This has been the second time having to use Dependable Rooter and Plumbing, due to the bad piping that was installed prior to us owning the home. They were great to use the first time that I didn’t hesitate to contact again. Andrew showed up on the weekend to check the situation we had going on with the leak. After an estimate, Riley quickly got it scheduled for that Monday to be repaired. Juan and Jesus showed up on time and were quick with the repair. Everyone I had contact with at the company was professional and great to deal with. Would highly recommend using their services.

Float issue on our sewer sump pump. Another plumbing company had tied floats up incorrectly after clearing a blockage in the tank. Had to call them when alarm went off but they found no blockage and system works. Few days later sewage over flow and the float alarm did not work. Frustrated I tested the float myself to verify it works when lifting up manually. The alarm went off and the pumped came on and did its job. Decided to call Dependable Plumbing, their plumber Richard is professional and he arrived in a timely manner. He confirmed the floats were getting tangled to intermittently not work properly. Greatly appreciate his advice on repair options. His honesty currently saved us money, the original plumbing company ended up adjusting the floats at no charge. We will definitely call Dependable Plumbing if we need the future repair options. Thank you!

Many thanks to Andrew and his crew. These guys came through for me.First of all, my problem started on a Saturday. I called many plumbers and these guys were the only ones who not only answered their phone, but were able to come out in a reasonable time.They resolved my initial issue and also noticed a larger problem, namely tree roots growing in the pipes that flow out to the sewer.They were able to get back out there the next business day and got all the roots taken care of.On top of being fast and efficient, everyone was super nice. An absolute pleasure to work with this crew.I cant say enough nice things about these guys.Totally recommend.

My toilet started backing up yesterday so I called Dependable Rooter & Plumbing. They showed up the next morning at 8am to fix the problem. Anyone who has had a backed up toilet knows the need to have it fixed ASAP. Dependable showed up, diagnosed the problem (combination of tree roots and offset pipe), then fixed the problem, all within an hour or so. Andrew and William were extremely kind and knowledgable and used the latest and greatest equipment. The prices are very fair as well. They got my whole home sewer (which was overflowing onto the driveway) fixed and working within an hour. Amazing job, will definitely use again

Last fall we had Dependable come out and clear our sewer line and install a clean-out (see my last review). At that time, Taylor advised us we had a huge rootball in our sewer line that would continue to cause us issues. He provided an estimate for a hydro jet service to break up the rootball. We had Taylor come back a few weeks ago to perform this service and also provide some additional estimates. Taylor and Oscar did a fabulous job with clearing the rootball via the hydro jet. They also spent a good amount of time assessing the other issues and explaining options for how to address. This is the 3rd service we’ve had Dependable perform because we have received exceptional service each time. Taylor and Oscar were professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dependable.

This is the 2nd time I have used this company and I strongly recommend their services. I love their professionalism, communication throughout the service and the quality of work they produce. I have had many plumbing problems at my house over the past 10 years and other plumbers that I have used only fix the surface issue, these guys get to the root of the problem, so once its fixed its fixed for good! You get what you pay for, others may save you money upfront but that has cost me more in the long run. Dependable plumbing has given me peace of mind and I feel the cost is appropriate for the quality work they complete. Today I had Andrew and Jesus and they did a great job, thank you both!

I am so glad I called this company. I moved here last year and had an unusual problem with the cold water line. As in, no cold water during the Summer months. The cold line ran only hot, scalding water for about 2 mop bucketfuls until it cooled down to lukewarm-ish. We have plumbing in the ceiling, but this was ridiculous. Richard came out and correctly diagnosed the problem as a missing check valve. Who knew, I thought I needed more attic insulation. Jesus and Omar came out to do the work and they did a great job. They also fixed a small leak at the main water line and brought our water heater up to code as some genius had installed a plastic tube instead of a copper pipe on the water heater. They may not be the cheapest in town, but you know you get what you pay for. I would definitely use them again. I am happy to write this review for them.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!and additionally, special shoutout to Francisca!!! i was having a meltdown due to a big leak in my yard. Francisca was comforting, helped ease my mind and was very attentive. She made sure to go over every step of the process, what to expect before during and after repairs, and followed up to see if everything went smoothly. She kept in contact with me every step of the way.I also had Andrew, the owner, come look at something else. He came at the drop of a dime and walked me through what could possibly be happening in detail and further steps.Having a company that makes sure the customer is heard, cared for and given knowledge really makes a difference.

