Wow, Randy & Sons Plumbers is a fantastic plumbing service! Sure, their rates are a bit high, much like most plumbing services. However, unlike many other services, they offer the quality service you deserve. Benjamin, Jacob, and Zachary are always on time, well-informed, straightforward, comprehensive, and they never leave a mess behind. I have a home warranty service, but in case of an emergency, no other service can match their quick response. Warranty services are wonderful for appliances and electrical issues, but when you find yourself with walls leaking, ceilings dripping, pipes bursting, toilets overflowing, or water heater issues, you need to call Randy & Sons Plumbers.

We had been on the hunt for a reliable and knowledgeable plumber with solid customer service skills. We stumbled upon a plumbing and air conditioning service and gave them a call, given that our home has plenty of plumbing needs due to ongoing renovations. To our delight, Zachary was just the professional we were searching for! He is not just a plumber but also an efficient, courteous, and clean professional. Its even an understatement to say that! Zachary excellently installed a toilet in our master bathroom, set up faucets in both the guest and master bathrooms, and even installed a new sink with a motion sensor faucet flawlessly. His work is so good; we like to say he has golden hands. Weve scheduled him to come back to install a toilet in the guest bathroom, a garbage disposal system, and a water line for the refrigerators ice maker. Hell also be setting up our smart wifi thermostat for the air conditioning system. I would confidently recommend Zachary to anyone without a second thought. Had a great initial encounter with a plumbing job at our Redlands condo apartment. The P-trap primer valve under one of our bathroom vanities was leaking, so we decided to replace it and another one, even though we had no idea what they were before the plumbers arrived. In a nutshell, these valves can be tricky and the pipes leading to the floor traps they were supplying were blocked. Our plumber, Jacob, and the supervisor, Clinton, worked with us to first try to install new valves. However, when it turned out that the pipes were indeed blocked, they came back and guided us on how to remove the primer valves, cap the pipes, and install trap seals in the floor drains. No more leaks under the vanity! No more gases from the p-traps! Were extremely satisfied with the results and their excellent customer service!

Goodness me, Jacob from Randy & Sons Plumbers is truly one of the most compassionate individuals Ive ever met! I reside in an older rented property and out of the blue, a sink hose burst, causing a flood in the entire basement. In a state of panic, I dialed the contact number for Randy & Sons Plumbers and was relieved when an actual person, not a recorded message, answered the call. Jacob guided me through the entire procedure of closing off the water supply in the unit and the valves linked to the damaged hose. He also assisted in restoring water to the unit and wisely informed me that it was safe to utilize water in the rest of the house without impacting the burst hose. After a brief assessment, it was clear that I required a new water boiler and the primary water line to my apartment needed replacement. as it was a Sunday and my housing association was off, he had to return the following day. Zachary was there ahead of the projected time (which is a rarity here in redlands) and did an outstanding job replacing everything. Id like to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received from Clinton, who initially visited my home and suggested the hydro jet service to address my kitchen sink drain issue. Benjamin, a certified jetter, arrived later and skillfully performed the hydro jet cleaning service from my rooftop, down the vent pipe, through the drain blockage, and all the way to the main sewage line. Additionally, a camera inspection was conducted to ensure the drain pipe was clear and clean, and to bring any other potential issues to my attention. The service was successful and my kitchen sink drain is now functioning perfectly. Prior to calling the plumbing service, I attempted to clear the blockage myself using a 25-ft. and 50-ft. drain auger and a medium-sized drain bladder, but none of these methods proved successful. I would also like to extend my thanks to Zachary, another plumber who arrived later with a pipe camera and an electronic water drain tool. He also provided recommendations for additional future drain pipe work and gave me an estimate. The amount I paid for the hydro jet cleaning service to clear my clogged kitchen sink was completely worth it, considering the frustration I faced with dirty dishes and silverware and failed DIY attempts. In summary, the experience and expertise of these professional plumbers were invaluable, and I would highly recommend their services. When it was time to settle the payment, the amount quoted was $350 instead of the initial $79. It was then explained to me that the evaluation had escalated into a diagnostic process, a detail that was not communicated to me during Benjamins visit. However, I managed to receive an estimate and the repair was successfully carried out. Benjamin was extremely courteous and did an impressive job. The only hiccup was the unexpected change in pricing, which was not clearly communicated to me initially. This meant I wasnt given the option to choose whether I wanted to proceed from an evaluation to a diagnostic. It was automatically done without my being aware.

Im usually able to manage most plumbing fixes on my own, but when I encountered a stuck Moen cartridge in my valve, I reached out to Randy & Sons Plumbers, whose trucks Id seen around Redlands. They were able to provide same-day service, impressing me right off the bat with their swift response. The woman who took my call was extremely professional. Before dispatching him, the company sent me a detailed profile of Benjamin, the plumber assigned to my case, complete with a photo, which I appreciated. Benjamin inspected the stuck cartridge and offered two quotes - one to replace the cartridge if he could extract it, and another in case he needed to remove part of the wall to replace the entire valve. I was initially disappointed that I hadnt been able to remove the cartridge myself, but I was relieved when Benjamin successfully removed it three hours later, saving me a cool $400. It turned out that the cartridge had been installed improperly during construction, with the cartridge stem left in place when the shower riser and supply lines were soldered. The heat from the soldering torch had fused the plastic cartridge to the brass casing, a problem even Benjamin hadnt encountered before. Randy & Sons Plumbers not only provide a fast response, but they also offer accurate quotes and professional, courteous service. They are refreshingly transparent. While replacing the valve might have been easier and more profitable for them, Benjamin rose to the occasion and solved the problem. A month later, I asked for an estimate on a 40-gallon short boy water heater, and Benjamin said he or a colleague would email it to me. Im still waiting to hear back on that, but they were prompt in slapping their stickers on my water heater and garbage disposal. Despite this minor delay, I appreciated the job well done.

There was also a small incident where Jacob used my bin to dispose of some stuff from his truck, which I noticed from my security camera footage. The plumber who came to assist us, benjamin, was an absolute star. he managed to solve the issue of the blocked pipes in a blink of an eye, showcasing his professionalism and friendly attitude. benjamin was kind enough to provide his services late on a sunday evening, allowing us to operate our washing machine and dishwasher before the hectic work week commenced. he also shared fascinating tales and displayed extensive knowledge about fixing up old houses (we have an old, previously foreclosed house). benjamin completed the plumbing task from randy & sons plumbers swiftly and effectively, and went above and beyond to give us some tips to better understand the complexities of our old house. he was fantastic.

If your project isnt urgent (unlike on-call emergency repairs), Benjamins quotes are valid for ninety days, unlike other services that only offer thirty or fifteen-day validity. This provided me with more flexibility in terms of time and budget, and they gave me their initial quote within 48 hours (while other services took a week or more to respond). One factor that stood out to me was their readiness to negotiate the cost of the initial consultation, which I initially found too high compared to other services that charged nothing. Their willingness to negotiate, coupled with the swift provision of the initial estimate, demonstrated their professionalism and commitment to their work and my project. The team that arrived on the day to carry out the work were professional and knowledgeable. They responded to all technical queries and carried out a thorough cleanup after the work was done. This took place in Redlands, and I was impressed by their work ethic.
