My unit was 15 yrs old and he went over every option. Cost effectiveness and even showed me photos of the unit and areas of concern. He was extremely professional and a very nice man. I ended up deciding to replace my furnace and he facilitated the whole process and arranged for installation 2 days later. He was very knowledgeable and I am grateful for his advice and assistance.

Electrical review: This is the quickest Ive ever got to the computer to write a review, but I am so satisfied as a customer that I wanted to share. First, when I called to find out if they could assess the knob and tube wiring in my attic to determine if it was still active, Stephanie was very helpful on the phone and scheduled me for a complimentary visit and estimate, letting me know they charge by the job and not hourly. Adrian, the electrician came on time for his visit and was extremely helpful taking a preliminary look and letting me know about the troubleshooting process to come back and fully assess of the live knob and tube he found what it was powering. Adrian was seriously so helpful in answering all of my questions during his complimentary visit. When it came time to accept the estimate for the troubleshoot, I specifically requested Adrian back. He and JP came out for the troubleshoot on time and quickly got to work deciphering the wiring in my attic, crawl space, switches, and outlets. They were awesome! Let me ask more questions, and great attention to detail: screwed the sockets back with a level, had plate screws vertical, lined fixtures back up, and washing hands so as to avoid leaving prints on my attic door. Clearly explained what they found and provided two estimate packages for me to consider if I wanted to upgrade the wiring. Not only was their service fantastic, but the estimates were very reasonable for the work (huge contrast from the service and pricing I received from Bonney). Truly awesome for a licensed professional company that is one of the bigger ones with overhead costs they need to meet. I will definitely be calling up Huft Home Services in the future for any electrical, plumbing, or other needs for the house. Thank you!

Glenn was prompt to his appointment and explained the differences between a new heat pump system vs. a gas furnace. He is very knowledgeable with many years of experience, and made me feel very comfortable, asking questions. He explained the rebates available and priced out two options to replace my HVAC system and I was able to get scheduled for next week. I’m very happy!

I’ve used Huft for maintaining my Air/heating. It’s nice that they call me to schedule my maintenance appts. The technicians, are always friendly and very detailed in inspecting the unit. Nelson was my tech this time and was so very nice and even put in my filter without me even asking!! It’s hassle free with Huft!

Variable. One plumber didn’t know how to do a faucet installation. Others did and they came out and made it right. All very pleasant. In the middle is correct, on the left is incorrect. On the right is their return to make it right. Manny Torres has been particularly helpful and I will use him again.We replaced our HVAC system and the original install crew had trouble completing the install. Journeyman supervisor Justin Davis came out and was able to complete the install. Also very pleasant to work with.All these systems have become so complex (which is why I dont try to do this stuff!) that is understandable that not everyone has the complete skill set to complete a job. It is so reassuring that Huft has a deep bench and is is willing to get the right person out here, and so quickly.

If I had to summarize this company in one word: Heroic. Ive been a member of their loyalty program for a few years, and have always been impressed by their high level of professionalism, genuine kindness, and cost for quality. My husband and I bought our house 8 years ago and the HVAC system that was currently installed was only 4 years old. Wed had an independent contractor servicing our system until he got too ill to work (cancer). Its hard to choose a new stranger to come into your home and trust them to do the work you need without them trying to scam you.I had heard about Huft from a local radio program and decided to give them a try. Since then, Ive been incredibly happy with Huft, especially when our old and bottom-of-the-barrel system began burning through capacitors. The technicians who came out over the years have always been great at informing us of the promotions for a new system, but we dont make much money and its hard to spend more than $15k in one shot when we could just limp along with a new capacitor every year for much less money.This year, however, something broke on the AC unit and all of the coolant leaked out. It was going to be more money than was worth it to keep putting a band-aid on the real problem: the system is 12 years old and it wasnt a very good one to begin with. So... we bit the bullet and Huft really worked with us to get an affordable system with install PLUS attic insulation (of which, we had next to none due to the age of our house). Every single Huft technician that came into our home was professional, courteous, friendly, and, most importantly, an expert in what they were doing. Huft does not contract any of the work out - everyone that worked on our replacement system and insulation install was a Huft employee. That means two things: the quality of the work is guaranteed AND theres no hidden fees for 3rd party contractors.Im incredibly happy with the new system. Thank you, Huft!

