Zed Electric really came through in a bind. On Monday of last week, the service panel on my moms house shorted and blew out during the heavy rains. I made an emergency call to Zed and Tara directed me to David and Tony who came over in the inclement weather to assess and get my elderly mother a temporary power solution. Over the next three days Brandon, Sean, Jason, Ray and Ricardo all worked together to repair and replace the service panel, circuits and wiring, and to coordinate with the City and SDGE to inspect the new system and reconnect it on an expedieted basis. A special shout-out to Sean who was on site the whole time working through some lousy weather. Zed got my moms power back up, fully restored by Thursday (see photos). Thank you for your tremendous teamwork and dedication.

Great work done by a very well trained electrician. Work was started and completed on time and on budget. Very happy with this company.Zed Electric has always been a great company to work with. This latest issue happened during the holidays and they had someone at my house within an hour and fixed the water heater problem the same day. I recommend this company without reservation. Every time they performed the work on time and within the quoted price. Plus, the electricians have been very courteous, respectful of my house andvery friendly and efficient.

Over the past 10 years, my husband and I have worked with ZED on more than a half dozen electrical projects at our home and rental properties in mid-town San Diego. Whether the project is large and complicated, like rewiring and upgrading service on a 100 year old house, or answering an emergency call to locate and repair a wiring short, ZED has been prompt, CALM, and reasonably priced. Most importantly, they’ve demonstrated skill and patience with challenging projects. We’ve recommended ZED to our neighbors and friends, who have also turned into repeat clients.

Not only is Zed Electric Inc a super nice guy, but hes an excellent electrician. He installed two chandeliers for us on very short notice. It was a complicated install but he did it in no time. I can not recommend him enough. I have never written a G+ review but I felt compelled to write one after my experience with Zed Electric Inc.

I have used Zed Electric at both my personal residence and a rental property we own. David and his crew are very professional, courteous and communicate very well. Time is of the essence with me on the rental property. Zed Electric responded the same day, was able to trouble shoot the problem (no electric in garage) quickly and explain what the problem was and how they fixed it with the tenant. Zed Electric is a well run company and it is always a pleasure doing business with them.

They were the only electrical contractor who responded promptly to our request for bid, and they gave us a fair price. Their electricians showed up on time, and completed their work in a timely manner. I would contract with Zed again

Found an electrician I trust and will be comfortable referring to my Clients, ZED Electric. Niall was a true professional. Easy to see by how he conducted repairs and the care he took cutting drywall. Respectful of my home, an obvious contrast with other contractors working on our kitchen. Give them a try, I think you will be very pleased.UPDATE: Read the other reviews after I wrote mine and was surprised to read about the drywall comment by others. The thing that impressed me was the time Niall took to do the job right. He had to repair work hidden behind a cabinet where the previous contractor had opened the wall with a hammer. I told others about the drywall cutting and they were surprised I was impressed. Its easy to do the big, obvious things. Caring and professionalism is demonstrated in how someone does the small things that may never be seen again. Any electrician can pull a wire or install an electrical socket, its the details that matter to me.

I am delighted that Zed Electric’s business location is right down the street. The fluorescent tubes That light my kitchen suddenly dimmed. I changed the tubes but they were still dim. I called Zed Electric and learned I needed new ballasts. Problem solved!

We have always been impressed with the excellent work that Zed Electric has performed on our home in Bay Ho and condominium in Point Loma. We moved to our home in October 2016 and John did an amazing job of completing all our electrical up-dates and needs. In August of this year the electrician who put our 220 line in was awesome. We just can’t remember his name. He had the difficult task of going into our attic. Our 1950’s home has a very tight crawl space. When it was completed it looked perfect. This September, Mark was here to set-up the 220 line to our swim/spa. He did a great job. He as well as the others were total professionals and they all demonstrated expertise in their field.Special thanks for Dave Zedaker for coming out to check on the workmanship. That type of management and leadership is not always seen in large corporations. This showed us that you care about the workmanship as well as taking care of your staff

I had a 240 volt outlet at a rental property that needed to be rewired and they had someone out the next day and replaced it and the washer/dryer cord for a reasonable price. Bonus was that I didnt have to be there for the repair (my tenant was home). Will definitely consider them for future work. Great service!

We’ve used Zed Electric for several projects. We’ve also used another licensed electrician on a few occasions. The difference in workmanship and professionalism was an eye-opener for us. The city inspector found several issues with the work of the non-Zed contractor whereas all Zed Electric work passed with flying colors! We learned our lesson and are now grateful Zed Electric clients.
