We had a backup in the pipes that we couldnt get to clear up so we gave Roto-Rooter a call and they sent Abdul out. He was able to snake the pipe and clear the blockage. He also checked it a few times to make sure it was for sure cleared! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We needed a new seat and wax ring for our toilet. For that part their fee was outrageous, but they took pretty good care of us downline after that. When I called these folks I had already had four plumbers out to give us bids. Two of them wouldnt put the bid in writing, and one of the plumbers who came out was tweaking balls! One of the written beds was $12,000 higher than the other one, so we were just looking for a sane and reasonable bid. Roto-Rooter came out and gave us a bid in writing while they were still on the property. They also offered us an opportunity to save $2,000 by digging the hole to access our plumbing line. I happily took that offer! A day and a half later, we had a new y joint that fed into the sewer, and a liner was shot down to the street to give us a new line without having to dig up our yard. They werent the lowest bid, but they were the bed I trusted the most! Im glad we went with them.

TLDR:My toilet had an exceedingly difficult clog. I tried to clear it for many hours w/o success. RotoRouter sent out a personable young fellow, Matthew, who cleared the clog in 20 minutes, tested the result for 10 minutes. Whole job took 45 minutes from opening the front door closing it behind the plumber. Im an old codger, a miser, but this was *money well spent* on a great company![Detailed Review]We had a clogged toilet, which I had been plunging every 30 minutes or so from 12:20am Saturday morning to 4pm same day, and the clog went from slow to complete blocked.So I called RotoRouter. They said theyd have someone out to me in 45 minutes. Due to difficulties at the previous job they had to reschedule. Because of the reschedule they gave me generous a discount.The gentleman who arrived, Matthew, was on-time, efficient, and personable. He asked me questions to assess the clog (was something unusual flushed, what had I done to clear the clog, etc...).It took the young man no more than 30 minutes to snake the clog, and that includes approximately 10 minutes of testing to ensure that that clog was really busted.The clogged toilet was an unpleasant experience but RotoRouter was a pleasant part of it. Im old, frail, and a miser; I really *hate* to spend money!*This really was money well spent!*If you have a difficult clog, dont work yourself into exhaustion -- chances are you cant fix it: call RotoRouter! It is *worth every penny!* Youll be glad you did!

Our experience with your company has been wonderful from beginning to the end. From calling your company, getting someone on the phone quickly and having a tech dispatched out within a few hours was amazing. However, even more amazing, was your tech, James. He came out with his apprentice, Josh, and evaluated our problem and gave us a few suggestions. We decided on a new water tank and he installed it and made sure everything worked and then left. It wasnt just the technical abilities but it was his interpersonal, communication and overall likeness that made us write this review. Weve had many technicians come to our house and they are more miserable than the one before them. James was polite, respectful and explained everything to us while he was doing the work. When you hire technicians, I would STRONGLY suggest that you hire people like James. He is someone who will win business from customers and make your company profitable because they will be repeat customers. I know I will be calling your company back for more work done.

It was a puzzling problem too! Actually, even though Andrew was great, things went south. He didnt have the $6 part needed for my repair and told me it would cost $275 more to get it from Home Depot (which is 10 minutes from my house.) My neighbor then went and got the part and spent several hours installing it--was too big and Andrew talked him (one the phone) through tightening it--neighbor checked it again the next day and it was still dripping, so he tightened it again--Im so hoping that its now fixed. But for the nearly $4oo I paid Roto-Rooter, I think they should have completed it without charging more!Andrew was great--didnt have the part he needed to complete my repair but working on it--thanks!