When our 30 year old HVAC system finally failed a couple of years ago, I called Huft based on a radio ad. They sent someone out the next morning to give us an estimate for a new system, set up financing, and provide portable A/C units. Three days after that, we had a completely new system installed and running. The Huft team was very professional and the installation was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Huft came out on short notice and got my air conditioner up and working quickly. First day they diagnosed the problem and were able to locate the part locally (versus 2-3 weeks if it had to be ordered). The next day they were back in the morning and by lunchtime my house was cooling off. Both technicians, Evan and David, were friendly, polite and professional. I am very pleased and would recommend their services.

It was a hot and scorching day and out of all things that decides to go out, it would be my air conditioner. I called over to Huft home services and got some of the best customer service I could ask for. First I spoke with Brad Martinez and let him know what was going on, I then talked to one of the managers, Ryan Mark and let him know what was going on as well. He emphasize he can have someone out today to see what they can do to get us back up and running. Lastly, we had got one of the best technicians we could ever ask for Austin. He came and looked at my air conditioner and gave me news that no one would like to hear. Sorry sir, unfortunately, I was unable to get your air conditioner unit back up and running. He informed us that he will be writing up some estimates and sending them over so we can hopefully proceed with the work and get it done soon. I want to give a shout out to the awesome team over there at Huft Home Services. I will definitely be using them again in the future, it was pretty cool. He even informed me that they have plumbing and electrical as well.

Heater went out. Called on Monday afternoon and they said they could have a tech out on Wednesday afternoon. Arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the motor had burnt out. Initially said the part was available, but would be coming from southern Ca, but got a call within an hour of the tech leaving to say they would be able to get the part sooner and could come back and install the following afternoon. Arrived the next after at the beginning of the service time frame they provided and quickly installed the part and had it up and running.Overall outstanding response and service. Would highly recommend.

Huft was one of a couple companies we called to get estimates from. They offered multiple quotes/prices and we’re willing to price match certain systems. We ended up going with Huft because they offered a great system at a good price. I also appreciated that there was no high pressure sales pitch and gave us some time to weigh our options. The install techs did a great job at removing our old system (which was difficult) and completed install in about 5-6 hours. New system works great, actually have cold A/C now. Huft is worth giving a call for an estimate!

They did the job at the most basic level. It required removing and replacing the fan motor of the AC (which was 9 months out of the labor warranty, and less than 3 years old). After the technician finished replacing the fan motor, he came inside and suggested that we get the AC tuned up/cleaned out and he showed me a photo of debris in the unit. I asked how one would clean it. Apparently, it requires removing the fan (which he had just done for the repair). I believe excellent service would go the extra step to have cleaned out the debris in the process of doing the repair.

