I cant say enough good things about IHN. They have serviced my home on huge projects like sewer lateral replacement as well as everryday plumbing issues like clogged drains and sump pumps. They always come with a well stocked truck to meet any needs you have. They are very responsive and priced fairly. Their service staff is respectful, knowledgeable and take the time to explain what needs to be done. Highly recomend!

I did some research before starting my basement remodeling project. Had several companies come to provide me a quote. I learned more from Jim, the owner, about things to look for than anyone I had met with. I needed an egress window installed and I learned that they are also Master Plumbers, Radon Specialists, and Foundation Experts. I found that by hiring The IHN company I was able to get all of these services provided for my basement remodel.They were able to secure my basement from any future moisture migration along with providing a complete sump pump re-build. I had my Radon system moved during this portion of the basement remodel. The men were polite and asked if there was anything I needed before they left for the day. They cleaned up after each days work and were punctual the following morning. The workmanship far exceeded my expectations, not to mention the one source with a reasonable price.

Had a leak appear in our basement suddenly while having the basement finished. Contacted another company and they blew us off. Out of desperation I contacted IHN on a Saturday and one of their on-call technicians (Mike) called my husband and walked through some techniques to troubleshoot the issue. Ultimately, over the phone they were able to determine that the problem was coming from a sliding glass door in the kitchen and not the basement walls thus saving us time and money. If. anything arises I plan to use this company in the future. Thank you Ihn!

Honest, reliable and fair pricing. We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling which was coming from the upstairs bathroom. I called Ihn and spoke to Annie. She was very kind and able to get us on the schedule for the next day. Mike came to evaluate the issue and clearly provided us with options to fix the issue. It was obvious he had good knowledge in what he was doing. We will be using Ihn from now on for any future plumbing needs.

I rarely post reviews about businesses, but I felt compelled to recognize IHN because they’ve really done a great job for us on more than one occasion.We hired IHN to install a liner in our lateral two years ago. They did a great job. They were on time. Their employees were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up afterward.We also hired IHN to take care of a backup in our sewer line. Annie was/is an amazing person. Extremely customer service oriented, and is a person who just genuinely tries to help you out. There really aren’t that many people like her around anymore.They were able to get someone to our home right away which I really appreciated. I had a great experience with IHN Plumbing, especially Annie, who I spoke with multiple times on the phone. She was incredibly helpful and very kind. Annie helped me with all of my questions and worked with me on any concerns I had. IHN was able to send someone out to my house the following day and when Jake arrived he explained everything that he was going to do. After evaluating the situation with my floor drains, he clearly explained what IHN could do to help me. Jake is very knowledgeable and I was confident that he was giving me good information. IHN sent out a crew within a day or two and worked on clearing my floor drains. Unfortunately my cast iron pipes needed to be replaced so IHN came back in a couple days to replace the pipes. They showed up on time and finished the same day. I am very pleased with IHN Company and I highly recommend them.

Pricing was reasonable, and Mike and Annie were fantastic to work with. Would definitely recommend them for any plumbing job you have.

We recently bought a house in Brookfield, WI that needed foundation repairs. We had the Ihn Company and Accurate come out and inspect and quote us on the job. We ended up going with the Ihn Company because their price was more competitive, their support beams were bigger and better, they were more thorough and called out the need for an additional sump pump, and could get a crew out within days vs weeks to get the job done.After a complete drain tile replacement, partial wall reinforcement and an additional sump pump job was done by the Ihn Company we couldnt be happier with the work they did. The attention to detail, quality of work and piece of mind we received from Kurt and his team leaves our minds at ease knowing our basement will be good to go for the future.

I was referred to Ihn by another plumbing company that performed services that they didn’t. I needed work done in my shower, water was leaking to my basement and they scheduled me the very next day. I was very pleased with their performance. The service man was honest and very helpful, It was very noticeable that he was looking out for the best interest of me and my home. It’s very difficult when searching for an honest and trustworthy company, however, Ihn went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend them! I worked with other company’s that just looked for reasons to charge more when it wasn’t necessary. The Ihn service man did the opposite, he wanted to save me money!

