My bathroom sink had a mutant clog. Called Allens & made an appointment for Wednesday. They called & let me know when their plumber was on the way. Tim arrived about 15 minutes later. He went right to work & did a thorough job. Very pleased. Ive used Allens several times & have always been happy with their work. The lady who answers the phone was also very nice. 👍👍👍👍

We had a pipe burst and water was spraying all over the back of my house with no way to stop it. As things like this usually occur, it happened at 6:00pm so we had to go through the calling service.The lady with the calling service was very helpful and empathetic and got someone to our house within 20 minutes. Tim was the plumber who came to our house. I could tell he had just worked a whole day, but I have to say that Tim was professional and got our problem solved within an hour.Tim was pleasant, calm and thorough. He answered all of my questions and the work he did was outstanding. We have been Allens customers for over 30 years and I cant imagine going anywhere else. I have used Allens Plumbing 4 times in the past 10 years, and they are without a doubt awesome at what they do!! I have used them to replace my garbage disposal twice, fix my broken flange for the toilet, and most recently, to replace my water heater. They gave me great service, were on time, and gave me honest pricing, which is rare to find. No flat rate, they only charged me for the time it took to do the work (and parts of course) and they are quick and efficient!! If you ever need plumbing service, I would recommend them for sure!!

Allens Plumbing, Inc. dispatched Steve to repair a leak on an outdoor galvanized water main with dresser couplings in the front of my house and replaced two hose bibs in the back yard. Not only was Steve very professional and very quick in his work, he is also a great person that you would want to call as a friend in the way he treated me. Allens Plumbing, Inc. is not at the top of my list for plumbers... Allens Plumbing, Inc. is the ONLY plumbing company on my list from this day forward. The price was very reasonable for the work performed and I very happy with the work performed.

These guys were so helpful to me! After a full day of moving I inadvertently snagged an old hose on a pressure relief valve that I didnt even know existed, sending water shooting up about 20 feet into the air under high pressure. I had to turn the water off to my home overnight. First thing the next morning I called Allens Plumbing for help. They didnt have an opening until 2pm. I booked it and asked if I could be put on a waiting list in case there was a cancellation in their schedule. About 30 minutes later they called me to tell me about a cancellation and they were able to send someone out immediately. Andrew arrived to my home and knew exactly what was required to repair the broken valve. He mentioned the initial design of this pressure relief valve was poor because of exactly what happened to me; the design was highly prone to snag and breakage. Andrew was so great. He made the repair, and then went above and beyond to strap the new valve to the exterior wall to decrease the risk of future snagging and breakage. And he was very conscientious of the time frame, keeping his time at exactly one hour so that I would not be charged another quarter hour for just a few extra minutes of time. It was a pricey repair, but certainly not one I would have even attempted on my own. I found Allens Plumbing to be extremely accommodating when I was in urgent need of restoring water flow to my home. Now I know who to call if I ever have an emergency!

Ran into an issue where our tub faucet pipe was broken. I was thinking it was going to be at least a $500+ fix. Guy showed up and removed the pipe and replaced it, AND swapped out some washers in the hot/cold handles in the other bathroom as well. Ended up being much cheaper than I expected and now I went from 1/2 a functioning tub and shower to 2 functioning shower tubs.

When recommending Allens Plumbing to a friend, I came across these negative reviews. I can only speak for the the two times I have done business with them. The first time was when I had just bought a townhome which had been vacant for about 6 months. The water had a rotten egg odor and I called Allens Plumbing, explained the problem and asked them to come replace the hot water heater. I was told I should drain the hot water heater first to see if that helped. It did help and I appreciated not being taken advantage of because they could have just replaced it and I would not have known the difference. The second time I had them come to my home to unstop a shower drain. They pulled out a hunk of concrete that have been in thee drain since the townhome was built six years ago. Im sure others must have tried before to unstop the drain before we bought the place but Allens got the job done. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them for all my plumbing problems. Hope you do too.

We would have a hard time finding a better plumber in the area. Allens plumbing did our kitchen remodel a few years ago. More recently, they did our bathroom renovation which included the moving of a shower. Even with the hiccup during the project, they reallocated resources to return and perform the job properly. They have also been responsive. We had a leak in the main waterline to our house and they came right out to fix it. Their plumbers are profession, polite and respectful. We would call them again for help.