Taylor and Con were able to come out the day we needed them. We had slowing of drains and toilets that quickly turned into sewage coming up into the showers. From the beginning, both Taylor and Con were professional, polite, respectful and went over and above. They did a thorough inspection and took the time to really figure out what was wrong. They then gave us 4 choices ranging in depth of work and price, we felt no pressure. and they answered our many questions. They did excellent, efficient work, and cleaned up so thoroughly, they left my sons shower cleaner than before =) We are so glad we finally found a really great, local plumber!

Truly appreciate the honesty and experience of the technician (Taylor) that came out to clear our drain today. We had a partially obstructed toilet drain that we were unable to clear ourselves. Dependable was able to schedule the same day, assess the issue, give me my options and pricing scenarios based on their opinion of the issue. I felt comfortable with the technician in my house, he clearly had significant knowledge in his line of work. For a service company, their high rated reviews are pretty telling of the type of business they run. Highly recommend.

Stayed until the clog was confirmed clear and toilet was reinstalled like new.I was impressed with the level of care bringing equipment upstairs and also with the cleanup after work was finished. He recommended an associated colleague for drywall repair, and I’m pleased with the quality of finish on the patched area; they even matched the paint color without asking. With the multiple tasks needed to complete the work, Andrew coordinated with plumbing, furnace, and flooring teams.Andrew and his crews are all friendly and polite. They didn’t hesitate to help or answer and questions we had. They also cleaned up their work space as they completed their work for the day. They took care to protect our furniture and belongings when working in certain areas of the house. The crew also worked extra days to complete their task in order to meet schedule. Great experience. They give you convenient arrival windows but then make sure to call you 30 minutes so youre not stuck at home waiting for them the whole time. Ariana was courteous and efficient and made sure that I knew exactly what was going on and why. We thought we might have to wait a day or two to get a part, but she worked hard to find it for us and completed the job within a couple hours! Their straightforward pricing is also convenient and easy to understand. No hidden charges! Theyre definitely my go to plumbers from now on and I will be sure to request Ariana!

I wish they had a 10 star rating option! We were in a very stressful situation the week before Thanksgiving 2021 with our home in Rocklin which we rent out. We live out of state and our property manager at the time was not responding appropriately to the leak issue. Dependable Rooter not only came in with less than 24 hours notice but they also successfully diagnosed where the leak was coming from and advised us of issues we needed to be aware of. After dealing with almost no communication from our property manager for almost a week Andrew S. would call and update us every few hours and sent a detailed description and photos of the issues and worked incredibly well with our restoration company ERC. Together they made the most dynamic team and I hope our misfortune paid it forward to a great new business relationship with Dependable Rooter and ERC. We have such peace of mind now knowing if we have an issue we know who to call and they will care for our home as if it was their own. Thank you Dependable Rooter!!! My apologies it took so long to write this review!!!

I called Dependable Rooter & Plumbing because the main sewer line at my home backed up. Within three hours of my call, service tech Taylor arrived and located the problem. Additional technicians William, Jesus, and Juan were dispatched to assist with the project. The owner of the company, Andrew, visited our residence several times to check on the progress of his team and took time to speak with me. The job covered 2 ½ days and required two large holes to be dug (by hand) to expose the problem area of the sewer pipe. I was kept informed of the work progress and advised in advance of any pricing adjustments that were required due to unforeseen issues that arose. I have dealt with other plumbing contractors in the past and I can say without hesitation that my experience with Dependable Rooter & Plumbing was an extremely positive . Everyone involved in the project worked extremely hard , were professional, friendly and courteous and kept the job site clean. I highly recommend Dependable Rooter & Plumbing.

