Our experience working with Sovann was excellent! He replaced our front steps with maintenance free decking/railing and put in a patio. His flexibility with changes and attention to detail was exceptional. We hope we have more projects for him!

With a master’s degree in civil engineering and 15 years of experience in the construction field, Sovann’s expertise truly shines. From the initial contact to the final touches, everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail! They installed a picket fence, landscaped a retaining wall, replaced an exterior door, and even helped address some issues around the house, like suggesting updates to my deck to meet current codes. Hi I am Jean Mathis, I live in Cambodia where I renovated several apartments in Phnom Penh with the help of Sovann’s construction company over two years in 2018 and 2019Renovation is a very difficult task, even more so in Cambodia. Sovann completed the job beyond my wildest dreams and came up with creative solutions to solve all the unforeseen complex problems that came up during the project. And when something was not up to my expectations he would do it again until ends were met. His technical expertise and his understanding of its clients’ needs are really impressive. On the whole working with him was an absolutely stellar experience so I can only recommend him to anyone who want to build or renovate a house. We are very pleased with the work of Mr. Sovann Kong, just finished outside the South West corner of our home.Sovann planned the replacement of the old pergola with our input until we were satisfied with the design.He removed the old structure as part of a separate project that he completed before starting the new construction.The construction took place in February 2024, thanks to exceptionally mild weather, with interruptions forthe typical Minnesota snow and frost. As the pergola frame took shape we agreed on a fewchanges that Sovann implemented. We were impressed with his flexibility in accommodating the changes werequested, and his commitment to a robust and aesthetically pleasing result.Sovann is wonderful to work with if one understands that his time/calendar awareness is more elastic thanthat typical of local expectations, and is made up by careful and flexible execution.

Sovann did a great job replacing my door sill and door plate. I thought I would need to change out the whole door but Sovann was able to replace what was needed .He came over on a Sunday and had the job done in just a few hours. Will definitely call him again for other jobs.

He put a safety railing on my side door cement steps, which is where most everyone comes and goes at my house.He was very friendly, conscientious, and took his time as he had to work around the unevenness of the step.