All the technicians have been great and I appreciate every one of them, but I wanted to thank Alexander for coming out last year and sending a detailed report with photos and recommendations for my house. Alexander listened to my concerns and made sure to include his findings in his report. Also, thank you to Manuel for coming out for a plumbing inspection earlier this year. We are at the beginning of a horrific heat wave in the 105-114 range and my a/c stopped working yesterday. I called Huft and they sent someone this morning. I am very ill and was getting sicker each hour from the heat complications. Chuc analyzed the problem and quickly fixed it. Turned out to be a capacitor went out. Trevor and Evan was easy to deal with unlike the ATTICMAN. I did not feel pressure by them. Trevor is a bit of a comedian. When dealing with Sacramento heat wave at 100+ degree its nice when a person can make you laugh. He was very informative and patient. He explained how things work in HVAC components and provided an HVAC 101 lesson. He spent a few hours during his visit and left written email proposals. In the end he said if we dont commit to HUFT that he respects our decision and wishes the best for me and my Lady. The ATTICMAN is not to be trusted. The service supervisor John didnt even want to go up the attic to do a thorough inspection of the components, stating its too hot, while Evan and Trevor spent about 10 minutes up there. John, ATTICMAN was nice when talking to my Lady, small talk , nothing to do the HVAC system. HOWEVER, when I began to steer the topic into the important business at hand he began to sound annoyed and irritated and less than pleasant when answering my questions. John wrote his proposal on a yellow notepad and had my Lady take a picture of it. HUFTs technician Evan and Trevor spent at least 10 minutes in that hot attic to give a thorough inspection of the components and ducts. It gets even worse, ATTICMAN has different price for duct work during the hot weather oppose to the cooler weather, a 3000$ difference. He tried to entice the offer by offering a portable AC loaner but we had to commit before the afternoon of the next day, total pressure tactic. And the absolute worst was J.T, the ATTICMAN technician that either missed or didnt bother to mention the fried out shorted wire to the AC compressor causing the AC failure. HUFTS technician Evan found it and got the AC running again. The HVAC system still needs to be replaced no doubt due to age but it definitely is NOT the job for ATTICMAN. They are high pressure salesmen and care nothing about the people in a terrible situation in need of help. They take advantage of peoples misery and try to rip them off. It is definitely worth having HUFT come in and give you an inspection or the estimate and if youre lucky you get to meet the knowledgeable and hilarious Trevor and the experienced and awesome Evan.

Our family first used Huft Home Services in 2016 when we replaced our full heating and air unit in our previous home. Back then, their service was stellar from start to finish. We have since moved from Elk Grove to Lincoln and had to have Huft out to service our new home as the upstairs was super hot and not cooling down. I was elated to hear they serviced out in Lincoln. Joseph was extremely professional, answered all my questions and relayed all information in a way that was easy to understand. Not once was I pressured to get something I didn’t need but he was able to tell me how much it could cost if I needed it in the future. I called up Home Services the other day because my heater wasnt working on my HVAC system. Jet, the technician what I was able to find a problem right away. Seems to be a valve that wasnt working and he got it to work. But I was having more problems this morning when I woke up. So I called Jet and he came out this afternoon and we discussed getting a new uniform me because my unit is over 15 years old and Im not getting any younger and I want to be comfortable in my house. Jet is a really good person and technician as far as I can see but I know he is a good person I talk to him for about an hour. You told me I can get a new unit on my budget and I was very happy cuz I didnt want to put any more money into my old unit so Im very happy that he was able to get me a nice unit to put on my house on Monday. So I am excited I really like that Huff Home Services was able to come out so quickly and take care of my problem. Ray has been working with me for several months on locating a challenging part for my guest bathroom toilet (since February). Each time Ray or his team came out they worked with me as the customer to attempt to fix the toilet, but the standard parts were not working so we had to special order the parts (I paid once in February and every service call or part purchased since then has been covered under their guarantee). Ray came out and fixed the toilet as soon as the parts came in.I also have used Huft for other plumbing services including the most recent kitchen sink fix which was also completed by Ray. What I like most about Ray and Huft is there professionalism with their customers and their focus with saving the customers money! No matter who I have worked with they have been professional, kind, competent, and punctual. Ray is an excellent team member for Huft and I will continue to use Huft for all of my plumbing needs.

We purchased our HVAC system from Huft about four years ago. We get regular maintenance service on our system twice a year. The technicians have always been very professional and thorough. Today we had Elijah Treadwell out to do the regular maintenance on our AC system. Elijah was exceptionally thorough and did a great job. He called us to let us know he was on his way, arrived promptly, did a thorough inspection and cleaning of our system, showed us pictures of the various components in the attic and outside AC unit, and went over everything with us. He was very friendly and polite and a joy to work with. We would highly recommend Huft. And we would also recommend Elijah. Really every technician we have worked with from Huft has been great. Elijah was just exceptional.
