally sit down with him and discuss my options with him. He was very through and explained every step and the timeline Id be looking at. A few week after the contract was signed I received a call and email asking if they could start the installation 2 weeks early. The installation was done is 3 day and the inspection was completed less than a week later. I was able to met back up with Nick after the holidays/vacations and he went over how the meter is read and showed me how to monitor the energy input and usage via their website. Cant wait for the summer to hit so I can really see some major savings.I will recommend SolTerra to anyone that wants to get solar panels.

I also believe they are part of a greater movement of moving towards alternative energy at a time when our federal government is turning away.In particular, I worked closely with Nick Richardson at Solterra, who was my initial point of contact with the company, and who continued to play an important role from the design of these projects through installation and final sign off. Hes passionate about solar, but does not try to oversell it. If anything, all the estimates/forecasts we received have been a bit conservative. Every step was completed ahead of schedule and faster than the forecast.The project was as smooth and painless for us as it gets - kudos to Brian and Marissa for working with us around a refinance that was going on at the same time!The installation was scheduled for mid-September, but was completed in the last week of Aug... in 3 days.The electrician and the installers were very professional, informed us of every step of the installation and did a beautiful job.If you are looking for a hassle free and professional solar provider, SolTerra is the one.

My first encounter with Solterra was by a recommendation of my friend John. He was very happy with the outcome of his Solterra installed solar panel system. I called him because I was working with a solar company called Solnrgy from Nevada who I had gotten in contact with by a postcard in the mail. I had realized at every turn they were disingenuous. Solterra was straight up from the first meeting with Jennifer Monaco representative, and all the way through the entire process. Solterra Rocks!!!

Nick and team did a great job delivering on our solar project. He broke down the state and federal incentives in a way a normal person can get their heads wrapped around. Our system was installed in three days, and is already producing above projections.One thing I really appreciate - was that Neil and team stepped up and cleaned our panels after install. I wasnt pleased with the initial look of the panels which appeared to have a film on them. Their team reacted to my feedback, reviewed pictures, and had them cleaned at no cost to me - even though that isnt typical for them. It proved to me that they react to customer feedback and take action. Hence my five star rating and recommendation.

Excellent service and product! I strongly recommend if you are interested in saving money and to fight climate change. If you’re switching from gas furnace to electric with heat pumps, panels help a lot. With the free SolarEdge app, it’s easy and fun to see how much electricity, money, and CO2 you are saving. They even installed our car chargers.

That didnt stop Emily from providing excellent service and information on our options. Any company that is honest enough to tell you their product isnt a wise investment is good in my book.

Instead of sharing 17 different options she made an educated recommendation and confident quote based on her many years of experience I could tell she was setting realistic expectations. She was conservative with ROI and installation timeline estimates instead of over promising. The installers were very polite and professional. Operations communicated clearly and set expectations. I can’t imagine a more positive experience and now I have Good Energy in my home!

I just finished my final walkthrough with Kendall Haynes to finish up the wonderful process they have in-place at SolTerra. It started when my wife and I strolled up to their both at the Electrify Expo back in 9/2023 and signed up for additional information.Over the next few weeks Kendall patiently took me through the process, worked up a proposal and gave me all the facts on what to expect in terms of costs and predicted system performance. He patiently checked in several times as my wife and I decided whether or not to pull the trigger.We decided to move forwarded and Kendall along with Paige Farris Kantrowitz helped guide us through all the pre-installation process. I didnt have to worry about permits for the most part. I did have to put in an application to my HOA for approval but that we really easy because SolTerra provided all the necessary documents that I needed for application approval. SolTerra worked with PSE on my behalf to make sure that work could start when everything was ready.The install process was also great. The entire crew was very polite and punctual each day they were on-site. I was especially impressed by my electrician, Caleb McDonell, who was very communicative of all the electrical work that he was taking care of for the installation. Even pointing out a few things with my existing electrical that he needed to correct to make sure the new solar panel system performed at a high-level.All-in-all, SolTerra delivered on their promise of a really smooth customer experience and Im now happily able to see how much energy my system is generating during the day. Its great to know that the days are getting longer which means more daylight to produce more energy to push back into the grid.Thanks to everyone at SolTerra. You have a 100% satisfied customer who will be an advocate for your services for many years to come.

SolTerra met or exceeded all of our expectations and lived up to their promises. They were willing to compromise on a due date in order to allow us to avoid an early withdrawal penalty on a banking issue. There was only 1 issue that we had with an installation feature and SolTerra resolved that to our satisfaction very quickly. They were also readily available to answer questions that we had regarding operation once the system was complete. The system has been in operation for somewhat over a year and our electrical bill has never been more that $14.00 which includes a minimum $12 or $13 simply for being hooked up to the grid. Were very happy with the system and with SolTerra.

