I had just purchased a new Gotrax Scooter and since day 1 it was a pain in the ass with the brakes. Jay took care of it after I brought it to him. Also if your new to EV world I highly recommend a Class 3 Ebike over scooters. Thanks Jay my scooter finally runs the way I wanted 🙌. Also just be patient with his work hes a dude of a few words but definitely gets the job done. Hope your health gets better and thanks for the help.

These guys were super helpful! They even printed out instructions to show me how to change settings in my scooter. I couldn’t find any other place that knew how to fix my e scooter. These guys knew exactly what to do! I will most definitely be coming back to these guys anytime I need something done! If you are are having any issues with your electric bike or scooter these are most definitely the guys for the job! Thank you guys so much for all your help!

Jay repaired two tires for me that I couldnt find anywhere else for my C80 scooter. He was even kind enough to help me with transport of scooter due to some health complications on my end.

Jay is outstanding. My ebike battery wouldnt charge and we thought wed need to buy a whole new battery, as other people had warned us. The ebike manufacturer was out of business and we feared we were out of luck.Jay charged $80 up front to look at it, but 4 business days later he had it fixed. The original BMS (battery management system) circuit board was dead and the original manufacturer was no longer supplying the part. Jay found another BMS board that functioned as a replacement and it works great. Hes clearly very knowledgeable and gave us lots of good advice. Hell be our go-to guy from now on, for both our ebikes and our Segway scooters. Oh, and he only charged an additional $43, after the original $80, for parts and labor.Be advised: there is no signage on his storefront. His full address is 8855 Balboa Ave, SUITE D, right at the front of the building.

This place is your one stop shop for electric bike, scooter and anything in between! Jay is super knowledgeable and friendly! He was able to repair 2 of my high end scooters already. Go check out his showroom. He has a variety of Segway dirt bikes and Dultron high end scooters. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a super friendly lady(sorry didn’t get her name). She is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Great prices on all the bikes and parts.

I definitely recommend this to place to buy a Segway X260 Electric Dirt Bike ! I bought mine and had some work done on my Segway X260 at this shop. Also they sell fast electric scooters as well. This shop will repair EV rides and they do custom installs too. Check them out ! Jay is a good dude ! 🤙🏼

Yesterday, I went to this place to buy a spare tire for my own scooter, and the one person that worked their was kind and empathic, he even gave me a perfect discount for me to buy a spare tire for cheaper price, he should take the respect for being real empathic and helpful.

Whenever I need anything for my ebikes this is where I go! Most bike shops/ebike shops in San Diego simply can’t work on my bike. They either don’t have the knowledge or they refuse to work on anything they don’t sell. CustomEV will work on nearly any PEV. He performs repairs and upgrades and his work is the best I’ve seen! He also has some pretty cool electric bikes and scooters on his showroom floor for sale! Go with confidence. I simply don’t trust anyone else’s work with my high performance ebike.

Updated… I have had many experiences at this point with Jay, the owner/operator/fabricator/sales and tech. Whether it’s purchasing a used/refurbished e-scooter, he handles new sales also, or having one of my others updated with new mods and upgrades or repairs when I’ve been a bit to rough. This guy is the man for the job. If your thinking e-scooter(ANYTHING) Jay is always my next thought. This is not a 10 min oil change it’s a shop that takes care of its customers where quality is placed over time and people over money. Remember that a diagnostics takes time and time has value…and Jay is worth both.Previous review- Without going into a lot of detail, these folks are amazing. Their hours aren’t my favorite…totally 100% worth the inconvenience…hands down. I will never take my scooter anywhere else.

This business did an amazing job with my repair and they were extremely friendly about it. Most places will not work on my PEV because it is not from a major brand. Ev pro world fixed my charging issue quickly, and for a significantly lower price than I was expecting. I will be back if further issues appear and would recommend them to anyone having PEV issues. Very satisfied!
