I can’t say enough good things about Optimal Electric. We had a few big commercial and residential projects ranging from specialty manufacturing equipment to outdoor dock lighting. You name it we threw it at Optimal Electric, it was no match for Gary and Cameron.Optimal Electric worked fast and efficiently getting us up and running and also laying out a solid foundation for our companies future growth.Not only did Optimal Electric become my best contractor, Gary and Cameron also became my great friends. Simply put you will not find a better electrical contractor than Optimal Electric!

Optimal electronic provided amazing service for our home renovation projection. They assisted in adding circuits to our renovated kitchen and a number of outlets. They provided additional assistance with moving some plumbing and gas to allow for optimal placement of our sink and oven. Gary and Cameron were professional and easy to discuss our needs. Very attention detailed with adding recessed lighting to maximize lighting evenly throughout the kitchen.

I cannot say enough about Gary, Cameron and their entire team on the level of proficiency, knowledge and customer service they delivered! We had our existing panel cleaned up, an added panel put in and an entire EVInstallation project. Not only did they hold our hands throughout the entire process, from front to back, but they were super informative, passionate about their craft and just super cool people to work with! Nicest guys you’d ever meet! If every business operated like this, the world would be a more efficient and happier place! If you’re looking for electrician work, this is your team, without question! We contacted many companies for estimates and advice and Gary, the owner, provided the most clear answers coupled with professional suggestions. His prices were very competitive, as well. Quality service providers. After watching Gary and Cameron install a dedicated 240 volt service for EV charging, I feel comfortable saying I would hire optimal for any electrical need I might have. Showed up on time, did the job, and, cleaned up after they finished. I have found my go to electrician. Thanks guys for providing the service I expect and more.

Optimal Electric is by far the best electricians I have ever worked with. Their prices are reasonable, and they know their craft. I have had two jobs done by them at my house in DeLand, FL. First was an outdoor electric charge box for my electric car, it was flawless.Second was setting up an emergency power generator backup system. These guys nailed it during the system test we were able to run HVAC, refrigerator and full entertainment center simultaneously. Then tested one at a time a stove top burner, then the microwave and finally a computer connected to the internet. Again flawless, thank you Optimal Electric.

Our house had three inoperative receptacles (found during a home inspection) and we called Optimal on the advice of our realtor. (October 2021) Even though it would be a small job - Gary scheduled us for a couple days later, and he and and his #1 assistant arrived promptly at the appointed time. After asking us how we came to believe that the receptacles were bad, and we told him of the home inspection - he re-checked them to ensure that they indeed needed replacement. Optimal worked quickly and efficiently to not only rectify the issues, they found a couple of additional problems with some wiring in the electrical panel that the inspector hadnt identified, and brought everything up to code. I only know enough about electricity to be a danger to myself and others, but Gary explained everything he was doing during the entire process...and I can say for a fact that he didnt try and do anything that wasnt necessary. Ive already recommended Optimal to others and will continue to do so. Their work in my case was excellent, and reasonably priced. They are the best electrical specialists Ive run across in a lot of years.Update: March, 2022...Moved to a different house and yes - had to call Optimal Electric again to resolve new issues. For one - we needed a new electrical panel installed, that Had just been fixed. The panel (along with new wiring, breakers, etc) had been recently installed by another Recommended electrician working on his off hours, according to the people who had the work done.Well, it wasnt done right. Still having issues, I called Gary at Optimal, and he came out immediately. Gary took the time to point out numerous code violations and wiring issues that the other installer had created.Gary gave me options ranging from things we HAD to do, needed to do, and were just smart to do. He also got the work done very quickly and professionally. Keeping me informed of his progress every step of the way.Since then, Ive used Optimal to install new outdoor electrical outlets and a wiring drop for a new tankless water heater. I also plan to call them back to hard wire electricity to our our storage shed in the back yard.Optimal Electric, Gary and his #1 assistant are simply the best you can get. Theyre also honest, professional and their prices are reasonable.

As an update to my initial review of Optimal Electric, there was a change in the specifications in the Chevy Bolt charging station installation program that Chevy change the wiring component requirement from using a #8 gauge wire to a #6 gauge wire. Though the #6 gauge wire was listed on the Qmerit agreement given to myself, Qmerit did not inform Optimal Electric of the updated change which resulted in a #8 wire being installed (though still being NEC compliant and what was specified on the EVSE at the time). I spoke to Cameron and the owner Gary and they have been completely transparent a responsive to my issue. They are working with Qmerit about swapping out the #8 gauge wire for a #6 gauge wire at a later date. I like to thank Cameron and Gary for their professionalism and taking the time to treat me as more than just a customer.
