Amazing period. If your looking for professional on time and quality work for reasonable prices...these are your guys. I had a hot water tank issue long story short which no one would address. This company gave me a reasonable quote found the items no one else could ...came and did a HELL OF A JOB clean thorough and professional even fixing a few things I needed purely out of concern that I wouldnt have any further problems in the future #AWESOME. I called a tech cause I was having issues at 4pm. He found that my condenser had failed. Around 8 that night they called and gave me a very good price and said they could do it next day. So my ac wasn’t even out for 24 hours. Branden installed my unit and did a great job and explained everything thoroughly. Thompsons is the best in the area. Always call them first.

I had a new geothermal system installed less than one month ago. So far it is excellent, keeping my home nice and cool. The initial quote had to be revised upward because of the many utilities running under my yard, but I watched all the utility flags being placed and was kept informed. The workers involved in the project included the heating & a/c installers, well diggers, electricians, and lots of equipment. I think I would have like a little more communication from the project managers, but all in all it was a really good experience and I feel I have a top-notch system. I feel everyone was super-competent and enthusiastic.

Ever since we had our Geothermal installed we always call Thompson for all of our plumbing and heating/cooling needs. Appointments are made with minimal wait time and I trust their assessment and recommendations. Our most recent purchase was the tankless water heater. They arrived on time, the work was completed within a reasonable amount of time, and the employees were friendly, courteous, and professional. The water heater is of high quality. We have tried the rest and now we have had Thompson Plumbing and Heating install a new Bryant furnace and also install a 50-gallon hot water heater. My husband and I are so pleased with their service we are so happy that we chose them even though they were farther away than the other HVAC service providers. Thompson staff is so professional, knowledgeable and have an awesome selection of highest quality products available. My husband called and asked for a free estimate of the cost for a new furnace because ours which was in our house when we bought it was 26 years old. The very next workday (a Monday) they came to the house and gave us an estimate and on Friday 4 days later installed the Bryant furnace of our choice and a hot water heater we asked them to check our while they were there. We love Bryant equipment which we have in rentals we own. Now we have a really great Bryant dealer to handle our Bryant equipment service requirements.Thompson is fast to respond, very professional and pricing is reasonable with lower pricing than we have seen from other HVAC dealers. Since I bought my three bedroom two bath house in 2008 I have had to eventually replace every tap, faucet, and water element, and I have exclusively used Thompsons. What should further be mentioned is that I have also exclusively asked for Gary D. as my plumber, as that dude is the best, quiet and professional like workers who come into your house should be.I should also mention the decent prices.

Extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and worked hard to get my old propane dryer uninstalled and and new one converted. When a problem came up with the conversion kit (I got from manufacturer), tech worked hard to solve the issue and get correct part ordered. He even made sure to keep an eye out when a door was open that my cat didnt run out. Great customer service during a very frustrating situation. Will be calling them back once the correct part is in and for any other plumbing issues I have.

During the recent weather-related electrical power outages which impacted much of Monroe County, my husband and I experienced significant flooding in our basement on multiple occasions over the course of a week as a result of our sump pumps becoming disabled.We could not have recovered timely from that on-going crisis were it not for the kind support, compassion, responsiveness, skillfullness, integrity, and professionalism demonstrated to us by a number of representatives from Thompson Plumbing, Heating & A/C!We contacted them for service several times, and regardless of the time of day - whether it was 4:30 PM or 1:00 AM - our calls were immediately answered and a repairman was dispatched within an hour (sometimes within half an hour) to rescue us from the disaster in which we found ourselves!The services they provided us included sump pump repair, water draining, generator rental, and expert advice on how to prevent said disasters in the future! We had Thompsons come in and replace our furnace, AC, hot water heater and clean our vent ducts last fall. They came and got to job done in one day. They installed a water pan and drain under the hot water tank and cleaned out a heating duct that had filled with water from the previous ac unit. The duct cleaning helped with less dust and allergies in our home. Since it was too cold to set the AC in the fall, Thompson came back in the spring and finished the work. It was a great experience.

