A friend recommended Billy Sunshine Plumbing to us. Mark called to let us know he was on his way which was very helpful. He replaced seven valves, fixed the garbage disposal and checked out the water heater. Mark was very efficient, had all the proper tools needed and finished the job in a timely manner. We had single mount kitchen faucet break and ordered a new one which I was going to install myself. Unfortunately due to my disability, maneuvering to get under the sink was too much. I read all of the nearby plumber reviews on Google, Nextdoor etc.and checked their websites. I take reviews with a grain of salt. The only thing relevant is what work was done, was it satisfactory, and fairly priced. Reviews from people who’ve never used a company but decided they don’t like them for some personal reason aren’t helpful. I went with Billy The Sunshine Plumber. They were the only company that listed prices for various types of service calls. Their service call fee included an hour of labor. I left a message early yesterday morning (2/15/23), and was called back at 9:00am. They said they’d be here today 2/16/23 between 9:00 and noon. She called this morning at 8:30 and told me they’d be here in 30 minutes. Jeremy arrived promptly at 9:00 and got to work removing the old faucet and installing the new one. He was very personable, completely professional and had it done in less than an hour. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

Two young plumbers called as I was instructed by the dispatch and arrived as scheduled. My clog was a bit of a challenge but they were able to solve the clogging problem after diligently trying several options. The price seemed reasonable considering the time and effort involved. The outcome was a free flowing drain once again. The plumbers cleaned up after themselves, were courteous and professional. But most of all they didn’t give up. I will call Billy the Sunshine Plumber for all my plumbing needs.

The plumbers Dimitri and Roman from Billy the Sunshine plumber in St.Petersburg FL did a great job. They were skilled, knowledgeable and professional. They solved my plumbing problem in about an hour. They replaced the valves in my toilet and removed any obstructions without damaging any of our fixtures. They were able to save us a lot of time and money. We highly recommend their service and will use them again. Great work!

Mark from Billy Sunshine was just here and he put sunshine in my smile! He reseated a sink drain and removed the knockout from a recently installed new garbage disposal. The sink and disposal were recently installed by a handyman (actually two handymen). The second replaced the disposal. The first handyman did not screw in the old disposal properly when installing the double sided sink. That didnt solve the problem. The sink drain was not seated properly and also leaked water under the sink. To top it off, Mark discovered the knockout was not removed at installation of the new replacement disposal by handyman #2, which caused a backup in the dishwasher, requiring me to find a wet vac to empty. I was certain the dishwasher was at fault due to its age, but fortunately had not yet purchased a replacement.I cannot thank Mark and Billy Sunshine enough! The bill was so reasonable I couldnt believe it. I have used Billy Sunshine several times over the years and have never been disappointed. Their plumbers are exceptional. Do yourself a favor. Save yourself aggravation and $. Call Billy Sunshine first!

Second time using this company. Kenny came to replace our old leaky water shut off valve and all the water spigots.He was so fast and friendly.Great service always.Had an emergency plumbing issue at our new 30 year old home, and reached out at the crack of dawn for help. Mark our plumber came out to attend to the situation and was so helpful in fixing our clogged toilet and backed line. He was so professional and communicated everything that was done. We called with several issues that were not urgent and were pleased to have Richard come to help us. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He was able to fix an outside faucet and install new faucets in our shower. We really appreciate Richards honesty when we had the toilets checked and he said they were working fine for now. He even had time to fix an outside shower that hadnt been used in years. He worked efficiently because he is so experienced. So my toilet overflowed and within 5 minutes, there was water in every single room! JR came out and he fixed the issue within 15 minutes. He was fast, curteous and even helped by giving me a couple tips to open the outside drain. Joey came out and helped us decide on an affordable solution that has lasted us for the last six months without any further issues in our sewer line. Dylan has been extremely patient and understanding with my home and what needs to happen. So I botched a DIY project and had to call a plumber around 9 p.m. The plumber (Jayden) replaced my fill and flush valves and supply line. He was super efficient, fast and meticulous. Cleaned up after himself and left us relieved and smiling. Ive used them before and they always get it right. I had to pay a bit more for late service call but still found it affordable and fair for all the work he did. So thank you and I think Ill pass on DIY projects in the future and just call Billy:)

UGH! I spent the day working in my yard so all I wanted to do was take a hot shower. But my tub was clogged and the water would not drain even a little bit. I did everything I knew to do to no avail. So, the next day I called the only plumber who has worked at my house since 1996-Billy The Sunshine Plumber! Mark arrived within the time frame that was given to me. The shower in our master bath was draining very slowly. Called Billy the Sunshine Plumber and they came out today to take a look. Our technician, Skyler Hurley, called ahead and showed up on time. Very professional and personable. He checked out the shower and decided to use acid to clear the drain, which is faster, cheaper, and longer lasting than using a snake. Total time about 20 minutes and good to go. Even got a senior discount. Great response and service.

