He kept me updated on the status of his work. He is very detailed, from preparation to the final stroke. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of services provided. Excellent communication. West Coast completed painting for my entire house and garage (while fully furnished) with efficiency and professionalism. Matt and his team at West Coast Painting did an incredible job with our house. We had a room and a separate ceiling that needed to be repainted after some damage, and they went above and beyond - they fixed a number of painting issues we had from our last painter as well. We also ended up having them work on our existing wood - Matt promised he could make it look like new, and it absolutely does. The work they did is incredible and they left our house spotless when they were done. Matt is very communicative and always willing to walk us through things when we had questions. We are excited to continue working with them on a number of projects!

I highly recommend West Coast Painting!! They did a great job on my commercial building in downtown Sarasota. I got estimates from three painters, before making my choice. West Coast painting was not the least expensive, but I chose to go with them for several reasons. Matt Mashke gave me the most detailed quote, including proper primer, pathing, prep work and finish coat. The painting team was clean and efficient. Since completion I have had a lot of positive feedback from friends , neighbors and even people passing by. The attention to details really impressed me.

Matt’s crew did a wonderful paint job on the interior of our place. They did everything that was noted on the proposal, and some extra things, like removing the old door handles and replacing them with the new ones that I provided, and removing the valances and patching the walls. They also painted the switch plates that had previously been painted, so that they matched our new paint color. Matt was very responsive to my requests, and we had an open line of communication. He kept me updated on the progress of the job, and when it was completed.

I usually do not take time to leave reviews, however, I would be remiss in not doing so with West Coast Painting. Matt and his team will treat you like family. I have a three level home on siesta key, and I knew that it would be a challenge for anybody to take on. I got three quotes for painting our house. West Coast Painting was not the cheapest quote, however, I believe the devil is in the details. Matt and West Coast Painting leaves no stone unturned. You get what you pay for. His team were all about the pre-painting prep. Pressure washing, filling in all of the caulking around the windows, filling in cracks in the wood, and stucco. They did a tremendous job that I feel would NEVER have been done by a low budget painting service. Matt will come meet with and spend as much time with you as you need without feeling rushed! He was always readily available via cell phone got back to me in less than an hour every single time I sent him a message. He personally came by our house on 5 separate occasions- just to talk with us and discuss changes.Matt has been doing this for over 20 years and he has a very artistic eye when it comes to the color palette. He helped us step-by-step and picking out the perfect colors for our home and we couldn’t be more than thrilled with the results. Our house looks like an entirely brand new house! I can’t say enough about his Painting team led by Edwin. Simply Amazing ! Edwin did an entire 30 foot wall of wood with a pickled finish that truly looks like something out of art exhibit. I decided on literally last minute changes. Matt and crew rolled with it easily and in the end, only charge me for the cost of paint and the labor. Throughout the entire project, he was always concerned about our happiness for a great outcome. West Coast Painting is not the cheapest in town, but the quality of work that they do is definitely the absolute best and first class! My wife and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.We now have an amazing looking beach house that looks brand new! I highly recommend that you spend a few extra dollars and hire these guys immediately!!It was an absolute pleasure working with West Coast Painting! Their attention to detail is second to none!

My wife and I recently bought this home and had very specific vision for it. Not only did these guys do an amazing job, they were efficient, professional, and extremely easy to work with. Top level experience from the moment I called Matt to get the quote. He was out here when he said he would be, quote was to me the same day. He was able to get scheduled quickly to meet our construction project needs. Treated our humble little home like one of his million dollar projects. The team was very quick and thorough on the day of the painting, and paid attention to detail not missing anything. Used top quality materials that really make the home look brand new even it is 50 years old. Cant say enough good things, if only all contractors and service companies had this level of service and quality. Highly recommend for all your painting needs.

Well… I knew I liked Matt Mashke as soon as I realized he was a Golden Retriever lover! All kidding aside, you can just tell when someone is a good person and will do a good job. And that is what we got with West Coast Painting. We have a two-story Victorian with a lot of detailed woodwork and they did an amazing job and were efficient on top of it. Price is fair, painting was beautiful, and Matt, as the owner showed up each day to the job to ensure we were happy. He even came on the final day to retrieve the trash and give our Golden one last pet. I would highly recommend this company for any of your painting needs!