So happy with Roto-Rooter. I first called Whipple; $70 just to come out (but it will count toward total payment if you let them fix it, which you feel obligated to because you’ve already paid). Called Roto next because I don’t like those predatory business practices. The man on the phone (Tristan? Or Mc-something) was super polite, friendly and informative. Also Tom was great to talk to. Drake came out within an hour and asked us to show him the problems (clogged sewer main line) and explained what he was going to do. He gave me a quote (everything has been free to this point) and explained the documents and process and let me know another tech would also come out me run a camera through the line for free just so we can see if there is any damage or reason why the drain clogged. Keep in mind this is evening now, cold and I’m sure an inconvenient time. Drake snaked the line and Nick came out and ran his camera through it and turns out the folks installing fiber the week before punched a hole in my pipe, so it needs to be replaced. Nick gave me a quote for that and let me know what they would do and all that. Everyone I worked with was transparent, fast, friendly and not at all pushy or trying to inflate the problem. I will 100% always call Roto for any drain issues in the future. I recommend them to anyone who needs service fast and doesn’t want to be sold to, pushed or preyed on. I’m so happy I went with them. I can’t emphasize how stressed I was about having an issue and not wanting to pay extra just to come out, or come out quickly, or in the evening. My techs were so good and saved the whole day!

I called Roto Rooter to inspect one of our sump pumps. Matthew concluded the sump pump outside our sliding door hasn’t been working for a while due to the state of the ground water in the hole that houses the sump pump. He replaced it along with the backflow preventer very quickly, and even cleaned out the gunk from the bottom of the hole. Now I have peace of mind that my basement won’t flood. He was knowledgeable and professional!

Water wasn’t draining properly in my kitchen sink, so I reached out. Very friendly people on the phone, Yairo the technician came out within a couple of hours. Fun guy and easy to talk to. Price was steep ($466 total for a drain snake cleaning for the kitchen drain line) but he went above and beyond by trying different cables to reach the farthest distance possible. I also was able to use a $75 off coupon online, which brought my total down to $391. Overall would recommend, but cannot rate how competitive the pricing is since this is a first time experience.

We had a good chat while he worked.I was glad they scheduled a follow up free camera inspection of the sewer main the next day to confirm the clean out did the job. Travis was knowledge, had good customer service, and I could tell he was looking out for us which earned my loyalty as a customer.At first I wasn’t sure about a big national chain but I went with them due to their 4.8-4.9 review average locally. It was a bit pricey ($466 to clear our specific line), but our main line is tricky due to its age, location, and bad diy jobs done by previous owners and Kaleb saw his way through those challenges to get the job done. He was honest and up front with us about what our options are with a more permanent fix for the future and gave me a great deal of confidence in Roto-rooter should we decide to utilize them for the future big fix we have coming.

He was in and out in 90 minutes.I will add, that I had to either pay an additional 400 to have them remove the toilet in order to inspect and clean the roots out, or remove it myself. It has been reported to the HOA of our community that a sewer pipe had a root ball and possibly a broken sewer pipe. We had Mark from Roto-Rooter come inspect the line. Yes he found there was a problem. Mark set up an appointment for us to get it fixed. Mark and Hasam came about 9:30 am and began the project. They allowed me to follow the progress they were making and take pictures for the HOA’s property management company. These guys worked fast and were very professional. They were careful to not damage the covered parking item as they dug up where the line was broken. They wore their masks and practiced physical distance when I came around. They explained what they did and kept me in the loop. They found the problem pretty quick and were able to repair the break nicely. They were great to get the hole ready for asphalt to be replaced. They cleaned up after themselves and left our spot with caution tape around some barriers, so the people would know not to park there just yet. These guys were friendly and were patient with me as I asked questions. This was a second bid on this project and Roto-Rooter came in at a lower bid, so this helped us save money. I would recommend this company whole heartily. They gave us best results and saved us money too.

We had a broken cable from a previous attempt at snaking a main line in my basement. James was the technician that was sent to try to remove the cable and he was amazing. Him and another technician were able to get the cable out and he also recommended a pipe drain cleaner that would stop future build up in my pipes in the future. I truly appreciate the time he took in letting me know everything he was doing and that he was so efficient in his work.

David came out on a Sunday after our toilet broke and we had to turn off water to the house. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and got everything fixed quickly. No crazy high fees for coming out on the weekend, either. I highly recommend Roto Rooter!

Mark & Steven came out to our house late to check out a cracked pipe outside for our sprinklers. After we had been quoted $3-$5,000 for repairs by other companies, they gave us some different ideas and fixed our issue for under $300 instead and drove all the way to Lowe’s before they closed to get the part.Would recommend these gentlemen to anyone!