I was able to set-up a timely appointment with Dependable Rooter & Plumbing. Overall the service tech was personable & knowledgeable and the diagnosis was fair. He did not try to upcharge me or sell me something I didnt need, but did explain my options, which I appreciate.However, I was left a little confused...I was given an indirect quote for what I would need replaced, which was a bathroom vanity. I was a bit shocked by the price, (not out of ignorance, as I have already looked into this replacement as an overall renovation project, but never as a specific separate cost) and mentioned I needed to think about it for a minute, so the tech said he would send me a quote and proceeded to leave. I appreciate not being pressured to make a decision, but I really was not quite finished with the discussion. I felt like I was missing something, however I wasnt going to pursue him if he was eager to leave.I have yet to receive a formal quote at the time of this review (I dont even know the companys timeline/protocol to provide a quote for other services, as this wasnt explained), but I have received at least 4 emails/texts to leave a review. So I assume my service order is closed? Hmm, Im not sure, but I wasnt comfortable with how the transaction ended, yet not bothered enough to follow up with the company directly for a better resolution. No harm no foul. The company seems to have really good reviews, the lady who took my initial call and the tech were both friendly and personable. Maybe I will have another opportunity to work with them for a basic plumbing repair issue to provide a more productive review of their actual services.

Water heater leaked yesterday, called their company and spoke with Patrick. He was able to send someone to check the leak in an hour. I’m really surprised they sent me a picture of the person who will check the leak (building trust). Ariana came and as soon as she saw the leak, she told me the tank needed replacement. She also checked the leaking faucet in the bath tub (been leaking for more than 2yrs but kept procrastinating to have it fixed). She’s very knowledgeable and troubleshooted it right away, found debris on the line. She was helped by another efficient worker, Jesus. They fixed the problems on time. Ariana had that kind approach, straightforward and great skills. Really awesome job guys! Very commendable!

I called Dependable to look at what I thought was a faulty garbage disposal. They sent over Pedro who quickly determined that the disposal was fine but pointed out an issue with the sink that I had no idea was at the verge of leaking. He also fixed our tub spout which was leaking. Pedro was very friendly and efficient. I’m very happy with the service and will call Dependable again should then need arise. Hopefully, I’ll be able to work with Pedro again as well!

Spent the entire morning with me going through the house and basement explaining all the details of plumbing, heating, infrastructure in a 100 year old house and why I had what I had and how what I had could improve. Discussed the difference between galvanized steel, copper, cast iron and interplay between the 3. Helped me understand codes and permits. Very thorough. Very detailed. Very trustworthy. Doesn’t pressure you into purchasing. Expects loyalty but deserves it as well. Very very professional. Wore shoe covers every time they went from outside to inside and from basement to inside. I would recommend them and plan on using their service again. Oh and I called them at 630am and they were out here by 9am. Same day service!

Sam was also very knowledgeable and spoke intelligently about our problem and possible solutions.He gave us no pressure, allowed my wife and I a few minutes to discuss our options in private and then got straight to work. I had a pretty good feeling when I called and Patrick asked How can I make you smile today? Scheduled an appt for the next day and said timing was flexible--got a message that Taylor could come over 2 hours earlier. Awesome. He showed me the problem, what caused it, and explained what he was going to do as well as pricing. Nice guy, fast, neat work, and totally professional--of course, I hope I dont have to use them again, but if I have plumbing problems--I wont hesitate to call Dependable!

Ariana was our technician today. It was a quick phone call to the company and they were able to dispatch within 10 min. Originally we were having issue with the new washer installation due to the frozen pipe, and thats why we called Dependable. Ariana was well knowledgeable and experienced, was able to identified more issue with our place such as the leaking water heater, and possible leak at the main water shut-off valve. Although there will be more work done...but were happy that she was able to make a list for us before anything goes really wrong. We have no experience with using plumbing service before, not sure about the reasonable cost for the service; but for someone in need of having the washer replaced, Dependable came in the right place at the right time. We have no complaint with the cost. Overall, very good service!