Matt and his crew are the BEST OF THE BEST! I seriously can not say enough good things about this company.I originally called Matt for a quote several months ago to paint our home. His quote was reasonable, but we foolishly decided to go with a “family friend” contractor to replace siding who said they would paint as well to “save us money”. After this other crew took over a week just to paint the front half of our little 1700sqft home, the paint job was the worst I had ever seen. I could have paid the neighborhood kids in cookies and given them crayola paint brushes and probably gotten better results.I immediately called Matt again and he was kind enough to squeeze us in the following week despite his full schedule. I told him our vision and he recommended a color and assured us he and his guys would take great care of us - and that they did! Not only are his men professional and meticulous, they showed up early and worked their butts off - the entire job took only 3 days! Matt called us each day and also showed up on-site to make sure things were going smoothly. Our home looks absolutely beautiful now and we couldn’t be more pleased with the work they did. Seriously, don’t bother calling any one else...call West Coast Paint and get your project done right the FIRST time (and ON TIME).

Matt with West Coast Paint is the BEST OF THE BEST, do not bother calling anyone else!I called Matt for a quote to paint my home exterior several months ago. While his quote was reasonable, we foolishly decided to hire a contractor family friend to replace some siding and paint as well. The paint job this other crew did was a joke. Not only did it take a week just to paint HALF of my little home, I probably could have paid the neighborhood kids in cookies and handed them Crayola paint brushes and gotten much better results. There was paint all over my attic gables and soffit, unapologetically splashed all over door hardware that they didn’t bother to cover, and the old home color was showing through in every corner and under every edge of siding.Desperate and ashamed, I called Matt again. He remembered me and came out the very next day. He made a new color recommendation based on his professional experience and the look I was going for, and squeezed us into his already full schedule the following week.His men are meticulous and professional. They arrived early each day, very carefully made sure things that weren’t being painted were appropriately covered, and worked extremely hard. Matt was on-site each morning to start his crew and check on their work, and called us in the afternoons to make sure we didn’t have any questions or concerns and to let us know what to expect for the following day. The entire job took 2.5 days, and it is flawless!Matt treated us more like family than the long time “family friend” we originally hired, and we are blown away by the quality of work his company did for us. He made us feel as if we were his most important client and showed genuine concern for ensuring we were happy. Our home looks absolutely gorgeous now and my husband and I can not thank Matt enough!Don’t be stupid like us...Call West Coast Paint and get your project done RIGHT the FIRST time!!

After reviewing the bids and speaking with each company , we chose WCP based on conversations with the owner Matt Mashke who convinced us that his company would deliver a top quality job and stand behind his work. Being new to Sarasota, we were at the mercy of our own research and instincts to make the right choice. And make the right choice we did!! Matts professional team worked tirelessly to paint the exterior of our new home while we were moving in . During the stressful move-in period , they went to work and completed the job just as we were unpacking our last few boxes. We were so impressed by the whole operation and how accommodating and professional they were. Not to mention , what great people they were. On several occasions we needed an extra hand to move a piece of furniture and they were there to help out at every turn . Beyond the call of duty!!! We will have more painting projects to tackle in the future and Matt will be on my favorites contact list to direct dial . Yes, yes, yes, I had seen some of his work on large elite homes and thought he would be very expensive. Not the case, his quote was very affordable and got to the job timely. Help me with choosing colors ( painting outside of the house and he was painting the ceilings and my office for me ) -went above and beyond to make suggestions to improve The Overall appearance. If this will allow me to load up photos, you would be in awe At metal beams made to look like wood and a book case that was green and now looks like wood grain. And my aluminum garage door now looks like wood grain Ernie is an artist with the mostest! And Matt, he actually cares if a good job is done. If I could get them 10 stars I would!

I have a historic house in Laurel Park that is tricky to maintain. Its 2 floors, all original windows (metal panes), plants all around the house, permanent awnings over all the windows. Just a tough house to paint.Matts team was incredible. They power-washed, primed, and painted everything in 4 days, including a carriage house AND an exterior wall that wraps around the property.Very professional and very diligent. There are plants and trees hugging the house but going beyond our expectations they keep the paint off the landscape (except for maybe a drip or two). Again beyond anything we thought would be reasonable.I HIGHLY recommend West Coast Painting. Nothing came close....
