    Mark was the first person who came out and he was exceptional! Very personable and did extra to make it what my husband I really wanted, everything he promised happened. When it came to install day they were in communication with what was happening, Garrett and hunter showed up and were great from the get go, they worked all day to get it done correctly and fix a wiring problem that had occurred. I had a minor issue after install with my condensate line (existing one from old unit) being clogged, Pete came out and cleared the line right away for me and my system has been running great ever since! I would definitely recommend them, they do what they say and will make it right if itā€™s not. Thank you all! Also Maurice and Jordan are great too!! They did an excellent job sealing up the unit, very neat and professional!

    Great Company. Been our A/C service company for over 20 years. Called in about a non-working system. Tech came out that day and identified that our 20 y/o system had finally died. They had a replacement unit installed in a little over 24 hours. Nice new system - way more efficient - energy saving. Install and service techs are top notch.Highly recommend.

The team was quick, efficient, and professional. They had excellent response time and maintained clear communication throughout the process. The repair was completed easily and with care.     Shawn was wonderfulā€”professional, knowledgeable, calm, and kind. There was water coming from my dadā€™s garage for a few days and I live out of town. The neighbors and I thought it might be the hot-water heater but it turned out to be a sprinkler-system pump (using well water) that was shot. (Bless those neighbors for turning off the water to the house until I could get there at which time the sprinkler pump was shut off.)I had Shawn come out anyway to check/PM the hot-water heater and he turned the water back on to Dadā€™s house. He then asked to check the entire home to verify that there were no more leaks. He checked under all sinks, toilets, and the washing machine. When he found some corrosion behind a vanity from the Pex to the wall, he made me aware, and I asked him to take care of it so that the home would pass inspection.He then went around the outside perimeter of the house to check things out. He mentioned some options for turning the water off, if needed. I wish plumbers in Orlando were like Shawn! I can tell you stories!

    Positive experience with American Air & Heat. Had an AC unit not cooling properly, they came out, provided good options, and offered helpful advice. David was a polite, well informed, efficient, and no pressure service technician. Although my service dates had to be rescheduled, it was well worth the wait. We were referred here by a neighbor and were not disappointed. This is our second service call and both times they were professional, helpful, and the fix worked. We have referred them to other neighbors and will call upon them for any AC heating needs!

    I have used American Air & Heat, now American Air & Plumbing for 20 years. I will continue because they provide excellent service at a reasonable price. Most importantly, they care when we call with an emergency. Recently as of today we needed service on a late Friday afternoon. Eric and Dave showed up to bring our AC back up. You cant do better than American Air & Heat. p.s. A shout out to Zack, the dispatcher and Lori, the manager. Great people.

    Kudos to American Air and Plumbing for doing a great job on each and every step.The initial visit identified the major faulty installation performed by another company, who shall remain nameless here but will remain cursed in my memory.After agreeing to AAPs suggested repairs, we set an appointment for last Friday. Hurricane Martin ripped across our county on Wednesday. They still wanted to come over on Fri, but our power was out. I called AAP on Monday to let them know power has been restored, and their crew was headed to us within 30 minutes.Their 2-person crew was very knowledgeable and professional. They walked me through the basic steps of installing the correct air handler coil unit, replacing the water saturated and mold-lined plenum, and several other repairs. The meticulous and comprehensive repairs took about 6 hours.The price was reasonable for the work done.2 regrets:- Im lousy at remembering names, so I cant thank the crew individually.- I wish that Id had American Air do the installation correctly in the first placeThanks!

    We highly recommend American Air and Plumbing as a quality provider of a/c equipment and superb installation.We have used American and Plumbing for all our a/c needs since 1995 (or so). They have always been fair and professional. So, when we needed a new heat pump, Mark from American Air came by the same day we called (a Friday).Professional and friendly, he explained our choices. We selected the Daikin heat pump. The following Monday, Eric and Hunter arrived and installed the unit. Despite rain and wind, they completed the job with very little mess. (The install required replacing the copper piping between the heat pump and the air handler, which involved digging out part of the small garden around the heat pump.) The install was excellent. The instructions on using the new unit were complete and Eric didnt leave until he knew we were comfortable with the new set of controls. There was no mess when they left Even the garden was in good shape.The next day, I noticed the door from the laundry room to the garage no longer latched. The door was removed to allow access to the air handler, then replaced. I called the office. They sent Bill within an hour of me calling. He fixed the door in less than two hours. Well done.