Brian Carpenter has been instrumental in making sure this works for us from the first design ideas and costs estimates to understanding the net meter. He is always responsive to any phone calls, emails, texts and will follow up to find out answers if he doesnt have them. The installation crew and the electricians were all professional and knowledgeable. We asked a lot of questions and always felt we were a part of the process. And, we are literally selling sunshine. We got our first check for less than two months of energy producing which was almost enough to pay for a whole years of electricity at our house. We are looking forward to more years of making money from the sun and significantly lower electric bills. But, dont delay, the incentive package and buy back program do expire. We have nothing but great things to say about SolTerra. Kevin was our sales contact and he was awesome. Very understanding and patient with our questions, he walked us through the whole process. SolTerra makes the build easy. They take care of all the paperwork and permits. They are fantastic with communicating and we never felt out of the loop. Our steep metal roof in January made for a challenging installation, but once a weather window permitted, they were super fast. It only took 3 days. SolTerra is a fabulous company to work with. SolTerra has been the best to work with in every aspect of the process of our 27 panel system. We chose to go with SolTerra mostly because of our experience working with Nick Richardson. Nick helped us understand the details of our proposal and was readily available anytime we had questions throughout the process. The rest of the crew was wonderful as well. We received updates leading up to our install date and daily communication on the crews progress and next steps for the following day. The crew was thoughtful and very nice to work with. The electrician made sure to answer any and all of our questions. We had extra electrical work done to accommodate an electric vehicle plug for a faster charge. All in all, our experience was easy and seamless from start to finish. We could not be happier with how everything went and the savings we are enjoying by making our own energy from solar. We flipped the switch this week on our new solar power system! SolTerra was excellent to work with, and were very happy with our system. There were some glitches and time delays as we went along--no fault of theirs or ours, including my father dying--and they were helpful and communicative all the way. Solar power was completely new to us. From the time we asked for a quote until the project was done, we had a million questions, all answered patiently and in language we could understand. I think the responsiveness is especially admirable given that they work on whole buildings and construction projects, when were just a little rambler in the suburbs.We dont expect to live in the area for many more years. We are not concerned with that because whatever we dont earn through energy savings, we will probably get back as equity when we sell. Feels great to run on green power!

We worked with Nick Richardson to install 29 panels on the roof of our detached garage. We have a main and 3 subpanels which made this an unusual installation but SolTerra figured it out and everything went very smoothly. Everyone I met was extremely efficient, open to discussing their plans and what they were doing, and very considerate. The company did a great job of handling all of the paperwork while keeping us informed. We installed in Jan and got immediate production. One of the wettest, cloudiest springs on record and we still produced 50% of our usage. Yesterday was our best day so far, producing 200% of what we used. All of Nicks calculations have been spot on. They are the best contractor/installer we have had work on the house - by far!

Our system has been up and running for 4 weeks now. It works beautifully, and the whole process from start to finish was managed well. My solar project team comprised of Nick (sales person/project designer), Neil (project manager), Marisa (project administrator) and team Roger (electrician and his assistant). Nick was very helpful in our option selection process and kept in close touch through the design phase of the project. Marisa oversaw the project schedule, helping with schedule changes at our request and making sure all the paperwork was signed and submitted. When the project began, the solar panels were installed in less than 2 days. After that, it was team Roger who spent most of the remaining project time on site as our project also involved upgrading our electrical service, installing new mast for the relocation of our electric meter and supply line to meet current building codes. I learned a lot about our system from Roger in the final phase of the project through the start up of the system. During the middle and final phase of the project, Neil coordinated with the City of Seattle to inspect the project for building code compliance, with Seattle City Light for the supply line relocation, and several SCL inspections. At the project completion meeting, Nick went through the operations and maintenance of our solar system in detail as well as all the tax credit and incentive issues. He also assured us that SolTerra is here for the long haul and will be our resource for solar questions and issues. I highly recommend SolTerra for anyone considering solar power as an alternative energy source.

Solterra exceeded my expectations in every aspect - and my expectations were high. They were the first to respond to my proposal, provided the most detailed and accurate design, and answered every question and concern. When my project was delayed by others, they stood by me and adapted their schedule to mine. The installation was as clean and professional as it could possibly be. I had my roof replaced in conjunction with the solar install, and Solterra coordinated their work with the other contractor to provide a seamless installation. When Washington state legislative changes provided a tax savings, Solterra passed that directly on to me, a significant saving - even though I wasnt even aware of the change. Communication was first rate from the CEO on down. This is a very well run company with competent, experienced staff who work together to provide excellent service - Highly recommended!