Big Joe is great to deal with and true to his word. We had a single day job turn into a week long job and he stuck to his original quote. There is no other plumber Id use, even when things got complicated he stuck to his word over charging absorbent amounts. They triple checked the work and it is not often the business owner himself follows up 3 times and does the work themselves. This is a company with high moral value and great service. Jobs can always get complicated but these guys really saw it through with a great value, thanks Big Joe and the sunshine crew! Love the office family too! Great people!

It was hard to find, but Dan H. did not give up and was able to determine that it was the original water line for the fridge that was capped off by the builder on this 2 year old house that was leaking. This was the best plumber experience we have had. We had a clogged kitchen sink and made the mistake of trying to get Roto-Rooter to come clear it first. I knew where the clog was and just needed a plumber to snake it for us. BTSP gave us a quote over the phone and worked with us to get a plumber out as soon as possible. Roto-rooter was the exact opposite, they wouldn’t give a quote over the phone and eventually wanted to charge $570 for something Billy the Sunshine Plumber charged $175 for. Thankfully, we made the right call and went with BTSP.When their plumber Mark came out, we was friendly, communicative and professional. He was wearing a mask without being asked to and made sure to be as safe as possible. He worked fast and updated me along the way with what was going on. He quickly fixed the problem and made sure everything was working before he left. I will be asking for Mark by name if I need work done in the future. Great company and I highly recommend them.

Mark Adams was our plumber. So kind and professional! Before heading in, he asked for towels so he wouldn’t ruin our floor with mud tracks since the tropical storm was just now at its peak & that was very considerate of him. Shows what kind of staff this company has :) He had his mask on the whole time as well even while performing the repair. He made sure that our toilet was unclogged and fixed what the other plumbers didn’t do in the past. Pretty efficient with his work and he was kind enough to leave it clean.

Removed their shoes without my asking, respected COVID precautions and gave good preventive care information related to pipes and drains. We had issues with clogging with our toilet and shower tub. We called Billy the Sunshine Plumber in the morning and Patrick came to the house that afternoon, even though it had been raining throughout the day, which can be a problem if they have to go on the roof. Patrick was very nice and professional. Even though it got late into the early evening, Patrick stayed and worked on the problem until he found it and solve it. We really appreciate that he came and fixed the problem on the same day and kept a really nice disposition in spite of a long day. I certainly recommend this company.

Excellent plumbers, honest and friendly service. I had a leaky faucet in my shower and got an estimate from another plumbing service that said $500 to fix the leak but that I would also need to replace the valves, so a leaky faucet repair would be $1300. I called Billy The Sunshine Plumber and got the repair for $298. Jim was very knowledgeable about the plumbing system in my old bathroom and said that I did not need the valves replaced. He replaced the parts that were worn and there is no more leak. I share my review because there are a lot of plumbing and handyman services who take advantage of people and add on expensive repairs that dont need to be done. This was my second time using Billys and this last experience made them my go-to plumbers. They are truly honest plumbers. Jim came out to service my repair and it was very refreshing to have someone so upbeat and passionate about his profession. He knew exactly what to do and completed the repair in a short time. I recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber in the St. Petersburg area.

I used Billy Sunshine Plumbing for the first time after reading the good reviews and after another plumber not showing up. I had a clogged sink and despite my YouTube efforts to fix it myself (LOL), was unable to figure out the problem. This man is amazing! I had a plumber come out to unclog my kitchen sink yesterday for 2 hours and he couldnt get it unclogged.. My landlord called Billy The Sunshine Plumber and withing an hour he had it unclogged n cleaned out..He was so nice and professional and gave me tips on how to keep it from clogging again in the future! I had just gotten back in town from a long trip to see my elderly parents. This is when I discovered that the entire house was stopped up. The last thing I wanted to do was go stay in a motel or with a friend until Monday. I called Billy the sunshine plumber, was greeted by a very nice woman at their answering service and had a call back within 10 minutes. JT was to the point and honest. He asked me what was going on and said he was going to be a couple hours at least because he was very backed up but if I could wait he would be there. He let me know the cost Upfront for an after-hours call and made sure I was okay with that. He arrived in half the time he had originally estimated. To say that I was frustrated with my house situation would have been an understatement. He came in and was very efficient and to the point which I found helped me relax a bit (I was concerned this was something catastrophic.) He went up on my roof after dark to clear the clog and had a good conversation with me about the cause of the issue afterwards. Importantly, he finished the work within an hour which kept my cost down. I was so grateful to have somebody to call afterhours on the weekend and was very pleased with the service. The cost was reasonable for an after-hours call as was the Peace of Mind knowing that my Plumbing was working once he left. In fact, my Plumbing has never worked so well. I would give more stars if I could and will call them if I have other plumbing needs.

I first called out roto rooters to fix two of my toilets and bathtubs that were backing up so bad and they were going to charge me $407 or said it could be up to $530 and I just thought that was too much for a possible snake.