    Last year I had an issue with my ac, Iā€™m not sure of the rep I spoke with but she gave me information over the phone to save me money. She didnā€™t have to but by her doing that I had their number stored in my phone so Iā€™ll know who to give my money to if I had an ac issue. Ac issue occurred yesterday, tech came out got straight to the point and fix my AC in no time. Thatā€™s what I call great customer service.

    Great Service- Very honest. They fixed my unit with a new blower and bought me some time before I have to replace the AC unit completely. When I do, I will definitely call American Air.     We are selling our house in Cocoa and the buyers inspection noted a possible leak. I called American Plumbing on a Wednesday afternoon and they were able to get a plumber to my house the next morning. Micheal came to the house on time and went straight to work. He found the leak, replaced the affected parts and was finished in about 2 hours.I would highly recommend American for any of plumbing or A/C issues

    Justin was very good at overseeing and Aaron & Paul were just great! Worked hard & cleaned up all debris. They found & fixed a bad leak under the slab under a big Jacuzzi, which was removed. They showed up when they said & were courteous. They worked hard! I would certainly recommend them.

    My AC stopped running Tuesday night around 8pm. I called American Air at 8:15 Wednesday morning and Pete came out and found the problem, and then fixed it in an hour. Very good service and Pete explained why the part needed replacement and had one with him. I purchased a maintenance program so they can come back to tune it up twice a year. Top notch business!!

    What do you do when itā€™s 4th of July, your air went out, itā€™s 85 degrees in your house, and you are having a party in a few hours? No one works 4th of July- right? WRONG! American Air to the rescue! The tech came immediately and fixed the issue. Iā€™m glad I purchased a service contract- 4th of July service rates are much lower with that. You never know when your air conditioning is going to hiccup and leave you sweating. I am so happy I have service through American Air.

    Bill diagnosed the problem with my two Air Conditioners and David did a great job in repairing them as quickly as the circumstances would let him. The parts needed to be ordered so that took a few days for them to be received. David also completed the removal and installation of the two Condensation Drain Pans by him self, even though its usually a two-man job. David spent over 4 and a half hours at my home and worked till 6:30 PM so my house could be air conditioned again. I also want to complement the scheduling folks at American Air and Heat for getting a technician out to my home very quickly. Thank you very much for your efforts!

    They are honest and do a very good job and are a very dependable company. The repairman was very nice and explained everything that was happening. Only bad thing is after paying maintenance agreement, which I do each year there was a new cost. I also had to pay 185 dollars for the maintenance agreement. This seems double payment for same thing.

    Phenomenal service and customer care. Anout a year ago they gave me a fair quote on an AC unit and the install went in without any issues.     My A/C went out last night and I called them this morning and the receptionist told me something to try which was a big help then they sent Anthony/David over within a couple hours which checked out the system which immediately started cooling down.     The American Air & Plumbing technician, Anthoney, was early and was very professional about evaluating and fixing our HVAC system. Fortunately he was able to quickly diagnose the noise in the air handler and tighten the loose bolts. He had our system running quieter less than 15 minutes after arrival.     This company deserves more than a 5 star rating! My air conditioner died on a Friday night. I was anxious about getting a company to come out on a Saturday to check things out! After many calls (everyone who told me it would be at least until Monday), I spoke to Lori, the secretary at American, and she had two representatives here in 15 minutes!! DJ and Dave evaluated the situation and told me I needed a new inside and outside unit. The system was 17 years old so I suspected this would be the case. They gave me a fair estimate and I agreed to go with the installation which would take place on Monday providing they could find a unit to fit my space. In the meantime, due to the hot temperatures here in FL, they provided me with portable AC units to keep my condo cool until Monday. I was a bit skeptical and worried that they would not be able to get a unit by Monday, however I received a text at 8:15 AM on Monday telling me that they were on their way for installation! Garrett and Ephraim arrived and went straight to work- they did not even take a lunch break!! I had a cool condo by 5:00 PM with everything cleaned up and back in its place.     I requested an estimate on installing a mini-split air-conditioning (AC) unit from American Air and Plumbing (AA&P). They were immediately responsive and sent a rep out in very short order. The rep was very knowledgeable and professional and I received an on the spot estimate to install a mini-split AC unit to air-condition my garage; his estimate was within my budget and in line with similar cost estimates, so I contracted with AA&P to install the AC unit. They were able to schedule me the next week. On the install day, the two AA&P techs showed up on time and got to work immediately. They were very courteous and professional and willing to respond to my questions as the install progressed. They were very meticulous and focused, and the install was completed well within six hours. At that point, I had cool air flowing into my garage. They explained to me the operation of the unit, cleaned up and hauled away all debris (packing boxes, extra installation materials, etc.) from the work site, and did not leave until I was fully satisfied with all aspects of the install and my confidence in operating the AC unit. AA&P have two very fine and capable techs in the crew who installed my AC - they deserve bonuses for their work and demeanor representing their company. I cannot recommend AA&P to highly - they have served my HVAC needs for a number of years and have always been very responsive. The mini-split unit they installed is made by Daikin - it has been performing flawlessly for a week now, even in this extreme heat. It is easily programmable with the included remote, and you can set the desired temperature and run times to maximize efficiency and minimize the cost to run. Like the AA&P guys who installed it, I cannot recommend the Daikin mini-split AC too highly. If you want value for money, professional installation, and a company that stands behind its customers, you cant go wrong with American Air and Plumbing.

