Happy we went with MC Electrical to hang our foyer chandelier. Very responsive on the initial email inquiry. What I appreciate the most is their honesty. We were quoted a price to come do the work which we agreed to without hesitation. Sam came out to do the work and realized it was not as extensive as originally quoted and dropped the price. I cannot say that many, if any, other companies would do that. Very impressed and will definitely use them in the future for our electrical needs.

I contacted MC electrical to help with replacing a circuit breaker panel in my basement. They were responsive, and it was easy to coordinate the visit. Of all the electricians who came out, they were the only ones who were customer centered enough to ask if I wanted a pull cord installed so I didn’t have to keep climbing on the ladder in the basement. I look forward to having them back for future work.

MC Electric upgraded my electrical panel to 200 amp service and installed an Ev charger. They were absolutely great. Sam is very friendly, responsive, and was always on time. Im an electrical engineer, so I had somewhat high expectations for the work. Sam and Matt were both very knowledgable and their workmanship and end product were excellent. Their prices were also very reasonable. I would not hesitate to ring them up again if i need additional work done.

I highly recommend working with MC Electrical for any of your electric needs. Matt and his associate, Peyton, installed a ceiling fan in my old home and did a phenomenal job. They went the extra mile to bring the box up to code, and also made sure to install a special steel reinforcement bar for ceiling fans. No wobbling here! Our experience with MC Electrical Contracting, from the initial discussions on the installation of a Generac whole-house generator to the final walkthrough, was exceptional. Sam and his team made a fantastic first impression that was maintained throughout the project. Their meticulous and neat work, both indoors and out, met the high standards one would anticipate from seasoned professionals. They efficiently repositioned our unused telephone and COAX cables to accommodate the new Generac panel in the basement, while also neatly rearranging our CAT5 cables and network switch. The result left us thoroughly impressed. After the installation, Sam took the time to thoroughly explain the operation of the generator and the panels, as well as what we should expect during a power outage. We wholeheartedly endorse MC Electrical Contracting for their outstanding service.

MC Electric helped me with Siemens Versi EV charger install outside my garage. They were very professional throughout the process. Got quick quote and early date for the installation. Electrician came on time and explained the whole process. Completed install in time. Later on, I felt that charger was not high enough on the wall and it may accumulate snow during winter. I requested them to move it up. They honored my request and moved it up to suggested height without any more charges.Thank you so much MC Electric for everything.

Sam and Matt came highly recommended by a friend who was installing a couple of split system air conditioners for me.I have a quirky house. It’s a post and beam on a slap without anywhere to hide the wiring. They did an incredible job routing conduit on the outside of my house so that it is barely noticeable. They were quick and efficient and the job ran flawlessly. Everything looks and runs great.I am very happy with the price I received and the quality of work performed. Just recently he installed a 50A inlet and circuit panel interlock to accommodate a new generator. We had a great experience. We needed help replacing an old ceiling fan with old wiring, and addressing some other issues from past homeowners. Communication was great, and I was looped into the work being done each step of the way. I felt Sam was really knowledgeable, which was super reassuring. Everything was resolved, and the new fan looks great! I also appreciated that Sam wore booties in my house over his shoes, used a drop cloth for falling ceiling debris, and swept my floors when he was done! We would absolutely use them again.

Matt and Sam are great! I am so glad I found them. They were personable, put up with my dogs, listened to what my needs were and found reasonable solutions. I had to be out of town when some of the work was taking place and my brother was watching my house. I asked him how I did picking the right electricians and he agreed that I chose a good fit. When they found an issue with some prior electrical wiring (they did not to that work) they came up with a solution and plan that makes my house safe and keeps my budget in check. I really appreciate their honesty and the quality of work they did. I will have them back for many more projects as time allows. Sam from MC electrical was an absolute pleasure to work with! He saved us from having to leave our home for several nights! We had a tree hit our house during Hurricane Asicia and it ripped our power meter box right off the side of our house. He came promptly and fixed and installed a new box in a few hours! The initial consultation and communication with Sam was very pleasant he was very responsive and knowledgeable and explained the full process of adding the additional breaker and wiring for a portable generator in terms that could be understood by non electricians. Sam made himself available for questions while we were in the research phase which made our decision to go with MC Electrical that much easier. During the construction phase Sam worked on maintaining the esthetics/integregity/appeal of the siding when installing the wiring against our home and was happy to answer all questions we had while in the process. With all thats going on with the pandemic he kept his appointment and was respectful and mindful about wearing mask and we are truly happy with the service we received.

MC Electrical has helped us with a few projects at our house and they are always professional and are very knowledgeable. we had a room in our house that had bad wiring in it from before we bought the house and we basically lost electricity to the entire room. The team at MC Electrical helped diagnose the problem and restore power to the room! They also helped us with some smaller projects like outlet replacement, outlet installation for a sump pump and garbage disposal, as well as a bathroom fan installation. Had my service upgraded to 200 amps in preparation for a central air installation. I work outside the country but Sam made it extremely easy and took care of everything. Not only was their price the best but the installation looks pristine, they even replaced part of the wiring on the outside of the house for me. Nice to have someone you can count on, it seems that reliability is a lost business practice these days, but not with these guys. 6/5

