We called Merit Plumbing to handle several plumbing problems in our house, including one that was in a space so hard to access that another plumber threw in the towel and said couldnt be done unless we tore out the vanity. JJ, the owner, managed it with relative ease, no tear-apart necessary, and handled all the other jobs too. Hes cheerful, friendly, works hard and is meticulous and clean. He offered us a couple of options to keep costs down on our job, too. Wed absolutely hire him again and recommend him 100%.

I called Merit Plumbing because of drain issues in the kitchen (garbage disposal) and also in the bathroom vanity drain.The service was excellent. JJ came and did a service evaluation and explained what needed to be done. He had to use a snake to unclog the kitchen drain as it was heavily clogged. He spent quite a bit of time on it which I appreciated. He also made some suggestions for maintenance in the future. He is very well qualified and thorough. I would highly recommend Merit,

JJ at Merit Plumbing is now our plumber. We would not think about using anyone else. This time it was a kitchen faucet repair. Last time outdoor water faucets were installed. Each time JJ has come to our home he has been on time, friendly, and most of all extremely efficient in his work. And the repair cost beats other plumbers we had used before we met him.

JJ was great. Price was good and I called around noon on a Sunday and he came out at about 3:00. Did a wonderful job and quoted on my initial call. He replaced my broken water main shut-off and did a great job. Also went the extra mile and added a overflow drain line to my water heater that a previous plumber didnt complete correctly and charged me ZERO for the added service. I could not more strongly recommend him and will be using him again in the future.

Later that week he came out on a Saturday evening, (after an urgent call to him!) to fix a shower that would not shut off (damaged cartridge). I trust him and his work quality, so we have a maintenance plan through him now. Very happy!

Had to replace an old hot water heater. Cost was reasonable and JJ came and replaced it on the holiday. Then the pipes in the wall were old and soft, so it had to be cut back to where there was good pipe. JJ Stayed, and cheerfully completed everything that need to be done to make it safe and secure. I cant tell you how much I appreciated the work being completed, and that he stayed until it was done right.

JJ did an annual inspection including cleaning of the tankless hot water heater. He also, adjusted the flow in some toilets and showed me how to clean the filters in the dishwasher. There were some defects with parts in our sinks that are under warranty, and JJ was able to communicate directly with the manufacturer to have replacements sent. I recommend him without hesitation.

JJ repaired the pipes under my sink. The previous homeowner hot glued everything together and it fell apart when Kinetico tried to install the system. JJ did a great job replacing the pipes correctly. He also replaced the pipes on my hot water heater that were corroded. JJ explained everything and provided a quote and options before doing any work.
