When a four-month undetected slow leak beneath our kitchen sink left us with a horrendous mess of deteriorated particle board and who-knows-what-else, we were devastated...and lost as to who to call. We checked out the amazing reviews of Patrick and gave him a call. It turned out to be a pure blessing! A true artist (and perfectionist), a master carpenter & wonderful painter, he now specializes in smaller jobs. He did all the prep off site and the clear out and installation took only 90 minutes time in our home - to make the most amazing transformation ever. He is brilliant! To top it off, he charges a truly fair price for an A++++++++++ (and more) job! Now were checking out anything else that we can ask him to do, make, or fix! Patrick was wondering to work with when repainting our home. He took the time to educate us on using quality paint, the steps he was taking to ensure that it would last for many years. Patrick always arrived on time and worked a full day. I offered him lunch but he is not the type to sit around and relax he was a real hustler. I would absolutely use him again in the future and without hesitation recommend him to others. Patrick is a real gem, hardworking, honest, left the job clean. Our house looks absolutely beautiful.

I hired Patrick to install some interior doors and new trim throughout my house. He was on time each day and made short work of the install. His attention to detail and quality of work were excellent. He was able to help save me money on the install and offered a few tips and tricks along the way. I would highly recommend. Patrick was recommended by several of our friends who think highly of him and the quality of his work. We recently purchased a home on Siesta Key that needed to have several repairs including interior painting , electrical repairs, etc. Patrick is knowlegeable , honest , and punctual. He starts early and works all day. He works without taking breaks, not even for lunch or rest. He has whatever equipment required to make needed repairs and discusses options before beginning. He can fix anything. Patrick’s fees are reasonable and he even cleans up after himself !

Patrick worked extensively on my home in Southgate and I am very pleased with the results. Popcorn ceilings were removed and replaced with a beautiful light skip trowel and painted. New crown molding was added and painted around perimeter of living area minus bedrooms. All walls of home were repainted and textured, as well as new baseboards around home. New trim was added to all doors, as well as installing new solid core doors and chrome hardware. Patrick and Mike were very punctual and easy to work with. They recommended and coordinated other trades when needed to finish the job including tile and electrical. Closets were also replaced with new custom shelving and paint. This was an extensive job as the previous owner had tried to do things himself but with poor craftsmanship. He also helped to waterproof the exterior of my home. Patrick was able to remedy the situation with amazing craftsmanship and master carpentry skills. I will definitely use him again for any remodeling project.

Patrick has done extensive work on my 1940s home, both interior and exterior. He has done painting, pressure washing, wood work, and plaster repair. While we were looking to fix her up to be sold, Patrick was able to identify those areas that would most increase our sale price. He does not mark up materials and his work is first class. He is honest, trustworthy, responsive, and experienced. Patrick exceeded my expectations in every area. I will be using him for all our home repair and restoration work in the future.

I recently had renovations at our new medical practice and after much research I decided to contract with Patrick. I was given very attentive and punctual service wit his company. He was in constant communication with me and displayed superior patience as we had to make adjustments to our decisions along the way. Patrick offered extra services that I was not expected and only cared about completing an exemplary job. He finished the project on time and was always able to be reached last minute in communication needs. I was laid off from my job during the pandemic and it gave me time to paint the outside of my house. I was told by my neighbor that Carpentry and Restoration gave him good service for a job on his house. I was lucky that they could fit me in their schedule and I am thrilled with the job they did! It’s been almost a year since the job was finished and it looks like it was painted yesterday. Patrick and company are the most professional people I’ve been lucky to work with. They do not cut corners they use top quality materials they are on time and they charge a fair price. They are nice people too! Patrick was referred to me by a neighbor who used him for some extensive restoration. I needed someone to trim and paint my bathroom addition. He showed up on the job when he said he would. The trim work was expert with tight joints and even reveals. Paint work was also expert with even coats and straight cut ins. He was efficient and cleaned up after his work. I would recommend Patrick your carpentry and painting needs.

I left Patrick a message and he returned my call within 1/2 hour! I told him about my project, and he evaluated it over Facetime extensively. He thought about every aspect of what I wanted done, and gave me straightforward advice on the work. Thanks to Patricks advice, I made some changes and ended up saving a lot of money! He is VERY knowledgeable and a really nice guy, too! I already have an upcoming project in mind and will be giving him another call to set up to schedule the job.

I was truly impressed with Patrick and I can not say enough good things about both him and the work that he did on my house. He returned my call on the same day when I called after business hours, which I wasnt expecting and was able to quickly schedule me and showed up on time! Patrick - (1) picked up the phone on the first phone call, (2) immediately gave me good advice for how to approach the unique situation I was facing (3) purchased materials and got started on the project very quickly (4) did a very professional / high quality installation and (5) cleaned up the work area before leaving the work site. We needed to replace a six-panel interior door with a flat solid core door so that we could cut rectangular holes in the door and install dual cooling fan assemblies for a server closet with electronics that needed to be kept cool. He matched up the hinge locations / screw holes / door latch and knob assembly and painted the door after priming it at his shop. It turned out great and allowed us to preserve the original door for when we vacate the office.

Patrick Wilson, the owner of Carpentry and Restoration Specialty, has worked with me to restore our Spanish style house in Sarasota. The house was built in 1926 and was in rough condition when we bought it. Patrick first power washed and painted the exterior doing a lot of repair work on the stucco in the process. When he was done, the neighbors started complimenting us on how nice the house looked. We were thrilled.About six months later we started on the interior. Patrick has to do extensive repairs on the woodwork and plaster as he worked through painting each room. As each room was finished, it literally came alive. Were done now, and we just love what this house has become. He also replaced some windows and did some roof repair.I really wouldnt trust anyone else to do this kind of work for me as Patrick has the skills to take on all the necessary restoration tasks, and does meticulous work; he charges a fair price for his work, and is honest and hard working.