Matthew and his team were incredibly flexible with scheduling. The initial consult definitely assured me that I chose the right team. Matthew knee exactly what needed to be done. The ceiling fan install (in a very old house) was done seamlessly, without a trace of dust left behind. They also took a little extra time to help me install three AC window units. Highly recommend. At first, I was very skeptical about hiring someone from on-line, but the minute I contacted Matt and started talking with him, I sensed I was hiring the best. Matt was very professional, very personable, and he was willing to answer any questions I had. I called the insurance agent to let her know I had hired an electrician, but that he couldn’t do the job until Nov. 6! She was skeptical about that and I got very nervous. Matt was not aware that I had been misplaced from my house. I called him back and told him what happened and immediately he decided to do the job a few days earlier. Thank God for that! I called the agent back and informed her that Matt was willing to do it on Saturday instead. She agreed and I felt more relieved. However, I called Matt back and asked him whether he had a license because I didn’t know him from apples. Without any hesitation, he answered my questions, and he even said he was insured and certified by the state of Ct. He also affirmed to me that he was certified to connect the cables into my house and that I didn’t have to wait for Eversource to connect them. That was a great relief for me. From the beginning to the end, Matt was very consistent with himself, loyal, honest, very receptive, and transparent with me. Their job was impeccable and they treated me with the greatest standards of professionalism,integrity, and respect. Matt and his crew were very efficient and they completed the job when they said they would. Additionally, they cleaned up after themselves, and once again, Matt explained everything to me making sure that everything was to my satisfaction. Usually, I am very picky and fussy when people come to work in my house, but this time, I didn’t have a reason to be. You guys were flawless. I found this company online. I was desperate! Half of my house had no power. No heat and a potential fire hazard. My service panel was taking on alot of water. I picked MC because they are local and they have great reviews. I called the next morning at 730am and spoke to the owner Sam. He came out and made things safe and got the heat running before 8am! Wow! Who does that? That night we scheduled a complete service and panel replacement. Co-owner Matt came Friday with 2 Steves. From beginning to end these guys were very professional. This was a straight up quality job. Neatly done and fast. I need more work done and will call MC again! Thank you!

They installed recess lighting, installed arc fault breakers in my panel, labeled the panel and might I add they worked very efficiently. When they showed up to the job site it was time to work! I called Sam on a Sat morning about a real minor issue with a bad circuit breaker. He got right back to me. After some short texts, he said Matt would be able to come over and look at my problem. I would use Matt and Sam again in a second and recommend them to anyone regardless of the job size.

Sam & Matt are true professionals in every facet of their work and the overall experience was without question an A+! From Sams thorough and extremely reasonable estimate, patiently answering all my questions in a manner I could understand, to Matts skillful wiring of the new electrical panel while I stood over his shoulder picking his brain, these guys were an absolute pleasure. While inspecting the exterior wiring, Sam noticed that the power line to the telephone pole had been spliced and suggested it be replaced. He then made arrangements for the power company to replace the line (at no charge) while we were away on vacation resulting in no interruption of service. Watching and interacting with these two professionals while they were completing the job made it perfectly clear that their overall goal is customer service. Sam even returned to meet the building inspector for the final approval. If youre looking for extremely fair pricing, professional and reliable service, and an overall great experience, Sam and Matt are your guys!

Had a sub panel installed in garage, plus whole garage wired. Great guys, they came back to me after initial estimate and worked with me to provide a more in depth estimate that saved me some money. Not only that but the estimates are most detailed I seen, everything is black on white, all the labor to be provided and all the parts and cost related to both, makes you feel secure that both parties are on the same page of what you want to be performed, is what they going to do. Other places gave me a typical price estimate with maybe 2 sentences of the work to be done, the confidence in the job is not there. Highly recommended.

The guys at MC understand customer service! You call they answer. You text they text back. They saying they are sending an estimate that day, youll get it and it will be broken down to the electrical tape cost not just some flat number with no detail or breakdown. They say theyll be there at 8am youll see them at 8:03 at your door.Polite, courteous and accommodating. We added a couple extras on the project as they went and they adapted quickly and took care of everything without hesitation.-Price -I called 10 electrical companies and the prices were all over the place...Were there cheaper options, sure (2 to be exact). But MC was within 6% range of the lowest quotes and worth the couple dollars extra.The way they conduct business will make you happy you didnt go with the guy that sent a text price and then didnt show up on the first day. I can also say, call them before that big named company (begins with an A and they drive red vans) because that company gave me a quote almost 3 times MC price.-Overall-Sam, Steve and the guys are quality top notch tradesmen who take their work personally and will leave you 100% satisfied you chose them to work on your projects. Glad I chose them!

We hired Matt to install a ceiling fan in a room with a 24 foot ceiling, with no existing wiring to the fan location nor a suitable box to mount it to. We had previously contacted 7 electricians to do the job, with no luck over a nine month time frame. Our ceiling fan job was not one that anyone was willing to do for us, well that is, besides Matt. The job required electrical wiring, carpentry work to build a mounting box, and 20 foot scaffolding. We found Matt to be very honest, hard working, neat, and professional. Matt stood by not only his work as an electrician, but the overall outcome of the job, which in our case, meant that he ended up installing 4 fans for us before we found the right fan for our space. When we first told Matt that the first fan was making an unusual ‘clicking’ noise, he told us to not worry, that he would “take care of us’. As it turned out, the motor in the fan was defective. There were more fans to come, and Matt went way above and beyond his responsibility as the contractor, so that we would be 100% satisfied. We can’t recommend Matt highly enough, from his easy going personality to his overall work ethic. Contractors like Matt are hard to find, and we are very happy that he is our electrician. We can’t be more pleased with our new fan!