Called IHN for an emergency drainage pipe that required almost 20 guys to dig down 4ft through a 15 foot section of my kitchen - they were able to be there the next morning on a Friday, knocked out everything and had us back in ship shape by Friday afternoon - service is always great, the people are very knowledgeable. They might not be the cheapest option, but they are reasonable and (in my opinion) the BEST option. Thanks again to all the folks at IHN for all the work you did for us at Brisco County

Ihn quickly and expertly diagnosed the cause of our clearwater seepage and replaced the original drain tile in half of our basement... connecting it to the functioning system and sump pump in the other half of our basement. We highly recommend Ihn for its expertise, quality and efficient work, and fair pricing. We also had Ihn complete some unrelated plumbing work, and our assigned plumber was punctual, friendly, and an expert at his trade. Again, very fairly priced. If you need basement|foundation|plumbing work done, you only need to contact Ihn.

I had the Ihn Company out to fix a very minor leak in a length of galvanized pipe we have in our old 1920s Tosa home. Doug was incredibly patient, helpful and courteous, and his workmanship was top notch.Unfortunately, as is the case with old houses with galvanized pipes, the work must have knocked some rust/corrosion loose, which worked its way up and into our shower, causing a significant decrease in pressure. I called the Ihn Company back on a Sunday morning to let them know, and they sent Doug back out the very next day (Monday). He showed up within the promised time window and had the shower working again in under an hour. He was again very friendly and helpful, even answering my questions and explaining all the stuff he was doing.Most surprisingly (and graciously), he charged me nothing for the follow-up work. They must have considered it part of the original job. I am in awe of this!! I will definitely use the Ihn Company again.Our home inspector recommended Jim Ihn and his company, and now that Ive used them, I would recommend them to anyone else in need of a plumber. Thank you!!!

IHN recently completed a sewer drain line replacement in our late 1960s home. They arrived on schedule and completed the replacment in just over 2 business days. The crew and Jake were all pleasant and very respectful to me, my wife, and our property. They even wore masks. The also built in time to clean up after the work was completed. We highly recommend them and will consider them for any future jobs.

We were without hot water for maybe a week while we were out of town (my son was here and told me we didnt have hot water). Once we got home I tried every conceivable way to get the water heater working but had no luck. I made several phone calls to have my water heater repaired or replaced and was eventually referred to IHN. I called IHN and spoke with Annie who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had to call her back several times to figure out payment and schedule and she was very patient and courteous with me. She initially scheduled me for the next day but was able to fit me in the same day, which was great to hear considering we had been taking cold showers for a few days. The installer, Doug came out at the scheduled time and was very informative. He showed me exactly what needed to be done, how it was going to be done and how long it would take. He got it installed in a timely manner and took the old one away. I would definitely and already have recommend IHM.

We hired IHN to help identify staining on my folks foundation walls. After Kurt inspected the area he said that further testing could explain the possible issues. We are selling the house and are tight on time. Kurts testing revealed issue with drain tile pitch and water not traveling to crock. He was able to accommodate our need for repairs and in less than a week he had a crew of professional and courteous young men on site to complete repairs.Once they began they encountered an issue with a leaking cracked cast septic pipe. Living 2 plus hours away returning another day to have additional work completed was difficult, Will was on the phone to expedite the process. Will was kind enough to help assist me in locating the pipe that required exposing, which was not part of the deal.Kurt returned and had a plan to get the job done. In todays world customer service is rare, however; IHN is a true exception. Kurt and crew answered all my questions intelligently and treated me with respect. I was treated as a person not a number. Kurt is man of his word! Thank you for the quality workmanship!!