    Our A/C went out on Sept 20. We needed a motor blower and was told by the technician and the lady at the call number that it would take 3-4 business days for the part to be delivered. Itā€™s now been 7 business days. The lady I spoke with this morning said that sometimes parts can take up to 6 weeks to get in. This morning I was told the part may be in on Monday. It wouldnā€™t bother me so much if the company had scruples and an honest estimated delivery date instead of telling us 3-4 business days, which is a flat out lie. You should tell your customers it may take up to 6 weeks and if the part comes in earlier, great. But do not flat out lie. Iā€™ve spoke to a lady on the call line every morning to get the status of the part and was told I would get a call back from the ordering department. Nobody has ever called back. Very poor customer service and an attitude from dispatch because I check every day and she is annoyed is unfortunate. I would not recommend this company, simply because they lied to us. Thatā€™s not good business practices. They lied about how long the motor would take to come in, they lied about getting back with me. My husband told me not to complain because they will take longer just for spite. He was right. Our air ducts are accumulating black mold from the condensation, my antiques are getting condensation, and it petty mug equal to us laving our dog in a car. This is going to be a costly expense for us to get the air ducts cleaned alone. And knowing they lied, the expense of a portable A/C unit I will now need to purchase today to breathe (COPD) is going to break the bank. But they do not even care to follow up with us. Not once have we gotten a call back from this company. My personal advice would be to go with an honest company.Update: I received a text message which I copy/pasted below. This company was not responsible for the part ordered, another company dropped the bomb:Hi Gail, I just spoke with Louis & ur motor just came in, Pete is going to come install it this afternoon. I received information from Goodman that Steve @ Goodman never actually ordered your motor & we kept being told it just want in yet. His manager is Robert & I would appreciate it if you would call him & voice your frustrations to him, as we have taken a very damaging post on Google & complaint on BBB, for a situation that was not our fault & only being able to pass along info that it hasnt been received yet.     Garrett and Ephraim installed an new 15 SEER AC/heating unit at my residence today with professionalism. The installation was not easy for them due to the design of the house, which created problems in running PVC and copper lines from the inside to the outside of the house. It also required them to access the attic to install the UV light in the air purifier unit, which under normal conditions would have been done inside the house.After only a days notice, they started work at 08:30 and didnt leave until 16.30, and cleaned up all the debris and dirt that was created during the installation. I recommend American Air & Heat since the company knows how to hire and retain a high caliber of workers.

About an hour later the tech arrived and within less than an hour I had an operational AC. The problem was a PC board which he replaced. Only hiccup was getting called Monday morning (2 days later) and finding out they couldnā€™t come out that day because they couldnā€™t get an air handler until that afternoon. However they were courteous enough to call us first thing in the morning Monday and let us know. Instead they came on Tuesday. Install was long but well worth it in the end. The two techs were friendly and professional and offered good advice for thermostats if we wanted to change the one we got. Overall we would recommend this company.