Great experience with Allens Plumbing. Steve came out the same day I called and was able to find and fix the problems with my shower and tub. Able to take my first hot bath in this tub ever! Thanks to Steve for his superior plumbing detective work

I needed a hose replaced on hot water heater....on call person, Jeremy stated would cost about $250-300, after I described problem on phone. Jeremy seemed to know what he was doing...but when finished...presented me a bill for $342.50...I told him that was not the estimate.I gave him my credit card and only authorized to him both verbally and on the invoice. to just run the card for $300 and to pls have them call me in the AM and possibly bill me for the balance of $42.50. Well long story short...they ran the card for the full amount of $342.50, Incidentally, Jeremy asked for the three digits on the back of the card and I refused to give it to him.I am happy with the work....and Jeremy was pleasant...but not happy that they disregarded my request to only run for $300.00I do not feel that was professional....also, he refused to give me any discount for finding on the internet/or for being a senior.As it was, I was in OVERTIME and paid handsomely for a minor repair...but had no water so I was willing to pay up to $300....I believe the tech should have informed me it could be more, when he arrived and assessed the repair in person.UPDATE: Allen had the decency to call me today...and offered to cancel the charge and re-run for $300 this month and $42.50 next month...but I told him not to....because my company holds the money out for 10 days. I really appreciated that he said it was a mistake....he went out of his way to review my case and discovered that the hose that had been installed was not only not up to code, but rather dangerous and that I could have been electrocuted, when the water poured over and I was standing in a puddle....He offered to help me by suggesting a website Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board and recommended I file a complaint against the person who had installed the water heater about 6 mos or so ago.His advice was expert and I believe worth the extra $42.00 dollars.So I am changing my rating.

Tim was out and replaced broken bathroom faucet, hand held shower faucet and kitchen faucet- did an excellent job- cleaned up after the job was done and made sure there were no leaks- this company should be very proud of him. Allens plumbing is the top one listed for our condo association, and I can see why- I have used them for many years and will continue to do so.

Want to give big thanks to Tim at Allen’s Plumbing. After a long day of redoing my landscaping, I pulled the hose too hard and litterally broke the hose spigot right off at the wall leaving only about a half inch sticking out. I was able get the water turned off at the main line but now had no water. Given that it was already getting dark, I just didn’t want to head to Home Depot in an attempt to fix it myself which probably wouldn’t have went well. I begrudgingly looked up 24hr plumbers and gave Allen’s Plunbing a call. Tim was out to my townhome in 30 min and after a bit of effort, had the old pipe removed, and a new spigot on. The $200 bill seemed reasonable considering Tim got out and fixed things so quick on a Saturday night. To get our water turned back and having our Saturday night not ruined by sitting outside with the mosquitoes trying to fix it myself was well worth the bill. Allen’s will be my “go to” for any plumbing needs going forward.

I cannot thank Allen’s Plumbing enough! HONEST, HELPFUL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, COURTEOUS.I had been told by the contractor’s plumber that I would have to tear out my shower and remodel my new bathroom to repair an unknown leak issue.Turns out it wasn’t in the wall or because of a faulty drain, your man said it was just a matter of caulking. Dry the area with a fan for a week and caulk with waterproof material should do it.He was so RIGHT! My problem is solved.Thank you again and again.Kay PetersonSt. Petersburg

I couldnt find a plumbing company to find my flow restriction in a recently purchased condo. The water heater had been replaced in 2022. In the 1st floor laundry and bathroom, we had a cold water flow restriction. Having a great past relationship with Allens as a young company, I called and ended up taking with Allen. After discussion I asked Allen if they would come to Tampa and take a shot. The following morning, after checking all obvious things, Allen came over. The next thing they were blowing out a segment of pipe. All of a sudden, this big blue marble like object rolls out and into the street. Allen recognized this as a part used in the Mor Flo water heater, which had been replaced in 2022. They put the system back together and the flow in laundry and bathroom is perfect. Steve came out and installed my water softner in my home. It was not the easiest pvc pipe job like a new home, or else I would have done it myself. This was and older home. Steve came out on time and did an amazing job for my home! I will recommend Allens plumbing to future friends and family!

Have worked with Jamin and his crew on multiple projects both personal and through my familys roofing business. Crew members have always been curtious, knowledgeable and on time. Jamin is a no B.S. guy who tells you how it is and knows his trade well. In a day and age where it is hard to find a reliable contractor period, I know I dont have to worry about that with my plumbing needs. Highly recommend these guys!