Ihn did great work on a recent plumbing and foundation job we had them do in our basement. We want to build a nice rec room including a new bathroom in the future, but the space was simply not laid out for it. Ihn came in and said they could move the support posts to clear up space, put in rough plumbing for a future bathroom, move the main plumbing stack, and move the floor drain so it would not be in the middle of the room. This work would have taken us months to get done. Ihn had it done within 4 days. For the plumbing stack – they actually came back the next day after thinking about it as they said they could simply ‘do better.’ I was amazed they did this as it was not something we had requested – they told us they simply weren’t happy with their work after they left and wanted to re-do it. I can’t recommend this company enough. They took a tough job and did it quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

IHN was recommended by a friend. We used them for a plumbing emergency in our kitchen. They offered to come out same day although we opted for next day. The plumber showed up exactly when I was told and we discussed the issue. He quoted me a price range and give me a time estimate. Once fixed, the price was within the range and he was completed by the time he estimated. Very professional and good quality service. Ive had them come back since to give a whole house plumbing quote. Ill use them again the future.

We had another company come out multiple times to snake our pipes to septic. Finally they put a camera down and told us our pipes were bad and had holes in them. They said they would have to cut holes in our floor that has hydronic heat to repair it. They never called us back with an estimate. We called IHN. They gave us a timely and reasonable quote to flush out our pipes and look at them with a camera. Once cleaned properly, we found that the pipes were fine and there were no holes in them! They sent a large crew and they were all friendly and professional. We will use IHN for any services moving forward! I would highly recommend this company!

Mrs Annie was the one who called an scheduled the work, she was very friendly and answered all the questions and concerns I had regarding the scope of work I was having done. Now, Tony and the crew who came out to my property and performed the work was very kind very professional and respect my home I really appreciate that alot. Tony explained to me what he and the crew was going to do and what I could expect in regards to, how long it would take them ,the noise I could be hearing as they work and the running in and out for materials and equipment. After the work was completed Tony walked me to the work area showed the finished work he and the crew had done..the area was sweeped clean and they had placed all my items back in its places and the work was great. Ihn came out right away for a free assessment. I have some minor water coming through one wall in an unfinished basement. They gave me an honest assessment on what might be causing the seepage, their process to evaluate it and what a fix might entail. I was given some tips on what I might do to alleviate and monitor the problem before potentially opening what could be a can of worms resulting in an entire drain tile job. I plan to monitor the situation for now, but based on their honest feedback I would use Ihn for either this or future jobs should the need arise.

Referred by Rotorooter to Ihn Company for a drainage problem. Jim came out the next morning, on time, after torrential rains in the area. He assessed the problem, delivered a fair and competitive bid by that evening and work was scheduled within the week. We were up against storms coming back through the area so he showed up with a large crew and completed the project in one day. New sump crock installed, thorough inspection and adjustment of existing sump, new drainage routes tied together for both, extra connection if we add more downspouts, top soil all around foundation and over trench, fully cleaned up as if nobody was even there. Returned a few days later to add grass seed (not part of the bid) and to my surprise was covered with straw and net to keep in place. Exceptional, professional, prompt, fair and a pleasure to work with. Will definitely call in the future for any of their services! Highly recommend!

Maybe I have written 2-3 reviews in my life, but definitely a reason to write this one.If I have one word to describe IHN Plumbing…REFRESHING! Our sewer lateral broke (from house to septic). From the 1st phone call to the last fist bump, IHN has me thoroughly impressed! Not having a working toilet for a family of 6 is stressful. After Jake Ihn arrived and offered what I deemed a fair and reasonable estimate (given that we dug the hole ourselves with an excavator), IHN had a crew at our house within hours! Mike and Andrew (plumbers) were professional, respectful, efficient, and pleasant.Phase 2 has me equally impressed! Initial estimate was to replace the rest of the pipe for the same price. As my son and I dug Phase 2, I speculated it could be for less $ (but didn’t’ say anything). When Mike and Andrew completed the work, they volunteered a reduced fee (without my prompting). That’s honest, and business with integrity! Everyone at IHN is refreshing (from Annie - amazing office staff), Jake Ihn, Mike & Andrew (plumbers)! IHN, you should be proud. I normally don’t write reviews, but this one is well deserved!

They were able to get someone out to my house right away (within an hour) to fix a clogged tub. He found and fixed the issue within 5 minutes (something fell down the drain and would block flow when water was in the pipe. Only downfall was that the simple fix still cost the price of the snaking and trip out (not at any fault to them). Im just glad the fixed it so quickly.

