The team that came was quick, professional, and helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions. They wired for a chandelier, installed an outlet, and helped out with some other issues. I definitely plan to use them for any future electrical work!

Shane and the crew at Quality Electric rewired my 1913 house in about 10 days, with a completely new panel.Its a huge investment, and its really worth it. The thing that surprised me most that I wasnt expecting... is how much fresher (and safer) the house feels with new outlets and switches. All the knob and tube got ripped out or deactivated (phew!). All the sketchy, different, patched together outlets and switches were replaced with new, up-to-code ones. Moral of the story: New electrical is a detox for an old house.We werent living there yet, and wed be doing extensive remodeling after, so Quality Electric was able make a mess that didnt need to be cleaned up each night, and they could cut access holes in the floors and ceilings.Overall, in the end, Im very pleased with the work that Quality Electric did. I didnt realize how big of a project it would be. Here is a quick list of my favorite things.1. Shane didnt rush the consultation or initial walk through before the bid. He listened to what I wanted and he also made thoughtful suggestions (like moving the lightswitch location for the front hall light and porch light to its most intuitive location -- because previous owners had the switch in a really weird place, and since I havent even lived there yet, I didnt realize how strange it would be).2. He provided a proper contract and written bid.3. Quality Electric coordinated the permit, the inspection, and all that. I didnt have to get involved in any of it.4. Shane was very careful cutting the new holes in the kitchen granite counter backsplashes. I dont actually even like the current granite tops and I didnt feel like we should take exceptional care of them (because I was dreaming of replacing them) but Shane refused to hack into the granite to install the new outlets. Now that were a few months further into the remodel and there is no money to redo the granite, Im so grateful that Shane was that careful because that granite is here to stay for the next few years at least. Fortunately, the cut-outs in the granite look very professionally done.5. We were able to salvage a few of the houses vintage light fixtures and Shane identified which ones had safe enough wiring that we could reinstall, and which ones needed to be rewired before reinstalling. Like I said, peace of mind!6. To pass inspection, I ended up needing to buy a lot of new light fixtures and Shane walked me through it, even down to which aisle in Home Depot to find the particular pantry light we needed.7. In a project as large as this, its normal that there might be a few miscommunications about EXACTLY which light goes in EXACTLY which spot (especially because I sometimes bought the wrong ones 😬) but in the end, everything was done right.8. The guys made my video doorbell ring an actual, physical bell. For security, I really wanted the video doorbell -- but it also creeped me out to get a Google Home Mini (the officially-recommended chime) because I cringe at the thought of it listening constantly. Some previous owner of my house disconnected the doorbell, and the wiring was a total mess. Despite all my efforts researching transformers and bells and connecting them to a modern video doorbell, I had no idea what components I needed. Again, Shane talked me through it and the doorbell works just like I wanted.I really appreciate all their efforts! If youve got a quirky old house, I highly recommend QE!

After talking to several electricians on the phone that were not helpful or very nice I finally called Shane. He was hands down the best and helped me fix my problem over the phone by taking the time to walk me through each step within minutes. If you’re looking for an honest and helpful electrician please give him a call. Best customer service ever! Definitely going to refer all my friends and family to him. Already shared his contact information with my landlord.