I just had Taylor out to look at a leak under my sink. He was wonderful! So nice and friendly. He was very honest. The issue turned out to be a very minor thing. He gave me an option to replace a part but told me he didn’t think it was necessarily needed at this time unless I wanted to replace it. He could have told me to replace it and I would have. I don’t know anything about plumbing. The fact that he was up front and honest about the issue and actually saved me money, I have found this very rare when hiring someone for home repairs. Our experience with Dependable Rooter and Plumbing was above what we expected. We had rusted galvanized water pipe issues, a redwood tree over 50 ft. tall and a lifted driveway, which also had the water line running under it. Dependable took the lead to acquire other work groups and oversaw the tree removal, replacement of the driveway and pipe repairs. After work was started, drain pipes were found degrading and the trees food supply due to its roots were found in and around the sewer pipes. We chose to have the additional work done rather than putting it off. Now crews, time lines and inspections were extended. Work was organized in a manner that we were able to remain in our house. We were kept abreast with what was going on and questions always had answers. They were also the most knowledgeable and helpful group we have had the opportunity to work for us. They are not cheap, but neither is their work. Do not plant a redwood in you front yard! If you did, call Dependable Rooter and Plumbing.

Quick great response to major sewer clog which signaled a ready-to-fail cast iron pipe sewer system to be replaced with plastic piping. Eventually required major replacement of virtually every sewer and lavatory pipe and several water (copper) pipes in our 2400 sq.ft. two-story home. Involved lots of difficult work under house and lots of in-kitchen and bathroom sheet rock and paint replacement. Included a 5+ feet deep sewer clean out in our yard.All work done exceptionally well. Everyone was very friendly and polite to us and to each other; great teamwork from people that work together very well. Tough job done on budget and timely (five large pink vans and a car were parked nearby on busiest day). Special kudos to:> Davids and Mikes excellent diagnostic and supervisory work.> Jose and Juan who did excellent and extra sheet rock, painting and cleanup work. > Immediate attention to a (n accidentally) broken thermostat wire under house--they called in an expert at their own expense (>$500) who installed a great new wireless thermostat.> a surprise and very pleasant visit from General Manager Sara to finish job and show her appreciation with before and after pix (and wine and T shirts and more!)My wife Kathy shares my opinions above and was especially impressed with Joses general and bathroom cleanup. It looks like they are all about making the customer happy.

Very happy with the outcome. Taylor analyzed the situation to ensure that there we no mitigating factors why a pressure relief was leaking (e.g. a failing PRV). Provided multiple options to address the leaking pressure relief valve (not on water heater, but a separately installed valve was leaking). After deciding on the valve replacement option, the work was completed within the hour (including picking up parts from a supply warehouse). Work area was left as found and the new installation looks better aligned with a faucet right next to it than before. The high quality part should last another 15-20 years. Taylor provided some education on the water system and the current setup, as to be able to look for any other signs in the future of something not working correctly with the plumbing before it becomes a problem. Also realigned the water pressure inside the house. The companys service is not inexpensive compared to some others out there. I still felt it was worth the investment.

They truly stand by their name! Our downstairs toilets suddenly became clogged and there was a backflow of sewage in both bathtubs. After calling several competitors, my husband reached Andrew who was professional in his inquiries about our sudden issues. Initial phone call was professional, was kept informed on who my service tech was and when he would be arriving, recommendations where made however was not up-sold on anything. Tech is not paid on commission and I never felt any pressure to pay for anything extra. Their pricing is all pre-determined so it was a straightforward service. Would use again.

Its been several years now that I have used dependable plumbing for both my home and other real estate. They can do anything from replace a facet to complex large projects that require permits and dealing with the city for you. On one property the main sewer line had an issue with tree roots breaking it. The figured it out with cameras, showed me and I hired an arborist to remove the tree then the very next day Dependable Plumbing had 4 trucks and a crew of 5 guys put in new pipes to the street. I have not had an issue since. They wont be the cheapest, only slightly more. The way I look at it I want the best, so I dont have future problems.

Had a whole house water descaler & filter installed by another company. The other company messed up the install when it could not stop the leaking of the pipes it caused. I called Dependable Rooter & Plumbing and explained the situation. They were able to sent out Jesus & Juan the next day earlier than they thought. Jesus & Juan fixed all the issues by ripping out the other companies work and redoing the entire thing. When they finished no leaks and now my home has clean tasting water. Jesus & Juan explained all what they were going to do and even took time to answer my questions while they were working. In the end they even cleaned up the mess the other company left behind.