Great people to work with. I’m very happy with their work.If you’re interested interested in the specifics, they helped me bypass a lot of lead pipe in an older house with pex tubing, and replace other old questionable plumbing work with modern pex plumbing. They were great collaborators on how things like freeze proof outdoor tap, and future plans fit into the design. I’m also happy with the high efficiency tankless water heater that’ll avoid guests taking cold showers.I’m also happy with the new high efficiency furnace. It’s a huge step up from the 1970s model.

I recently purchased a new home that had some work done by IHN plumbing. After an independant foundation specialist came out to look over the work, I had some concerns and called. Jim, Kurt and a couple other guys came out re-did the drain tile test and were ready to fix anyhting that may have been wrong. Interior Drain tiles worked great, Jim went above and beyond by re-routing a drain spout that may have been causing some trouble and also cementing a corner that could have been the culprit. I was impressed with the service, but hope to never have to use them again..!! As I dont need any basement issues!

I had a BIG problem. What I thought might be tree roots causing the flood in my washroom was something Roto rooter couldnt get thru. They marked the spot outside where the clog was and said I would need to have to get someone who can dig and replace that part pf the pipe. They marked the spot on the lawn where the clog was with green paint. I got several quotes and hired I H N. Anne who seems to care of the office, is great, she made sure someone was out right away. She is a dream and they are lucky to have her there. I met Jake and he talked thru everything they would need to do. They dug up my front yard 10ft down and found the pipe and repaired it with PVC pipe. Then they took a camera to look down the rest of the sewer and found another spot that was blocked and needed to be fixed. this time it was in the grassy area of the circle drive. They dug 10 feet down and encountered a few problems since it rained the night before, drainage ties from an old farm. they sucked al the water out and continued to fix the pipe. The rest of the line looked fine but they descaled it and the put in the lining in so I wouldnt have anymore problems. All thru this the men were friendly, professional, informative, answered all my questions, and were very tidy. They were a great crew and worked well together. I cant say enough good things about them. If you need anything done they cover a wide range of services. These are the people to call if you want a good job.

Kurt came out do a quick inspection of a house we are buying as they had experienced previous water damage. He determined that the basement was in good condition and did not charge us for his time. Very professional and will be using IHN in the future.

We needed our sewer lateral repaired so I called IHN to find out about their CIPP Lining. I spoke with Annie, she was such a pleasure to talk with. She was very helpful and answered all my questions and arranged to have someone come out to talked to us in a couple days.Greg came and explain the whole process and gave us an estimate right away. He was very honest and knowledgeable.The crew showed up the next week and did a great job. they were professional, friendly ,and efficient. they also replaced an old cast iron sewer pipe in the basement that was cracked and didnt have to tear out the wall which was awesome! very pleased with their work and they did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing work we may need, or basement repair GREAT JOB BY EVERYONE INVOLVED!! P.S. they also have a great website

We discovered water in our basement and could not figure out the source. The high winds of late spring blew our roof top cover off and perhaps when it rained water was coming down that way. It couldve been the chimney. We had chimney and roof people out and no one could identify the source of the water.Then, Jim, from ICH came out and with 40 years of experience identified the source as a plugged tube from our furnace to the drain. The furnace produces condensation when its in air conditioning mode, and that condensation turns to water and it should drain out to basement drain. The tube was plugged thereby backing up the water back into the furnace where it found its way out onto our basement floor. Once unplugged, the drain works and there is no more water backing up.Thank you Jim!

We had Ihn replace our interior drain tile system and sump pumps. They were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They gave us plenty of warning about when the job would be done so that we were able to get our basement prepped for inevitable mess. They did a great job sealing the area as best they could as well. Each day they made sure to let us know what had been done and what was going to be done the following day. They were also able to send someone over within just a few hours of calling to replace some broken plumbing when our home warranty servicer was going to charge too much. We would absolutely recommend them for plumbing/foundation repairs.