Overall very pleased they were friendly and professional I only have one complaint that I was not aware of at the time but my brother inlaw works for the heating and cooling business and inspected the work they did and informed me that the copper lines that run from the ac unit outside to the furnace inside were not changed he said that since my old unit was so old and used the old type freon that they were supposed to be changed for the new ac that runs on a new type freon and either way he said they should have been replaced and measured so that they would know how much freon would be needed to properly fill the lines but they never went in my crawl space to measure anything so this was included in the 7,000.00 dollar price tag I paid but didnt receive so Im guessing they saved the company some money but other then that I would recommend this company just need to be supervised I suppose. Oh and they also cause some damage to my wall when removing the old furnace but I will repair on my own I didnt know if it would be there responsibility or not .

I cant believe that Ive never written a review of this companys amazing work. For 15 years, my family has trusted Thompson with all our AC and Heating needs. When we moved into the area in 2005, they installed our AC and we have them routinely do cleaning and maintenance. When our home was affected by a storm years ago they were at our house first thing in the morning when the owner saw our home on the news. Their company made sure my family was ok after that tornado, and worked with our insurance to cover the repairs to our furnace that was damaged. Recently, they installed a new thermostat that requires a passcode so that my husband can have some measure of control since he is outnumbered by ladies in this house. Best small biz in the area.

We have called upon Thompson Plumbing and Heating for service and maintenance of our HVAC system for over a decade. They are prompt and professional and don’t try to sell you unnecessary services. They were quick to respond to emergency situations : flooded basement/heater going out in the middle of winter (water pump and heater previously purchased from a competitor). We purchased a new heater and thermostat from Thompson’s and when the heater needed attention they were out within an hour at no charge to us. Ed has been our HVAC service provider for many years and he remembers us and our Siamese cat who likes to supervise his work.

Theyre also union too!Unlike many of the other plummers, it appears they know what it means to build to code. Central AC failed Friday, June 14, seized compressor. Called Thompsons on Saturday. Called several other SE Michigan HVAC companies, they were all 4 to 8 weeks out. Thompsons had an estimator out on Monday morning. He gave me some options, we agreed on the best solution,and I received a very competitive estimate, which I approved. A little while later, I received a call scheduling installation on Thursday June 19. The installer was friendly & professional, removed the failed AC & old air handler, and installed & commissioned the new equipment in about 4 hours.The whole process, from first call to new functional AC went very smoothly and exceeded my expectations. They were having a team meeting at the restaurant and I of course saw the truck and their shirts….after eavesdropping and listening to their crew chief talk to the team about the importance of the team and the customer, it was a no brainer. Thompsons has performed all of my maintenance for years. When my heater finally stopped working for good, they were able to get a new unit installed 36 hours later...2 days before Christmas! I am extremely happy with Thompsons and will continue to use them in the future.

End of summer last year, my a/c was starting to show in its own way that it needed to be replaced. Considering the fact that both my furnace and a/c were about 33 yrs old, it was time. I called and was given Chriss number, Chris came out, explained with great detail what he was suggusting, which made total sense. He quoted me, and then of course I forgot about it, since this season started out slowly. After that first 90degree day, that was enough for me. Contacted Chris, we set up the date for installation. Bo and Brandon were the techs that came out. They both conducted themselves like true professionals. Explained things as they went along, answered any of my questions. Did some troubleshooting, only to find out it was a burnt out fuse. Brandon changed that out, and the a/c came on. Chris had stopped by twice, just to check how things were coming. I couldnt have asked for better team than them. I would definitely recommend Thompsons

They were very good at what they do. I told them about my situation with ac. When they took out my furnace to replace it with new one. They pointed out my problem and told me this is why you were not getting air in home. They went far and beyond my expectations and fixed my duct work. Now air works like it is suppose to. And installed a new thermostat. And so far everything is working like it is suppose to. I would recommend thompsons heating and cooling to anyone.

These guys installed a geothermal split system for me 2010ish. Excellent work and excellent product. Today, I woke up to no cooling. They were here in about 4 hrs and replaced a capacitor that was still covered by warranty.
