    I called Modern Electric after reading the reviews here. Marcin and John were excellent-I am beyond happy to write a review here myself. I asked them to disconnect several light fixtures, a cooktop and a couple other built in appliances. I was expecting them to leave the parts as other electricians have-on the floor or counter for me to figure out later. Marcin and John took the time to reattach every screw and mounting plate so I wouldnt lose them and could reinstall them later. We had a 930AM appointment, and they were there early. The price was reasonable for the work as well. I will be calling Modern for any electrical need in the future.

    Modern electric was excellent to interact with. Marcin provided a quote as well as completely explained the process of installing a generator hookup in our home. His work was incredibly clean and the finished product was great. He took the time to be sure we understood how to use the generator and the way in which it interacts with our panel.     We would highly recommended Marcin for all your electrical needs! He is professional, pays attention to detail, and does not cut corners. It’s important for us to have the job done well, and Marcin was terrific. He had offered us suggestions and made recommendations on items we were not sure of. He took the time to explain things. In addition to wiring, installing outlets, recess lighting, vanity lights, and relocating washer/dryer outlet, he also set up our camera systems outside and installed additional flood lights. Family members have also used Marcin’s services for various projects and all have been pleased!

    Modern Electric handled electrical changes for complete kitchen rebuild. Explained code requirements in detail. Added required receptacles, GFIs, new circuits, and amazing under cabinet LED lighting. Coordinated timing with other contractors well. Very clean and exact install of outlets and lighting. Took considerable time finding energized wire end buried in ceiling and removing it, cutting into new ceiling carefully and re-installing 3 ceiling pieces and plastering joints expertly before he left so it would dry overnight and keep things on schedule for other contractors. He replaced awkward looking under cab lighting connectors by meticulously removing them and soldering connections instead. Marcyn is very conscientious and takes great pride in his work.

    I highly recommend Marcin for all of your electrical needs. Marcin is professional, on time, and gets the job done the right way! If you can’t make up your mind on certain aspects of your project, Marcin will suggest and recommend his professional opinion on things you’re unsure of. I’ve had a multitude of recessed lights installed (all newly wired and new switches installed), electrical panel upgraded, generator switch and outdoor connector installed, central air condenser hooked up, along with a few outlets and light switches relocated. Lastly, there were no worries of clean up after the project as he’s a very clean contractor leaving the home just as clean if not cleaner. Highly recommended!!

    I used Modern Electric to ensure hookup of portable generator was set up, including installing transfer switch. The quote I received was very reasonable for the work requested and the work was done very timely. Marcin took the time to explain how it all works once completed so I would know how to use it once the time came. From start to finish, I was very pleased with his work, his professionalism, and his fees and would highly recommend him.

    Marcin is an excellent and extremely professional electrician. He completed our new construction home, providing great advice from his years of experience.