I have a running list of home projects, and installing the fancy pendant lights I bought 2 years ago (*face palm*) is one of them. I finally decided to check that to do off the list and began looking for an electrician.I found Shane at Quality Electric initially on NextDoor, but decided to go down the rabbit hole of online research before 1) letting a stranger into my house and 2) possibly paying out the nose for all of the electrical work I needed done in my 50+ year old house. YELP reviews were definitely enthusiastic so I decided to reach out.Well, Quality Electric lives up to its name!!Shane (the owner) was responsive to my initial out reach and was honest about how long it would take for me to get an appointment simply because he had a packed schedule with customers and was a man down. Hey, I love honesty and was grateful that he let me know up front rather than schedule time and then NOT show up--seriously that has happened to me more times than I can count its unbelievable. Besides, what are another couple of weeks when I had procrastinated for 2 years?So what makes Quality Electric soooo...QUALITY??Let me list the ways:1) Shane and his team (Brandon and Jamel) showed up early but came up to my door on time so they wouldnt bother me before I expected them (amazeballs).2) They laid down drop cloths so as not to scratch my hardwood floors.3) They cleaned up after their work was done, leaving no trace they were there.4) They were respectful, quiet where/when they could be (I was working from home and on calls so appreciated their efforts).5) Shane was great in listening to what I wanted/needed, and then followed up with me on things he noted that were deficiencies from previous electrical work that were dangerous. Nothing like melted and exposed wire to make a girl pay attention!6) Pricing was competitive and fair. They charged me less than I was expecting and appreciated Shanes clear explanation of the costs. Payment can be done via check or CC online so it made it easy to pay them.7) They are GREAT at what they do, and they seem to really enjoy it.8) Shane was really enthusiastic about my cats, and any person who enjoys animals is a better human in my book.Bottom line, Quality Electric is fantastic. I am impressed with their professionalism and efficiency and cant recommend them enough!

These guys are the real deal - extremely proficient at what they do, professional, easy to talk to, responsive, efficient and hardworking. We had a nightmare situation - part of the power went out in our kitchen and I thought it would be a simple fix. My handyman referred me to a great 4th year electricians apprentice who spend the better part of a week trying to figure out the messy work that previous (inept) electricians had done for us and concluded that we were lucky our house hadnt burned down by now and that it was too much of a liability for him to touch. He recommended that the kitchen be completely rewired and recommended that I hire Quality Electric (as did my trusted neighbor; both my neighbor and the apprentice had hired QE to rewire their entire homes). Shane was able to come out the next business day and complete all of the work on one trip, even though it meant putting some other work on the back burner. I appreciated that so much bc by the time he got out here, we had been without power in part of our kitchen for over a week. I was scared by the hourly cost he quoted me but these concerns were allayed by the fact that his team worked so well and so efficiently (and he was also very fair on the final price). Ive dealt with a lot of contractors since we bought our 1940s fixer upper in 2013, and have had good experiences with very few of them. QE is at the top of my list and I am so grateful to them for their invaluable work.

Shane and his crew are stellar. Easy to work with, responsive and excellent at figuring out the issues that inevitably come up with older homes. Family owned, and the guys he has working with him have been with him for years... which says s lot. Recommended without reservation.

They responded so quickly with text message. I tried another place and the earliest time for them to come in was next day after 3pm. This place is amazing!!! Wow!! They were able to solve my oven and microwave outage through text message. My oven and microwave would not turn on even if I tried turning on and off the circuit breakers and he or she was so generous to tell me that there should be another panel which I was not aware of. They did not have to come in to fix it and they responded so quickly with text message for my concern. This place would be my go to when i have electrical problem! Thank you so much for your help today! He or she is awesome!!! I highly highly recommend this place!

I had the pleasure of working with Quality Electrics Brandon and Jamel when installing a doorbell and EV charger into our new home. For both projects some unexpected challenges arose and Brandon and Jamel arose to the occasion, offering quick solutions and workarounds to complete the projects. The owner Shane was always quick to communicate with and provided fantastic customer service. Quality Electric provides quality service and affordable pricing! We will be returning to them for all future electrical project needs.

Talked to Shave a few weeks ago about installing a EV Charger in my garage. He was very polite and worked on a price that was best for me. He sent out his electricians Zach and Jamal and they were quick and efficient! They got everything done in an hour and the work was superb! They cleaned after themselves too and I really appreciate that! Thank you guys for the tremendous work and quality! Highly recommend!!!

These guys were great. They came out to change a dishwasher line from hardwired to a plug, scheduled for the next business day, worked efficiently, and charged less than they initially quoted. I will definitely use them for electrical needs in the future!

Shane and Brandon came out within 48 hours and were able to squeeze my little project into their busy schedule. I had several outlets that werent working, a busted bulb socket and a bad fuse within my panel that all were addressed and fixed within an hour. They were professional, efficient, friendly and very fairly priced. I couldnt be happier!