    A/C went out at 7:30 p.m. on 8/10/2023. Called American Air & Heat. Scheduled a service appointment for 8/11/2023, 3-5:00 pm. Repairman came earlier then expected. Problem resolved by replacing the fan motor. A/C working fine now. The service guy was very pleasant and worked as fast as he could to fix the problemšŸ‘

    LOOK NO FURTHER. After a few weeks of being jerked around and still left without air conditioning; a coworker recommended this company. I made a request online for a quote at night and they called me the following morning to ask about the issues and make an appointment. They were there the next day; and at the time they said they would be there, not even a minute late. I needed a full install due to the age of the former unit. Other quotes prior had left me puzzled and aggravated. My home was built in 59, so it was not as straight forward and easy as a newer home. It was also a conversion from gas to electric. I received the quote and made my appointment for install just as easily as I had the quote appointment. The guys came and did a terrific job. All was done and working within the day. An issue came up after the install that was no fault of anyone, other than the houses age and the convoluted old wiring... in short, they came back out and fixed a problem that was not theirs to fix; and refused to bill me for the wire & materials it took to repair the circuit. The quote never changed; despite legitimate reasons for it to increase. They stood by their word and did EVERYTHING and then some to make sure I was happy and well taken care of. I have nothing but praise and thanks. Theyre the oldest AC business in Brevard; and as far as Im concerned... now, the ONLY one. Very professional, courteous, and accommodating. BIG BIG thanks to Gary & Eric. You guys are the best. THANK YOU.

    Our existing AC failed one afternoon in August 2017. Had Micah come out and check on our system and he clearly laid out some options, both for repair and for replacement. We decided on replacement and the prices were very competitive with other AC installers. They even had a portable AC unit to get us by (a couple days in August) until they could install. Matt and Chris were the installers and were extremely professional and efficient. AC worked phenomenally as soon as it was kicked on. Since then, had a family member come over (he had worked for an AC company before) and was blown away by how clean and thorough the install was. Told another family member to make sure to have these guys do the install. Nice work Chris and Matt! Micah was very thorough in the estimate process and explained why he felt the options were right for us.     I had my old A/C replaced with a Daikin Fit 5-ton unit. The sale manager Mark was very professional and honest, took his time to explain the whole installation process. I am very happy with the work that was done. I received a notification via text that the 3-technicians Brandon, Eric and Garrett were on there way to my house for the installation. They arrived 8:30am and were done by 3:00pm. They were very knowledgeable, respectful they removed the old system and installed the new one also cleaned up and hauled everything away.

    The folks at American Air have been great and I highly recommend. I had an out of warranty outside unit with a leak and it was more economical to replace the entire hvac system (plus the part was unavailable for months). American Air did what they promised for the install time and price. They also have followed up to ensure a good install. I also recommend getting the extended parts and labor warranty. My neighbor (different hvac company) has had the same issue with his outside unit but his unit was covered under his extended parts and labor warranty.

    American Air & Heat took such good care of us. Living beachside is awesome but not when your AC unit totally breaks down in July.The crew showed up on time and installed my new 18 seer Florida Addition AC. This company is professional, both in explaining the unit, installation and clean-up. They dont try to up-sell anything, just give you what you need and pricing is spot-on. The unit is super quiet and cools off the house very quickly. Very pleased with the whole experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

    I am extremely impressed with this Company, their employees, DJ and Raymond, and the customer service department at the manufacturer of the A/C they sold us. DJ went above and beyond to find us the parts needed to repair our air handler. I was disappointed that something broke after a little over two years, but thankfully it had a 10 year parts and labor warranty. DJ provided advice and empathy. He would return my calls in a timely manner. Most importantly, he prioritized our case, so we didnā€™t risk losing out on the sale of our home. I canā€™t say enough good things about this company and would highly recommend them for sales, maintenance and service!!!

    Absolutely fantastic service! Scott, the service representative who came to repair my unit, went above and beyond to get everything fixed up correctly and quickly the same day I called for service. The young lady that scheduled my appointment went above and beyond to get Scott to my residence earlier than expected by calling back and fitting him into my schedule. Gary, the warranty representative, went above and beyond to ensure all services and parts were provided efficiently and effectively. When I initially called for service, I did not have high expectations due to our societys decline in customer service standards. However, American Air and Heat went above and beyond to provide the greatest service reminiscent of our countrys past of hospitable service providers.
